Good installation, nice unit, came on time, but the tech did not put the old water heater in a bag before removing and this caused water and dirt stains on the carpet. He cleaned up a little before he left, but we will still have to get the carpets cleaned. Called the office and the manager told him to go HD and rent a machine but the tech just wanted to damp cloth up the mess. It should not have happened in the first place.

Mr Rooter was very easy to work with, they were great at communicating every detail. It was an excellent experience and I would use them again!

The project was to replace a rusted out sewage tank cover in the basement. Code requires the cover to be gas-tight to prevent sewer gas venting into the living area. During the first visit the service tech recommended replacing the pump at the same time since the installed pump was very old, and I agreed to replace it, even though it still functioned. They installed a new pump and cover. The cover was not gas-tight as there were no seals around the pipes, and it was the wrong size. This is where the problems begin. The service techs (4 different teams were sent to the job-site) are pleasant and do what the service manager sends them out to do. I believe they fear him and his abusive personality. They do not question him and any question you the customer may have will be directed back to the service manager. Once you start dealing w/him beware. He will say anything to you to pay, and there is no follow up. I recommend you read the Codes before dealing with these guys. When the undersize tank cover was identified to the service manager the excuse was “it's supposed to be vented”. My retort was “if the pump fails I would have sewage all over the basement the way they installed this cover, and one of the 2 inch pipes is a vent pipe”. Even when I read the Code to him he came up w/another lie/excuse for the improper install and refused to correct the work to the code. His last excuse was they installed the largest cover there was and it did not fit. I went online and found several from different manufacturers that were much larger, and ordered the correct size in less than an hour. In addition to the wrong size cover, I was not provided an invoice for the work or warranty paperwork for the pump. They get you email address to send invoices and communicate w/you. However, their email address is a “no-response” email, so in reality they do not want to communicate, but they start sending advertisement right away. Since I did not get an invoice I had to call and ask them to send it and provide the warranty info on the pump installed. While requesting a copy of the invoice for what I paid for, and the warranty paperwork for the pump he installed I was transferred to the service manager. Dealing with the service manager is a night mare, his last words before he hung up on me was "quit bother us". I eventually received the invoice by email, and have blocked their advertisements. Once they have your money they are done. I have to finish the job myself. The Service Manager still refuses to send me the warranty info. He said if the pump fails they will come and fix it. This company will NEVER enter my home again. I have to go into the sewage tank and pull the pump up and get the name plate data so I can go online and get the warranty info for what was installed. I might as well not hired anyone and saved myself close to $1000. The service manager is single minded get your money and stop dealing w/the customer. Cu

I had the new water heater installed within 2-3 hours from the time I received the call from Mr Rooter. Reasonable price, better than 2 big box hardware stores. Very satisfied with the professional work of the plumber will definitely consider the company for future repair.

Great response time, service and performance. Overall, a little pricey but I think it was worth it.

They diagnosed the problem and replaced it within 24hours - not too shabby right? Their prices are reasonable and their customer service is up front and honest - give them a try!

Other than some confusion with the schedule, the work was great and I would definitely use them again. They actually were able to come early which worked out well.

Excellent experience. Was able to schedule same day service without begging or an additional charge. Technician immediately identified the problems and fixed everything, and even fixed some other minor things for free. Price seemed average for a plumber.

He showed up early and worked quickly. Took the time to listen to what the issues were and when he was finished, he ran several tests to make sure the drains were clear.
