About us

Abbey Fence & Deck Co., Inc., boasting one of the area’s largest and most versatile facilities, has been serving metropolitan Baltimore with pride for over 50 years. Family owned and operated, our guaranteed workmanship has added distinction – privacy – and security to thousands of homes, businesses, government and industrial sites. Prior to 1985, Abbey Fence Co., Inc. concentrated predominately on residential fencing. In October 1985, Fritz Fence, a well known and respected company in the commercial and industrial market, was acquired. It was a perfect fit and today, Abbey-Fritz Fence remains dedicated to providing quality materials, labor and professional service at competitive prices. Abbey-Fritz Fence is a member in good standing of the American Fence Association and the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. We are extremely proud of our charitable endeavors as well. Materials have been donated to Grant-A-Wish Foundation at Johns Hopkins, the Ronald McDonald House and the Compassion Center in College Park, MD.

Description of Work: They took down my old awful fence and put up a beautiful picket. They were on time, tidy and totally professional. Shout out to Ralph, who was a pleasure to work with and really knows fencing. I am so happy with the whole experience. My neighbors are jealous and want to 're-do their fences with Abbey. I recommend them without hesitation.

Chose to use Long Fence instead.
Description of Work: Came out for an estimate to fence my yard. Long fence offered cedar pickets and came in slightly less expensive after the coupon they were running last fall, so we went with them. Thanks to Abbey for suggesting during the estimate that we place a double gate to allow larger machinery onto the property, however when I mentioned that to Long, they suggested that removable panels would do exactly the same thing, look better on my lot, and cost $200 less, so I was very glad to have their solution as well.

It went great.
Description of Work: Abby Fritz removed an old, broken down fence from my yard, hauled it away and installed a new beautiful wood fence. Brandon was very helpful and knew a lot about his product. The fence only took one day to install and I have been very happy with it ever since.
