It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. They did something that I needed and the price was right.

I like everything about the company. They were very helpful. Anytime I need a question answered they answer well.

It went really well. We are really happy with the outcome, I was amazed that Tony and Ian seemed more like artists because of how careful they were with everything. They had to build from scratch a model for our corner seat and they made sure every seem was covered. I looked at all the grout as well and they did an amazing job. They did it as if it was their own bathroom and I couldn't be happier. I thought the price was a little high but it was well worth it for the quality of the work. Even though they were late a couple of times it really wasnt their fault, something was wrong on the belt way with accidents.

Kris Konstruction did a fantastic job of completing the roof. They were very professional to deal with and helpful with every aspect of the insurance claim. They also did a great job with clean up and post work communication to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would recommend this company to my friends.

Kris Konstruction Design & Build Group was wonderful. The one person who did all of the work just did an amazing job and checked with me throughout the process to make sure everything is going well and the way I wanted to. A couple of things that ended up being changed in the midst of all of these, he was incredibly flexible.

Kris' roofing crew was on-site when promised. Finished the job when promised. Very polite and friendly. Kris worked with me on the vinyl siding to reduce my out of pocket expense. I also appreciated the fact that Kris and his staff dealt directly with the insurance company and was on-site when the insurance adjuster was here. Made my life very easy.

I called Kris Konstruction that next day. All the siding was removed and replaced within 4 days. It looks better then before.

I called to arrange an evaluation of my roof insofar as needed repairs. After a discussion with the secretary,it was determined that I should have a discussion with one of the actual repairmen. Several days later he called, and after our discussion said he would be out the following week on a Tuesday. He was to call me on my cellphone to discuss the needed repairs. Several days later on a Thursday he left a message and indicated he could not determine which house was mine. With this kind of responsiveness and punctuality I chose not to call back.

I found this company on your list and contacted them to do a bathroom remodel. In fact we have two bathrooms that needed remodeling. Called on 5-29-13 and left information for a return call. Call never came. Called back on 6-3-13 and talked with secretary again. Apparently message was lost. Did receive a call back from Christopher Roe who then told me that they don't do business inside the beltway only in suburban areas. I suggested that they place that information on Angies List so that people know ahead of time. Was very disappointed that we were not told that the very first time we called.

The job was done very well. He was very professional.

First, the estimating process was high-tech - all satellite imagery based for roof area, pitch, etc. The estimator, when presenting the estimate in person, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The samples on hand made shingle and color selection easy. All shingles presented were architectural - none of the cheap stuff, but still at a very reasonable price. Even though we have a 1:1 roof pitch (steep - extra work), and a large roof (2400 ft2), and all old shingles had to be torn down, the work was complete in two days. A light rain did not slow down the work. All debris was removed - clean up was excellent. The "finish" of the roof exceeded my expectations - from the clean lines of the edge cuts, to the metal sheathing under the first row of shingles to protect the fascia boards, to the re-use of existing copper flashing when possible, and roof sealing under all flashing. The workers were highly skilled, professional, and polite. They explained what was going on throughout the process. Overall, I'd definitely use them again, and not only for roofing work.

My wife and I were looking to purchase a house, but it was being sold as-is. We put in a contract, but there was a fair amount of work to be done on the house, so we began arranging inspectors and contractors to find the cost of repairs. We left ourselves 3 WEEKS to get the all the inspections and estimates before we had to decide if we could afford all the repairs or to back out of the sale. During week #1 of our 3 weeks, the home inspector came in and, among other issues, noticed some minor impact damage from a fallen tree on the roof of the house. I decided to bring in 3 roofers to get estimates for the repairs. Kris was the second contractor I called. I received the name of Kris Konstruction from a coworker, so I called them up near the end of week #2 after we had received several inspections and estimates for different repairs. I was immediately told that their roofer was out sick so I explained our situation and that we only had 1 more week to get estimates. The receptionist said that the roofer would call me the following day. By 1pm the next day I still hadn't received a call , so I called them back. I was told that the roofer was still out sick but had been given my name and number and that he would call me later that afternoon. The day ended without a return call. I decided not to bother trying to contact them again because I didn't have time to wait around. We still had other inspections and estimates to worry about. Then a day before our week #3 deadline and a few days after my final call to them, the Kris Konstruction's roofer finally called me about the estimate. I was rather annoyed since I had already explained the house situation to the receptionist, and it didn't seem important to them being that the call was so much later than promised. Even so, I heard him out and asked him to go ahead and check the roof and get the estimate. He said he would send over the price that evening via email. Well I didn't receive the price that night. In fact, as I recall, it was several days later after our deadline was past till I finally received the estimate. The price he quoted me was in the middle compared to the other 2 prices I received. Final thoughts: While the employee was friendly and professional over the phone and the price he provided was not astronomical, I would never hire them to do any roofing if they're going to be so unreliable and can't even make phone calls and provide price estimates when they say they will.

This was a sizeable and difficult job. Our roof is about 4,200 sq ft. The roof has numerous sections, most of which have a very steep pitch. Kris Konstruction responded promptly with a price quote and submitted the low bid (out of 4.) The work was done promptly and well. Their workmen were courteous, responsive and very hard working. The work was completed in three days which was faster than most other bidders' estimates. The clean-up job was probably more difficult than most because of having to remove old wooden shingles. When they left, there was no sign that they'd been here except for the beautiful new roof they installed. Based on our experience, I would recommend Kris Konstruction highly.

We liked the sales person that came out. He was very professional and thorough. I went out and visited them also.

I live in a very windy neighborhood and my roof loses many shingles each year. I called Kris Konstruction to come to the house to assess the damage and make any necessary repairs. My roof is about 11 years old, but looks much older as the original builder used very cheap roofing shingles. Don, who was worker sent out by the company arrived on time an assessed the roofing situation. He told me what was damaged and needed to be fixed, and what I was looking at in terms of time and materials. He also told me about problem areas that, while did not need immediate attention, would likely have to repaired down the road. He also confirmed my suspicions about the entire roof and the quality (or lack thereof) of the current shingles. He repaired all the damage that was urgent, and we discussed replacing the entire roof with quality architectural shingles. He is going to work with me to provide my homeowners association with the application materials needed to replace my roof. We will likely repair the roof early next year (as I am in the middle of a master bath remodel, and can only handle 1 major expense right now). I highly recommend this company. They don't try to oversell you anything. They point out what needs to be fixed (urgent), and other problem areas that you should keep an eye on. They also do much more than roof repairs (house additions, kitchen/bath remodels, decks, siding, etc.).

We are very pleased. This company was right on top of everything. I bought a big deal through angies list. I was very pleased that this company was quick to respond to any phone calls and actually called me before I had a chance to call them and set up the initial consultation. Everything went as the Big Deal promised. We had an initial visit to measure the roof and once I had picked the roof color the roofing was ordered and installed. The roofers did a great job. They brought coverings to help protect our landscaping from any falling debris (from the old roof removal) and once the new roof was in place, they cleaned everything up. We are very happy with the new roof and Kris Konstruction, and would definitely hire again.

Purchased Big Deal for Spring Roof Maintenance service. Great price and received prompt response from provider when I called to arrange service. Provider was able to schedule service on a day that I was at work, which was very convenient for me. After completion, they sent me photos of my roof to show me its condition, and provided a detailed invoice. Very polite and professional as well.

After a bathroom rebuild that was fabulous, I went back to Kris Construction for this painting project. They used a subcontractor who did a fantastic job in just two days. They were courteous, professional and very thorough and I would not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend both companies. The quality of the painting was excellent.

I found another company cheaper. Estimate was all I got from this company.

We had 6 estimates for having our 4,000 sq. ft. Roof replaced. While Kris was not the least expensive, in the end my wife and I believe it was nonetheless the best choice. One of the things we were nervous about was the tear off and the amount of nails that would hit the ground. Living on a small horse farm, the last things we needed was nails in the field for the horses to step on or run over by a piece of machinery. Two months later I did finally find ONE nail (sorry Kris). On the day of the job a crew of about 10 hard working men came out by 7:30 but the materials had not yet been delivered. Off I went to work and when I called home to hear how things were going the roof was completely stripped, new paper was down and shingles were going back down. By the end of the day there was just one small section that needed to be finished. During the job I asked the project manager about replacing a bathroom exhaust fan that I hadn't had time to finish and that was taken care of too.

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor. The price was outstanding, the company quickly made contact and provided a thorough and complete estimate. The work was performed on time over two days with excellent clean up of all debris. There was some accidental damage done to siding when a roll of material fell off the roof and broke a piece of siding on a sun-room. This was resolved and handled most professionally, replacing all of the siding on that side of the sun-room so that it would match. I have recommended them to others since then and would use them again for any remodeling needs. Great family owned business with very conscientious employees.

I talked with Kris over the phone several times. They provided a verbal estimate based on a satellite image of my home and were able to determine the square footage and pitch from that image. He provided a full estimate for the overages. All of the extra charges were explained with the deal, I just wasn't ready to spend that much. I asked for a written estimate to be provided but they have not done so yet.

My project started with a coupon from Kris Construction to rebuild my bathroom. I upgraded by replacing the bathtub with a walk in shower, selected a better toilet and exceeded my allowance for tile, having selected a tile that looks like stone. The tile is so attractive that Kris agreed to replace the flooring in my powder room, kitchen and entrance with this tile. This led to rehab of my powder room, removing wallpaper in the kitchen and painting the entire kitchen. Note: this all took place while I was in the hospital undergoing spinal surgery and undergoing months of rehabilitation. My Daughter-in-law was my project manager and has nothing but positive things to say about Kris and his staff. Also, I must mentioned Jason at Ferguson's Plumbing Supply; he was very knowledgable and helpful in selecting the right parts and resolved problems very quickly. I am estatic with the results and the experience with Kris Construction. They are professionals, excellent craftsmen and very flexible. I intend to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a first class contractor.

I was pleased with the work that they did on my roof. It was a pretty big project and thought they handled it in a timely mannor. I would definitely use them again.

It was a little difficult to schedule with Kris Construction, and they couldn't give me specific start dates until the last moment. The person who did the work was skilled and pleasant enough, although he complained about the commute from his home to mine. I am very pleased with how the work turned out.
