This was something of a scam from start to finish; no new toilet should cost $700+ dollars. They were rude and over-priced and now I have to get the toilet installed properly by another plumber.

I was extremely pleased with the prompt service and polite service people in the office and during home visits. I found this company very reliable, unlike some companies Ive used in the past.

I feel that the they should have been prepared, in an 80-year old house, for a toilet flange that might need replacing or repair; they claim that isnt the way they do business, that each incident requires additional money. I overpaid for this and want the toilet installed properly without spending more.

I was very angry and felt that they were trying to take advantage of me. The charge to simply replace a small capacitor was exorbitant. Furthermore, there was no need whatsoever to replace the fan motor, and a professional should have been able to figure this simple problem out. They charge $99 to come to the house and look at the system: I paid that, and said no to the rest. I won't be calling them again.

Cost was much less than W.A. Gambrill ($960) but different brand water heater (I got State from AJ Michaels). AJ Michaels obviously wasn't interested in installing tankless water heater - discouraged it and gave ballpark price of $2800. The main office's reaction to inquiry about tankless water heaters makes me reluctant to use AJ Michaels again. Plumber was very nice. More of a mess was left than I liked, but it didn't take me long to mop up standing water and clean floor.

The employees were all good and the quality of work was good. They are knowledgeable in the latest technologies in air conditioning, more so than most contractors. They were good at not getting in the way when we were around. They told us several weeks in advance the week they would do the work, and that is when the work happened. We wanted to get a new model unit but when they were not able to get that one, we received the previous years fancier model for the same price which actually gives us better units. They have a professional engineer on staff who solved our uneven cooling problem, he is a great asset. My only complaint is they would not write in the cost of drywalling over the duct-work into the original contract. Their carpenter did come out and do the job, but we had to later call them to do it. I think they need to include the drywall as part of their job, but I think this is a service that all A/C companies do not include, so it's a problem they all have.

Receptionist/dispatcher was very friendly and efficient. Called back the morning of the appt to remind me and again a few minutes before the technician arrived to tell me he was on his way. Technician (Doug) arrived at the promised time and was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The A/C required a minor electrical part (capacitor) which he had on the truck. It was replaced and A/C was back in business. The only hiccup was that AJM does not equip their residential crews with extension ladders. Since my A/C unit is on the roof, this caused a minor delay as AJM dispatched another truck with a ladder. This only took about 15 minutes. The lesson is to tell the dispatcher when you call if any special equipment is needed to access your HVAC unit.

AJ Michaels was fabulous. Prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and top quality work. The estimator helped us make decisions about the system, and all of the contractors - ducting, A/C system, and electrical - were great to work with. The only reason I gave a C on price was we were shocked at how much it was going to be... we expected 1/2 that. However, we got 4 quotes, and the two we trusted came in within $400 of each other. We went with AJ Michaels because they could start immediately, and we are very, very happy with the system and their service. We have given them references for other customers as well.

I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY QUICK AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY EXPLAIN THINGS WELL AND GET THE JOB DONE WITH NO PROBLEMS. YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND WE HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES.

YOU CALL THEM UP AND THEY WILL GET SOMEONE OUT TO INSPECT IT FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. TREATED ME GOOD AS A CUSTOMER, AND DID THE CORRECT JOB WITH THE WATER HEATER.

THEY WERE ADEQUATE, PEOPLE SHOULD SHOP AROUND. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME WHICH IS A PLUS, THE WORK WAS PERFORMED IN AN AVERAGE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THIS TYPE OF JOB.

THIS COMPANY DESTROYED MY ENTIRE NEW KITCHEN. THEY ARE INEFFICIENT AND THE PRICE WAS HIGH. THE PIPES EXPLODED AND RUINED ALL MY NEW CABINETS AND KITCHEN. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF SUING.

THEY PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICES. THIS COMPANY CAME OUT AS SOON AS I CALLED and EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR THE REPAIRS WAS ON THEIR TRUCK. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

PLUMBING COMPANY SHOWED UP WHEN SCHEDULED. THEY DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB AND LEFT AREA CLEAN AND NEAT. NEW PIPES WORKED FINE. SERVICE MEN WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

I WAS PLEASED WITH THE RESPONSE THAT I RECEIVED WHEN I MADE THE CALL TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE A PLUMBER COME TO MY HOME. THE PLUMBER QUICKLY FOUND THE PROBLEM.
