Owner and assistant arrived timely and videotaped drain as agreed. Camera showed that drain, while a bit narrow , is, fairly level, which prevents gravity from aiding the removal of sewerage during flushes. They spent a while viewing the drain from a couple of angles and made sure clogs were removed. They worked carefully to prevent any mess or scratches/damage to toilet.

After 3 weeks I had not heard back from the plumbing company so I cancelled the requested service. It took waiting on the phone for over 15 minutes on 2 different occasions to reach a live person to help me with this cancellation at Angie's List. Customer Service needs to be improved. I am no renewing my enrollment after this bad experience although the service rep. was very apologetic.

The slow drain problem was the same (should have been checked before they left - my fault). There was nothing conclusive about the camera being inserted into the drain. When the company was called they came and checked the line in the yard, Mike (a really nice fella) said that the County should be called as he believes it's on their end where the problem is. It should be noted that after the sewer line was snaked the last time it took two times to clear the blockage. Also the fellows were polite and friendly, yet I'm still sitting (literally) on a potential nasty back up problem. Calling and receiving work from the County is, I'm assuming, a long & tedious process.

They blasted them out and it made a huge difference by the time we had our first downpour. One of the drywells was too far gone and had actually been caved in . They helped me located where it fed in and I ended up just running an alternate line around it until I get around to digging it up replacing it.

They were in and out in an hour. They even let me look into the camera to see what they were seeing. He was very professional and informative. The tech's name was Jason.

Everything went well. Camera inspection revealed slight root problem. Was impressed with the fact that the company did not try to "oversell" a service. Made suggestion of what we should to do to offset the problem.

Everything was perfect and I was extremely satisfied with the service. The service was worth every penny spent. Scheduling worked exactly to my needs and they accommodated my work schedule.

10/It went well. My husband and myself was able to see the inside of the pipe on a computer monitor as the camera was searching inside the pipe.

Contacted me promptly, though I was unavailable. Once we connected, set up visit for next day and they arrived as scheduled. Did video inspection of drain, which was generally reassuring and provided me with options for further maintenance. There are some roots (we've had clogs augured twice in the past 13 years) but pipes appear sound. I'm still trying to decide about best approach given the findings. Drain Sights recommended jetting followed by RootX and provided a reasonable estimate, but no pressure (pun intended). Suggested my purchasing RootX online as the most cost effective (was not trying to sell that to me).

They seemed to do a nice job. However it seemed a little too casual, I never got anything in writing or anything about the results. We would have liked a little more feedback and some documentation from the company.

They did what they said they would do. They were efficient.

By snaking and water injection, they tried to clear the pipe. Returned a few days later with drain camera and located the site of the clog. The agreed solution was to dig and replace the pipe but their price was too high. Digging and pipe repair was done by my standard handyman. They were knowledgeable and did everything anyone could have done based on what was found.

I discovered a basement drain that was backing up and overflowing on Sunday (29 Sep 2013). I checked Angie's List and found a coupon for 'Last Chance - $99 For Sewer Line Video Inspection, Plus Free Indoor Drain Cleaning'. I selected this offer because I was concerned that root intrusion of my underground sewer lines may have been the cause of my concern. When I bought the coupon, I selected three potential dates for the service including Monday, September 31. I contacted Drain SIghts, LLC on Tuesday morning when I had not heard from anybody to schedule an appointment. I called the phone number on Angie's List and reached 'Mike'. I explained the concern and how I had found his company. He was very polite and responsive and indicated that he had availability the following day. Mike contacted me on Wednesday 02 October as we had agreed and indicated that he and his colleague were enroute. Upon arrival, the two gentlemen visually inspected the sink and we discussed the concern. Mike explained that the Angie's List coupon only covered clearing out the trap of the sink. For my concern, he recommended a Hydro Jet treatment, (flushing the sewer lines with water.) He stated that hydro jet cleared the lines rather than a snake that only pokes a hole in the debris. He stated that he would give me a discount on Hydro Jetting the lines since he was already there, and would only charge me an additional $350.00 rather than the customary $500. Snaking the lines would cost me $150 and would likely result in their return within months. I agreed to have the hydro jet service performed. He and his coworker set about cleaning my pipes and clearing the blockage which was located in my gray water (smaller) sewage line. By all appearances they did an excellent job, cleaning any spilled water as they went and conscientiously ensuring that no sewage water was dripped or spilled within my residence. Mike stated that he could pretty much tell through the hydro jet process that there was no resistance in my lines so he felt pretty confident that there was no root intrusion. Upon completion of the hydro jet, Mike and his associate attempted to open the maintenance port on my main (larger) sewage line so that they could perform the video inspection. The maintenance port would not open and Mike said he was concerned he would completely strip the bolt if he kept trying to open it. He said the only way to perform the camera inspection was to cut my main copper sewage line and install a new maintenance port. I declined to have this done simply to perform a video inspection. I asked them what they would do for me regarding the price, as I had not received any services that I originally paid $99 for (camera and drain clean). I did not want to pay an additional $350. Mike indicated that his boss would be upset if he did not charge at least $350 for a video inspection, and there was some discussion about price. However, once I looked on Angies' List and found a second coupon from Drain Sights, LLC charging $300 for a hydro jet service and brought that to Mike's attention, he agreed to only charge an additional $200 making the total price for the work to be done $300. Mike and his colleague did good work. They were clean and friendly. I am not sure that I would recommend Drain Sights, LLC in the future though. If I do, I will encourage whomever I speak with, to ensure both price and services to be performed are clearly defined and agreed upon first.

The video camera inspection revealed some small root intrusions into the drain pipe. These are clay pipes installed when the house was built in the mid sixties. I was able to schedule a drain cleaning to remove the obstruction(s) the following week. The same Drain Sight technicians peformed both tasks. The follow-up cleaning visit was $275...which I thought was quite reasonable. As indicated in the service ratings, the guys were great and I would use them again.

I purchased the deal for a Mainline Sewer Camera Inspection. At the scheduled time for the inspection I also had a backed up utility sink. Drain Sights inspected the lines and concluded that my sewage lines were clogged up from years of usage. They performed a hydro jetting service that flushed out the lines. Drains are flowing the best they have flowed in years. I would highly recommend Drain Sights and would definitely use them again.

It went pretty good. They were not able to get the entire project completed because they had trouble opening the valve for the sewer line. We decided it would be too risky to proceed with the service because it could create more problems. He found another clean out area where he could get at part of the sewer line as an alternative which worked out well. We forgot about the second part of the deal which was a sump pump inspection, which they never followed up on.

Mike and Jason came out and attempted to put the camera in through an access in the basement. When this didn't work, they attempted to go through the vent line on the roof. When this didn't work, they pulled the toilet on the main level and were successful with their camera inspection. The camera inspection identified a root in the main sewer line. Mike used a detector to identify the location of the camera under my lawn. Mike and Jason then used the augur to cut the root out of the line. Finally, they put the camera down to verify the root was cleared. The camera went all the way to the city sewer line with no blockages.

They showed up on time and worked professionally. They let me know what my problem was and suggested methods to prevent such problems from occurring in the future.

The service I got from Drain Sights, LLC went very, very well. They also looked at a mystery hole under my patio. Since the Big Deal was to scope two drains, I had arranged with them to have that hole scoped with the "quote-unqoute", the second drain. They were able to scope that and give me a sense of what's going on under there. So I was very pleased with them. Their flexibility really stood out to me. I didn't precisely have two drains, but I did have two areas to be scoped. They were quite willing to put their cameras where I asked them to. They'd be the first ones I'd call if I needed their services.

When they came in, the basement was flooded. I was informed that both sump pumps had stopped working. I had them replace two existing sump pumps that cleared the basement but did nothing to prevent flooding a few days later. The problem was actually due to water coming in through the walls. I was not there when the work was completed and was informed that the guys failed to lockup at the end of the day. And, I have not received any paperwork. I have called twice for a receipt and warranty information on the two sump pumps.

Drain Sights did a great job. They answered our phone call right away and set up a time to come out the very same day. Our main line had backed up and had come up into our basement. They used a camera, and snaked the drain clearing it completely. We did however run into the same problem a few weeks later (not due to the fault of Drain Sights) and not only did they once again answer the phone right away, but they came out on a Saturday! They snaked and cleared the mainline and informed us of a root problem and recommended that we get Root-x, which seems to have done the trick. They had even called on Saturday morning to ask if it was okay to come earlier than the time they had given us, which was refreshing! We would absolutely recommend Drain Sights as well as use them again in the future.

I purchased the discount service through Angies List. However, I did not receive a call from the company. After 3 or 4 days I called the company and they immediately scheduled an appointment. According to the technician, everything was fine, but I did notice he re-sealed the cover for the sump pump at no additional cost. I would use this company again.

Was beneficial as we were wondering if line was clear since having issues.

He was on time and did not try to Sella service I didn't need.

Spoke to him on the phone in the afternoon, he was at my father's home within two hours. Set expectations that the visit would cost $125, which it did. Cleared up the problem - it was all very simple.
