He's excellent, young, new and has that great energy. Really won me over just has to get a couple more quotes. He is also very professional. Definitely went above and beyond with ideas.

Pablo had given us an estimate in mid December for both replacement of the back door and a new deck. We had decided to put off building the deck until it was a little warmer weather. But, we really wanted the old back door removed and replaced with a safer and better option. Pablo is very professional and came back to do another estimate closer to the date of the work and then a third time to make sure of the dimensions. We have a VERY old townhouse (built in 1900) and this back door was extremely old. It hadn't originally been framed properly and the deadbolt went into the trim. So, we were extremely happy to have a new door framed and put in correctly. Pablo and his team (Carlos and another younger worker) were excellent. They showed up on time and worked diligently throughout the day. What we thought would take 2-4 hours actually ended up taking almost 8 hours since they had found that they needed to do more work (chipping the brick and shaving some of the drywall) to make the door fit. They hung new trim and spackled the drywall, repainted the outside/inside, and caulked everything so it was sealed. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone doing work to their home. We are actually having them come this morning to finish up the sanding and painted the interior of the door (they needed to let it dry) so I can't wait to see the finished product. They were excellent and we are looking forward to working with them in the spring on our deck.

I was impressed with them although I did not use them. I am still just looking for estimates. Their estimate was a little more than I had anticipated. They were very nice. They expressed I could do the job in stages. I just chose to not follow through at this time. They were very pleasant and explained things well. They answered any questions I had. I was pleased with them. The gentleman came with his wife and they were equally professional and capable of answering questions. They did not do the work but I was impressed with their professionalism in the preliminary stages.

Had an appointment scheduled on 8/12/2010. When they came out they took measurements and said someone would get in touch with me. One month later (Chad Wright) called back to inform me that he would need more measurements. We set up an appointment with me on 9/23/10 Chad didn't show up on that day or call to let me know he wasn't coming. The day after this appointment I called the company back and spoke with Joyce Kelly, who had done the initial measurement, and she said she would check into and call me back. To date nobody has called me back.

Initially I was going to go with him. I talked to the guy that I was going to work with. He said he couldn't do it to my price range and he took forever to get me the quote. I met with him on a Saturday and he said he would give me the quote on Wednesday or Thursday. I didn't hear from him on whatever day he said he would give it to me. I called him the next day and he said it was over by $7000.00 more than I wanted to spend. I asked him what was taking him so long to send me a quote and why was it so much more. He said he would send it to me but then he didn't send it to me. Another week went by and then he sent me something but it was blank. By that time I found the contractor I am working with now. I think he just got overwhelmed because his secretary was out of town. I was willing to work with him but I guess he was too busy to work with me. I think he just got overwhelmed in terms of the amount of work he was doing and couldn't give me the quote. He said that he had the quote and that it was more than I wanted to spend yet he wasn't able to send me the quote a week or so after he told me that he done the quote. I thought that was a little fishy. He was responsive but not in terms of actually getting the quote to me. It took too long for him to give me the quote and when he did it was blank. It would have been good to work with him had he been available. I would consider him in the future for a quote if I needed to.

Pablo and his crew did a great job with our bathroom. We had done all the demo and gave him a (slightly beaten up) blank slate. He gave us a competitive, accurate estimate. He and his team were friendly, respectful and always willing to communicate and accept feedback. We had bumps in the road, like any project, but Pablo was always professional and up front with us. All the elements of the job were completed as we asked. The plumbing works well, the tile looks very nice and our new vanity and drawers were fabricated to fit just right. At the few instances where we weren't sure what would look best, Pablo politely offered his opinion... and he was right each time. Also, he and his guys always cleaned up after each little task, or at the end of the day. That goes a long way after a week or two. In the end, we were very pleased with our new bathroom and will contact them again when it's time for another renovation. Pablo is a friendly guy and easy to work with. At one point, he saw us struggling on a whole separate project (repairing drywall under a skylight) and hopped right up on the ladder and offered his help, free of charge.

I packed all of my things and stacked them in the middle of the room, away from the walls. The work was done while I was at work. The workers covered the stack in the middle of the room with plastic. The walls they had to work with were a mess (I had removed the wallpaper, and there were spots underneath with peeling paint; there was water damage on one small section, necessitating replacement of drywall). The entire job took 3 days, and the results look very good. Mr. Machioli threw in the repair of a light fixture in the bathroom for no extra charge. The price may be better or worse than the "B" I gave it; I got only one other estimate.

Mr. Machioli was the consummate professional throughout the process. His initial review of the job was thorough and the estimate very reasonable. Throughout the project we felt in partnership with him in selecting design features, functionality and other details. His communicating and follow through was excellent. The finished quality of work is exceptional. Couldn't be happier.

This project was surprisingly easy. I had interviewed several contractors, one of which never got back to me and others who I was afraid would cut corners. Pablo wanted to do the work and wanted to work with me on the design. I asked for a very architectural design and he prepared drawings exactly to my specifications. This meant some of the work would have to be hand crafted. He is extremely creative when it comes to problem solving. I have an art gallery and good design is very important to me. He called me every morning to tell me he was about to enter the back garden which I think is so thoughtful. The crew was prompt, friendly and willing to work through some of the damp and rainy weather to complete the job in a timely manner. They came to work. Just wonderful. I would feel extremely confident recommending Pablo Machioli to do this type work for anyone
