The mesh fencing ended up being at least 1 inch higher than the railing. In one corner the heights of the railings did not match each other. The other corner was ok. I complained and they somehow pulled the fencing down. From a distance it looks ok, but up close it matches the railing in some places and in others it is higher than the railing. They were the cheapest of my three bids. I should know to never take the lowest price. They were 5,400, another was 8,800 and the other was 10,000. I thought the last two were ripping me off, but in hindsight, they hopefully would have done a better job.

Abbey Fence was awesome! They were great with scheduling the estimate in install. Professional job that was done in one day. We will be using them for all our deck and fencing needs going forward. Would highly recommend!

Awesome job, Jason was great helping me plan my dog area and he was able to save me money. The 2 installers worked hard the entire time they were here and completed my yard in 1 day. Everything was cleaned up before they left and it looked great 👍

We had a PVC Abbey fence installed about two years ago for $17,000. It looks nice, but that's about where the "good" ends. It can't take medium wind gusts. The panels have blown off my fence no less than 8 times since I've had it. Whenever it's a windy day, I'm filled with anxiety because I'm just waiting for my flimsy fence to explode yet again. The worst part is that the salesman told me it's "designed" to blow apart. Because otherwise, the posts would be compromised. So one day when my "designed to explode" fence actually had the posts snap at the bottom, the salesman said that the winds were just too strong that day. So, not only is my fence designed to blow apart (in order to keep the structural integrity intact), but it must also be designed to have the posts break as well. And of course I had to pay for the posts to be replaced. Garbage company selling a cheap product with terrible customer service. I'd recommend going with anyone else.

We contracted Winkler Deck and Fence to replace 4 gates and perform minor repairs on our existing fence after receiving a referral. The initial engagement with the owner Curt was pleasant, the quote we received was reasonable, and the job started 8 weeks after we signed the contract. Unfortunately, that’s where the good ended… On the day of the job, the crew didn’t let us know they were onsite, which wasn’t a good start. Then after the work was completed they left without notifying us that the job was done nor doing a walkthrough with us. The next day we looked over the work and noticed that two of the installed gates were not level and were substantially tilted to one side. We contacted their office manager, Tammy, who stated that the owner Curt would stop by the following day to review the issues. Curt was a no-show and after following up with Tammy she stated he would stop by the next day instead. He was again a no-show. We once again followed up and asked for a specific day and time that they would come out so that we didn’t have to miss work again and never received a response… The following weekend Curt finally showed up unannounced and without notice and never apologized for the no-shows. He then immediately asked in a defensive tone “What’s your problem with the gates?”. We explained the issue and he tried to blame it on the previous fence builder. We stated that the previous gates were level and installed correctly and he replied “Well then what do you expect, this was a repair job”. Uh ok… I expect properly built and installed gates, per our contract. He finally agreed that one of the gates should be rebuilt after initially denying it had issues and said he would try to reposition the other gate to reduce the slant, but he clearly was not happy about doing the work. Also, after providing feedback on the crew’s disappearing act he stated “We have bigger jobs than this that are more important”. When I stated I couldn’t recommend them to others due to their lack of customer service, he walked off and barked “We have plenty of other work in this area so I’m not worried about it”. Wow… A simple apology would have gone a long way… Ultimately they did fix the gates and followed up to see if we were satisfied. However, based on our overall experience I would not recommend this company due to their lack of basic customer service, lack of basic respect for their customers, and shoddy workmanship. Also, they clearly don’t value smaller jobs, which is a bad move on their part because they lost future business with me as well as my neighbors who asked about my experience.

I’ve never seen someone work as hard and smart as Carlos. I was out of breath watching him work and supervise the project. JP was great with the paperwork and inspection! Abbey Fence is great!

The installers drilled a double hole in my new concrete which the first hole punctured a pvc sump pump connecting pipe that was just installed month ago. Then they put a mountain of concrete to try and cover it up. The installers should have been informed by the sales rep since I specified to drill at least 8 inches away from the corner of the house. They also did not install the extra panel I requested for the gap that was left near the sump pump pipe, between the corner of the house and the post for the driveway gate.
