Description of Work: Overall, the job was performed to a barely satisfactory completion, however not worth the $1500+ price. I know this was partly my fault for not shopping around, however, I felt that time was critical since I’ve never dealt with having to replace a water heater. I sent measurements and pics of my old water heater’s surroundings to the main office for evaluation and an estimate. This was understandable considering the COVID shelter at home policy in effect. The estimator was kind and respectful, which I appreciated. The plumber was kind and respectful, also. Again, this was very much appreciated; however, he did lack in attention to detail. He accidentally crushed a part of my new water heater tray, but didn’t have a replacement in his van; he didn’t have a mop or towels to catch the water dripping from the old tank—he had to use mine; I let him use my Roto-zip tool when I saw him struggling with his hack saw when cutting my new pipe for the pressure relief valve; lastly, he failed to re-attach my ground wires for the pipes leading to the water heater. I would not recommend this company. I believe you can find just as good service for a much better price. Make sure to shop around

Description of Work: Major repair to replace a deteriorated elbow between main downspout and drainpipe running under the sidewalk to the gutter. It was a hard job because the downspout was tucked in an inaccessible corner. They had to break through a brick wall in addition to digging up the sidewalk. The initial repair leaked so they came back right away and put another piece of pipe from the new elbow up to the main downspout -- this work had to be done in the inaccessible corner. The final product is completely leak free, except when the opening to the street is blocked by ice as it was recently -- no fault of them obviously. The reason I gave only a B for quality is twofold -- 1) the initial repair didn't work, although they fixed it immediately, and 2) the quality of the cement repair on the sidewalk and the patch made in my brick wall was not great. I was warned it wouldn't match, but regardless it looks pretty bad. I would use them again for sure, though -- they are plumbers, not masons.

Description of Work: Sewer replacement. Job was well done and completed within the identified time frame. Workmen were professional and arrived on time and worked on the assigned tasks the complete time. Job was inspected and approved as required. Have since recommended this provider to friends.

Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal for Frost Free hose bib and free plumbing inspection. Contacted number on receipt to schedule appt. Appt was available within two weeks of purchase. Technician arrived as scheduled quickly replaced hide bib. Job looked very good. Inspection went well. Very thorough and technician adjusted some settings and tightened some loose items and provided a list of recommendations. Very satisfied with service.

Description of Work: Successfully cleared the drain. Technician knew his job. Office called with updates on when they expected the technical to arrive. Cleaned up his work area when finished. A bit pricey but would call them again if needed.

Description of Work: Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a joke! They came out and the plumber said he couldn't do the job because he didn't have a drill. But first he said he couldn't do it because it might rain or storm. Then he tried to sell me a preferred customer fee of $69 so that I would get preferred treatment for all other jobs. Shouldn't every customer get preferred treatment? I want my money back because I cannot have this company work on anything in my home.

Description of Work: My hot water heater broke on a Sunday and caused a flood into the living room. I found Robert's in the phone book which advertises "Same day 24 hour service". The plumber who called back encouraged me to wait until Monday saying it would cost me $999 on a Sunday and about $600 on Monday. I originally agreed to have him come on Monday but the water was hard to stay on top of and I felt I needed it fixed on Sunday. I called back asking him to come fix the water heater and he was curt, said he would be there in 45-60 minutes. An hour and a half later, I called to check when he would arrive, was told he would be paged, he never called back. I called another plumber and canceled the work with this company.

Description of Work: On January 18, 2007, the toilet in the upstairs bathroom clogged. We called plumbers around 7:30pm. Robert's Plumbing stated they may be able to send a plumber out that evening. We waited about two and a half hours. Robert's Plumbing called to confirm that we needed a plumber around 8:30pm. No one had showed up at that time, so we said we did. A Robert's Plumbing van parked but no one came to our door. While he was in the van, plumbers from another company the back door of our home. Since the other plumbers came first, we told them to start work. When the plumber from Robert's Plumbing came to the door a few minutes later, I stated that another company arrived first and I apologized for his trouble. He said that there was a fee for calling a plumber to a call and another plumber was already there doing the work. This fee was $135. This fee was NEVER mentioned at any point in the two calls with Robert's Plumbing. (Continued Below)

Description of Work: Robert's installed a natural gas line from my basement up to a roof top deck and installed water lines from my basement to the deck and my back porch and installed hose connections. All lines were exterior from ground level up to about 45 feet high.

Description of Work: A leak was detected in the water line between the house and the water main at the end of the driveway. Part of the concrete driveway apron and part of the asphalt driveway were removed, and part of the front yard and driveway were dug up to provide for installation of a complete new line. A new shut-off valve was installed inside. All debris including two shrubs were removed, and the driveway was swept clean.
