Kleenize Rug Cleaners

I brought the area rug in to be cleaned. It had recent pet stains which I pointed out. I thought they'd do a more thorough cleaning, especially when asked. I'm not sure the pet stains are fully removed (where the dog can't smell them) but otherwise the rug looks GREAT. It's been a while, I don't remember exactly how much I paid, or the date of service.

My experience with them was great. They did a good job. It was relatively inexpensive. It's a place where you bring your own rugs in and they cleaned it for you. It was good, they did a good job.

They are expensive, but they were very good. They are really thorough, and they know what they are doing. I don’t think that they rip us off. If we take the stuff to them and pick it up ourselves, we save ourselves like 20% or a significant amount. If we have any questions about something, they are knowledgeable to answer. We don’t have to worry like I put it there and I wonder if it will come back okay. It's probably the best hands we can put them in because they really do a good job. They did bring a couple of rugs back for me that were too big for me to do myself. They offered to put the whole thing down. I couldn’t roll it down myself. I didn’t have the furniture all in place the way I wanted it. So I didn’t have them do that, but they were willing to do that. They are very pleasant to deal with. They deal with everything in a timely manner. The only thing is that they are closed for lunch; I don’t know if it's between twelve and one or one and two. If we go at that time, we are out of luck and we have to wait. Other than that, I would use them again.

We lugged our rug to Kleenize just like the ad on the radio says we could do. We have used them many times and have always been happy with the results. The last time with took our daughter's rug there and it looks like new. Not bad considering her dog had thrown up the contents of the Easter basket in the middle of it. (Dog is OK; chocolate didn't stay down long enough to hurt him.)

They cleaned some rugs and they were fine, if I remember correctly they were not expensive

They rebound the edges of 4 rugs and did an excellent job. Some of these rugs were badly frayed and Kleenize made them look almost new.

It is so close to me and if it's just an area rug I can put it in the car and drop it off at my convenience. I pick it up and put it in my truck and I'm done. It takes about a week for them to clean it and they tell me when it will be ready. It is a nice family run business.

Horrendous job. I brought in two 5x8 children's pottery barn kid carpets to be cleaned to get the "haul it in" discount. One was pink and beige, the other baby blue stripes (both clearly from the rooms of young children). he pink carpet had several visible stubborn dirt marks, but the blue carpet had no visible stains. I was not asked any questions about stains on the rugs, nor was I warned that certain types of stains might be exacerbated by the cleaning process. When I arrived to pick up the rugs, they were wrapped in brown paper and tied. No one offered to show them to me and I was not notified of any problem with the cleaning. I was charged full price, paid cash (only cash or checks accepted). When I got home, I unwrapped the pink rug first. It looked identical (i.e. equally as dirty) as when I brought in. I then unwrapped the blue rug; I noticed when carrying it in that it smelled of urine in a way it did not when I brought it in. When I unwrapped it, there was a type note in the center of the rug. It said that the cleaning process had made urine stains in the carpet worse through no fault of theirs. It was accurate, as the rug now had yellow stains it did not have when I brought it in and smelled strongly of urine. After inspecting the rugs, I was shocked that Kleenize had not told me of the problem with the cleaning at the time of pickup, instead they said nothing, and accepted my money. I would have accepted at least an apology, which I have yet to recieve. I called to complain. I was told I could lug the rugs back and they would clean again, but again no apology.. I said that I didn't see the point in that, as I feared the rugs would only be further destroyed if I did so. Kleenize did not offer to pick up the rugs or to come view them at my house. I offered to e-mail them photos of the rugs, and they said they were not interested. I asked for a refund and was declined. I notified them that I intended to report their poor service on Angie's List and said this was their opportunity to try to make things right for me. Again, their only offer was for me to bring the rugs back and to clean again I (which seems wildly inconsistent with their stating initially that it was the cleaning process which messed up the blue striped rug). I'm not sure what this place thinks "good will and good service" entails, but apparently it does not include actually removing dirt from carpets, or advising a client that the cleaning process has not gone as planned (never mind apologizing). Stay far away!

Very positive experience, responsive and superior work.

The folks at Kleenize did an excellent job of removing the pet stains and deoderizing the rugs. After my success with the first rug, I used them a second time when another area rug needed cleaning, so I'm a two-time satisfied customer. When you drive up, someone quickly comes to your car and removes the rug (and vice-versa when you pick up). Make sure you have a check because they don't accept credit cards. I plan to bring another rug--an expensive Oriental rug--to be cleaned in the very near future.

Dropping off the rug was very simple and exteremely organized. The rug was ready when promised and it was much cleaner. There was a spot that did not come out, but I don't fault Kleenize for that. Picking up the rug was just as organized as dropping it off. By the time I had paid the bill, the rug was waiting in my truck.

They came to the car so I didn't have to drag the rugs out by myself. The rugs were cleaned promptly and left without any stains or odor.

They are very good, and I got twenty percent discount for bringing in my rug to them. I am planning to do it again. I think the price was reasonable. They did a good job.

They are very knowledgeable about the care and maintenance required for Oriental rugs. They are very honest about promising, and then not being able to deliver results. They do a terrific job cleaning pet spots. We are pleased with their service, and will use them again.

I liked them a lot. They are very old school. They have a building from 1948. They don't take credit card. They are all business. They show up, and the guy runs out and grabs the rugs. By the time, they have written me up and it is back in my car. They are good guys.

I dropped off my rugs at Kleenzies. They were ready on time and look great.

We sent in a 5x8 100% wool Indian handmade rug, rust and blue with touches of white, "Herd" pattern, with a white backing, in good shape. We had taped the white fringe at both ends back to keep the vacuum cleaner from chewing it up.. Kleenize cleaned the rug without removing the tape, I don't know why. The white fringe is now mottled brown and gummy, except under the tape, where it is white and clean. The white backing on the rug is also mottled brown over its entirety--it was still white when we sent it in. The front of the rug looks clean, but is somewhat faded, and the nap is mashed down. This was a moderately expensive rug with a really thick nap that we bought years and years ago during a Christmas sale at Macy's for $500.00. It has been in an upstairs library room since 1989. We took the rug there, along with one other, because our neighbors have used it with good results, and it has a high rating in Angie's List. We were very disappointed, and will never go back.

I like the work that they do. It is a family owned business and they do a good job in cleaning the rugs. They give me a discount if I bring my rugs to them.

First time using this compnay. At a friend's recommendation, I dropped off two oriental rugs to be cleaned and deodorized (both had an edge which my cat had urinated on). Rugs when done when promised, looked and smelled great.

They picked up a rug cleaned it and brought it back. I liked their promptness with the pickups. The quality was good.

When I unrolled the "cleaned" rug it still had MANY areas of stain/dirt on it. An attached slip of paper said that basically "any stain left in the rug could not be removed without damaging it." In all fairness, I got the rug from my parents home & I don't think it had ever been cleaned. But I am going to have to try to clean these areas myself. At least the rug doesn't smell anymore, because it was quite musty-smelling. Overall, I was very disappointed in the job done.

The rug is approximately 120 Sq. ft. They did a very nice job. The price was among the best! I have used them for years. They are cash and carry.

I made the call and they were most accommodating to my need for quick service for unexpected guests. They picked up and delivered as promised and helped me move a table. The rugs looked like new
