My mother has an old push/pull faucet which no longer turned off. She needed a face cloth for leverage to pull it out to turn the water on. I was prepared to replaced the tub/shower faucet. I was told that it was only the cartridge that needed replacing. Since it was an older model faucet, he left to obtain the correct part and returned within the hour. The job was done in about 20 minutes. Very pleased with them. He saved her a lot of grief, not to mention money. Definitely would do business again.

I found standing water around a drain in my basement, a drain I'd never had a problem with before. I first made the mistake of calling Len the Plumber. The guy came in, and I left him standing there, staring at the water when I went to quickly take care of something else. I returned five minutes later to him telling me he needed to jackhammer around the drain and that it would cost at a minimum $1700 or up to $2800. I paid him the $45 "visit" charge and got rid of him, then did what I should have done in the first place. Checked with Angie's list. The guys from Aqua plumbing came in, were puzzled by the problem, but used a wet vac to clear the water and determined, after asking a bunch of smart and specific questions, that it was probably a freak occurance. "If you've lived here six years and you've never seen this before then keep an eye on it and let us know if it happens again." With a smile, a handshake and a business card, he left and I'll never call another plumber again. Aqua Plumbing will always get my call.

We will definitely use Aqua for future plumbing needs.

After calling four plumbers to service what we thought was a major drain leak (overflowing tub, flowing down to our main level ceiling), Fred called back shortly after I initially reached out and left a message with one of his staff members. He wanted to know, in detail, what was going on and would stop to interject and to ask me questions to ensure that he understood the plumbing challenge. He asked if we would be home for awhile. I said 'yes', and he said, "I'm really close to your address, we'll be over there shortly to check this out." They were prompt, courteous, and he took the time to troubleshoot and to decipher that it wasn't a plumbing or drain problem; it was a washer/dryer problem. He suggested next steps; part of the equation was having an appliance repair professional out to fix the problem. He asked me to call him back and let him know what the challenge was. I asked what I could pay him and he said, "Nothing at all." My husband and I were floored! For someone who went out of their way to help us and to not write up a bill in return made our day. He was solutions oriented, he was thorough, and he was so compassionate. He just really cared about our challenge and wanted to ensure that it was taken care of. We'd call him again in a heartbeat!

Was able to inspect the hot water heater and order the parts to install the very next day. Hot water heater now works better then ever. Just wasn't sure about writing the check to the repair man and not the actual company.

They gave me a 30-day guarantee and that's just about how long this sham lasted. And the charge was actually $247.00 for this worthless job. They gave me the Angie's List discount. Even at $225, that's a hefty amount of cash to charge for a job that lasted just 30 days. Next time maybe I should call a real plumber. BTW, there never was a clog. It's a problem in the double-sink drainage pipes. As the garbage disposal in the left sink disposes, the right sink fills up and vice-versa. Of course I'm not a plumber but any lay person of normal intelligence can figure this one out.

The two workers arrived promptly and were pleasant and efficient. I appreciate their flexibility and excellent work. They were cooperative and polite. I will definitely call them again.

The service was fantastic! I appreciate that they were a local company and were able to come the same day, and arrived early in the morning. They were very polite, efficient and priced competitively. I will definitely use them again and recommend them for all plumbing needs!

I called for a leak near my shower. Had spread into the adjacent room and I was concerned about the floor below. Originally contacted Bamford Plumbing but due to scheduling issues was referred to Aqua. The person who answered the phone was very professional and was able to schedule me early the next week. My grade on the punctuality has to do with my plumber being dragged away to a local Burger King where a line had burst, flooding the restaurant. He apologized and actually ended up swinging by the house during his drive back to get parts for the Burger King job. He quickly diagnosed the problem which ended up requiring a minor adjustment. Due to the delay and the minimal nature of the issue, he did not charge me for the service. I will be using Aqua again, specifically because despite his late arrival, he kept me in the loop as to his legitimate reasons for the delay. Some services I've dealt with in the past will turn into a black hole, becoming unreachable and giving no explanation.

this was a weekend call so the cost was very high.

Was referred by another plumber who was booked up. Phone was answered after 8pm and received a prompt call from John shortly thereafter to let me know they could come the next day. As promised, they called right around 8 to give me an exact time for my appointment. They were totally friendly, worked fast, and found the source of the leak. Very happy with the experience!

My sump pump float became dis-attached and was not operating correctly. I called to have someone come out as soon as possible - and was referred by another plumbing company to Aqua. The workers arrived within an hour, which was nice because I was needing to bail water and had to get to work. They diagnosed correctly that the pump was disattached and reattached it so the pump would work. They would have likely left and not charged me at that point. The pump is old, plastic and finicky - there is nothing like living with the uncertainty of it failing during a heavy rainfall. They indicated it would be a good idea to replace the pump ... and I had been feeling that way for some time. It is 5 years old. They were going to come back the next day, but discovered that a local distributer had 2 pumps in stock. They went out and had it installed within 30 minutes. It is a nicely constructed solid cast iron pump with a float on a rigid pole. It comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty and a one year installation warranty through Aqua. I don't think the speed of response and installation could have gone better. I do not know the average for sump pump installation. The pump itself likely cost under $150. But, I did not wish to attempt the installation. So, I'll give it an A, as I believe it is likely at least an average price for the job. And I have a lot of peace of mind.

Great! I am sad to say that we simply cannot afford work at this time.

My heat went out, I called, Don was there within a couple of hours,replaced the coupler and got my heat goind fast.This company is always so attentive, inexpensive and pleasant to work with. I have spread the word amoungst my old lady friends and they have been just as happy with the service as I have.

came out to help on 4th of July as we had a backed up French drain causing water in a finished part of the house. great help.

The plumber was great! He snaked out the disposal and the drain as far as he could go, and he provided me with a list of the types of food items that most often clog drains. He was on time and his prices were quite reasonable.

I ended up finding another plumber who was able to provide the service, was on time, and fixed the hose bib. I didn't have to wait until Spring!

Excellent service. They were close by, so arrived within 15 minutes. Problem resolved quickly. They were extremely pleasant and courteous, and were very nice with my dog. I will be contacting them again should the need arise.

Don (I think that was his name) called and came within in a hour in response to frozen pipes and water in the basement. He did a quick scan of the pipes and realized the water was coming from my neighbors. He went next door to check and they had a major water leak. Because the leak was not within my house, he did not charge for the stop and was even available to answer a question an hour later by phone. Great!!

A water pipe under my house cracked and was gushing water into my back yard and alley (and neighbor's back yard). Aqua responded immediately, whereas Len The Plumber (who I used in the past) said they could not look at it until Sunday the 12th at the earliest. Aqua looked at the leak and turned off the pipe in my basement that fed the cracked pipe. Because this particular pipe goes out the back of my house, no further work was needed immediately. I want to add that my house is a 100 year old Canton row house with pipes having knobs and valves that are almost impossible to turn. To have a local, professional person come to my aid so quickly is beyond comforting. Aqua definitely deserves the ratings and reviews they receive.

At 7:00 a.m. my wife informed me we had no hot water. I called Aqua Plumbing and the woman on the phone said Fred would be calling me back shortly. An hour & a half later Fred called, asked what the problem was and said he "wouldn't be able to make it until sometime in the afternoon." I had still not heard anything by 3:00 p.m. and called another plumbing service who had a technician at my house an hour later. I called Aqua Plumbing to cancel the appointment and the answering service was already on duty. She said she would "try to get a message" out to the technician. Maybe I'm being a bit critical, but I expect more from a 24 hour emergency service company, and found it with a competitor. If you are too busy to make a service call, just say so, rather than leaving the customer waiting.

He said he could be there within 45 minutes and was here sooner. He completed the work promptly and effeciently.

We hired Aqua to repair a toilet mounting which was leaking and had an unstable mount. Aqua came promptly, removed and repaired the mount and floor, then reinstalled the toilet properly using a new mount. We have been very satisfied with their work and have not had any more problems with the toilet.
