Description of Work: I bought a kitchen design deal from Kris Koncstruction, Janice was very friendly on the phone when calling to make appointment. Finished design came a bit later than expected, but it was presented to me a few days after I contacted them. They did a great job in responding to emails quickly, very nice and professional; will use them again.

Description of Work: They did not want to remove the cedar siding which was necessary for a good job. They sent me a neww proposal that charged $8,900.00 just for removing the cedar siding. So, I sent them an email stating I would not be using their services. I think the $5,999 discount was a farce. Als, I paid the $5,999 on my credit card and need a refund.

Description of Work: We had our old bathroom remodeled. Due to a leaky shower and other issues, we weren't sure what we were getting into, but Chris was wonderfully reasonable and was able to help give us a ball park for cost as well as "what if we find this". My family is very happy with our new bathroom. We would highly recommend them and hope to use Kris Konstruction for some other upcoming projects.

Description of Work: Siding and 12 windows - entire home. the siding man - Scott - worked thru some significant challenges with a 140 year old home, as did the window man, Mark. Both took great pride in their work and in our home. A great team - did what they said, cleaned up after themselves and we like te end product a lot.

Description of Work: Came to our home to see our patio area. They then mailed us a very simple diagram of a patio design with an estimate. | |Really nice folks, both onsite and in their office. I guess we just expected more of a diagram/design.

Description of Work: Kris Konstruction remodeled my master bathroom. The first contact with them was in December 2013 when Chris Roe visited my house and we spent about an hour talking about the job. In early January he provided a quote and a detailed list of supplies. I purchased everything myself from Lowe's (except the granite sinktop; I worked with their supplier for that). They started the job the first week of April 2014 and it took about a month. Tony and Jim did the work and it is beautiful. Really well done. They were usually gone by the time I got home every day and everything was always cleaned up. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Kris Konstruction. I plan to use them in the future when it's time to do the kitchen.

Description of Work: KRIS KONSTRUCTION CREATED A WONDERFUL, REMODELED KITCHEN FOR ME. CHRIS, THE KITCHEN DESIGNER WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE DESIGN PROCESS. WADE AND BRIAN PUT IT ALL TOGETHER,WORKING VERY HARD AND SOLVING ISSUES THAT CAME UP DURING RENOVATION. THE ABOVE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE APPLIANCES. THE GRAND TOTAL CAME TO $44,000 FOR THIS FLOOR TO CEILING REDO. MY KITCHEN IS BRIGHT AND SPACIOUS!

Description of Work: Installed complete full bath w/tub to ceiling tiles & tile floor. Really fine 2 man crew w/Tony doing a quality job. Kris Konstruction was quick to send him back in January for slight problem w/the sink fawcet. Quality company, crew & finished product.

Description of Work: Overall, all went well - quality contractor, quality proposal, good meeting. The problem is, the "deal" is a bit misleading in that it doesn't end up at all at $5,999 for "2,000 square feet. My house, 2 floors and about 2,500 SF total, measures roughly 40x40, or 1600 SF at the perimeter. The roof, however, according to Kris, comes in at about 2,600 SF such that the $5,999 deal actually comes in at well over $10,000. So I then made some other contacts and came up with and made a better deal. Please cancel this deal ASAP. Thank you!

Description of Work: The promotion was a bit misleading in saying that the 1700 sq ft of roof shingles would cover many two-story homes completely when the estimated surface area of our typical two story home was almost twice this area. Also, the promotion did not state that the contractor uses a 12% "WASTAGE FACTOR" over the estimated roof area, something other contractors we contacted do not apply. Also, Kris Konstruction applied an extra charge for the "steepness" of our roof, which has a typical pitch. Other contractors we contacted do not apply this charge. Finally, the unit cost per sq ft over the 1700 sq ft promotion price was much higher than other contractors. Overall, this Big Deal was not such a big deal with another Angie's list contractor coming in with a price 25% less than that quoted by Kris Konstruction.

Description of Work: We are very pleased with the results. Tony and Ian were more like artists than workers. The bathroom had to be stripped to bare studs. The tile was put in the shower carefully and neatly instead of just slapping grout on here and there. The shower was made entirely by hand, including a corner seat, for which they took time to hand make the understructure. They went over everything carefully, to make sure it was waterproof. They painted the untiled portion of the bathroom neatly. The bathroom fixtures were well-installed. They were a little late a couple of times, but it wasn't their fault. I would get them again because they went out of their way to do everything as if it was their own bathroom. The price was worth it to get someone who cares about their work. Thank you Tony and Ian for your care and professionalism in building our beautiful new bathroom from scratch!

Description of Work: We had our roof replaced. Excellent job! Fast work and super nice staff. Small issue with my garden being squished by the falling shingles from the existing room, but Kris went out of his way to make sure we were happy! Thanks for a great job and understanding how my garden meant a lot to me.
