Description of Work: We got a quote from Machioli Construction LLC. We wanted him to rebuild our side porch.

Description of Work: I used the provider's own website to contact them to setup a meeting to get a quote. I received no response.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate, spoke to the proprietor, set up a time to meet, and sent an email to confirm. He never showed up at the appointed time.

Description of Work: I used Machioli for remodeling. We used them in February 2013. We got the estimates in November. It was about 5000 dollars, more or less.

Description of Work: I contracted with Machioli Construction to perform two jobs for me. The first converted an old, second, staircase into a laundry area on the first floor, and a much larger bedroom closet on the second floor. This job involved quite a bit of interior demolition, including removing a staircase and stripping a large portion of the wall down to brick. They also had to build a new floor where the staircase was, and finish it all with paint and drywall so that it looked like it had always been that way. Plumbing and electrical work had to be done as well to complete the laundry room. This job cost approximately $6000. The second job they did for me was smaller. Neither of the upstairs bathrooms had bath fans when I bought the house, so I hired Machioli construction to put bath fans in both bathrooms. This job cost approximately $1200.

Description of Work: Pablo Machioli and his team saved us from a horribly botched, delayed, and incomplete remodeling job started by another firm. We've brought his team into our home for three separate projects, ranging from a straight-forward, whole house interior painting job, to a complete tear-out/remodel of a full bath, and the "rescue" i cite above, which included a number of difficult construction/innovation fixes for a kitchen/bath remodel project.

Description of Work: Complete bathroom renovation including layout change. Bathroom on second level expanded by taking down wall. Installed a window where a door to deck used to be located. Below is a breakdown of the work performed. Description of Work: I used Machioli Construction LLC to do a new deck on the front porch and to redo the steps. They put in a new door for the kitchen at the back of the house.

Description of Work: Used Pablo to move a laundry room from our main floor off kitchen to an upstairs small extra bedroom. They handled demolition of old closet, framing of new room, tile on floor, all plumbing and electrical.

Description of Work: Used the Big Deal to get a remodel design for our kitchen. Mr. Machioli used a very thorough and well designed survey to identify our concerns, and wishes for a new kitchen. He then incorporated our ideas into a stunning new kitchen design.

Description of Work: Machioli construction took on a gut renovation of our bathroom. They removed and replaced old floors, windows, walls, plumbing and fixtures, installed new lighting, heat, and electrical outlets. They put in new tile, painted, and installed a new vanity and mirror cabinet.

Description of Work: They painted our front porch and installed ceiling fans. They also remodled our downstairs bathroom.

Description of Work: After viewing the comments on Angie's list, I'd had Pablo come out to my place of business to bid on some renovations to our historic buliding . At that time I was very impressed with his response time and level of professionalism and ebven though the agecny decided not to move forward with the plans, I kept Machioli Construction in mind for any related work. So naturally when our church decided to make improvements to the edifice we'd just purchased, I recommended Pablo Machioli after first contacting him myself to remind him of who I was. Pablo did meet our Associate Minister at the property to go over the scope of the work but NEVER provided a quote qnd NEVER even returned the phone calls which were placed to him inquiring as to the written estimate. Later, when I attempted to reach Pablo's cell phone or the business phone number I found that I was unable to reach anyone. Needless to say, my opinion of this company has been drastically altered. *This is not a home but a church and I do not know the year that it was built. Again, however, the software would not permit me to submit my review unless I chose a year. This software needs to be more user-friendly.

Description of Work: The previous owners of my home started to finish the basement, but did not see the project through to completion. In the main living area, they constructed a raised floor, framed the walls, and hung drywall. I contracted Pablo to finish the job. He assessed the space, and provided a plan that a) capitalized on the work that had already been done, and b) made the best use of the space and the limited natural light available. Description of Work: Machioli Construction painted the first floor (LR, DR, BN, kitchen, hallway and radiators), the stairway, second floor landing, and one bedroom. Prepping the walls included patching ceilings after plumbing work had taken place.
