After I called, an appointment was scheduled for the next day. The technician was on time, professional, and efficient in completing the spring replacement. He also took the time to lubricate the springs on the other garage door. The price was very reasonable compared to the two other options I called.

It went very well, repair was done fast and serviceman oiled all the parts and the garage door works better now then it did before.

I got a number of proposals for replacing my garage door, and I happened to have set up Matt Sherman’s visit for last. I wanted to talk to several contractors because my low ceiling with little headroom for tracks created problems that could only be addressed with a custom solution. During his visit to my house, he was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations about how to deal with the unique problems of my door installation. Because he was last, he really had to hurry with the proposal before I made my decision. He was the most responsive and the quickest of everyone, going out of his way to get me answers to some of my questions. I liked Matt’s solution and thought he was the best rep whom I dealt with. In the end, I chose a contractor with a somewhat lower quote, but I would have gone with Carl’s Door Service if he had been able to match the price. If you need your garage door replaced, I really recommend that you talk with Matt.

Their pricing was very reasonable. They were very personable. We had an issue with one of the doors not closing all the way and the gentleman came out right away to adjust it. They were very professional.

.Was able to get a prompt appointment. Technician arrived promptly at 8 AM. My son was told that they did not have the replacement springs on the truck and would need to order them. It was suggested that I change my spring system to another a torsion bar system and would be given a price for both. Five days later, and I did not get a call with an estimate to repair my spring system on my garage door. I called to find out what was going on and when I could expect to have my garage door operational. The office staff told me that they were short staffed and were behind and apologized for the delay in returning my call. I was able to get an appointment for that week with a afternoon window 1-3pm. I was told the technician would call when they were finished the job before mine. We did not receive the call, and the crew arrived at 3pm. The 2 technicians were well dressed, polite, and efficient. The job was completed within 30 minutes. I arrived home when the job was finished, and was able to speak to the technicians. I was very pleased with their work and would highly recommend Carl's Door. I did expect my door to be repaired and functional after the first appointment. The delay in calling me with a price for the repair took longer than I expected, thus the and quot;Cand quot; for responsiveness. The and quot;Band quot; in punctually was due to the technicians arriving at the end of the time span for the open appointment time. The cost for the torsion bar system was over $400.00, this was more than I wanted to spend.

They do excellent work and I love dealing with them. They are a little on the higher end and I like having a good job done, so I don't mind paying a little more. I would highly recommend them.

Approximately, five days after the garage door opener was installed, I pushed the switched to raise the door. The garage door opener stopped working because a part was not installed properly which sent a bolt flying across the top of my brand new car (less than 3 weeks old). This was on a Saturday. I called the company and asked for service immediately. Was told no one could help me since all installers were scheduled already for the day. Asked to speak with the owner, was told he was not in. Asked to speak with owner on Monday and was told I would receive a call. Employee working the phone suggested I make an appt. for Tuesday since it was the first appt. available. I did. On Monday, never received the requested telephone call. On Tuesday, person arrives to and quot;fixand quot; garage door opener. Upon review it was determine a part was not installed correctly. (No kidding!) Person said and quot;these things happen!and quot; Excuse me, this is your job. Person fixes it. I then mentioned I was disappointed the owner did not even call me to discuss the damage to my car. At this point, the person tells me he is the owner. I show him the scratch. He promptly spits on his hand and tries to wipe the scratch off. I asked him what he was going to do about it. Told me to take it someplace and get an estimate to buff it out. Thankfully, the dealership that I purchased the car from, buffed out the scratch for free. I guess what made me mad was the cavalier attitude of the and quot;ownerand quot;. No apology for the poor install job, no apology to me for taking more time off from work to accommodate his schedule, and certainly, no apology for the time I spent running to the dealership to take care of the scratch that was caused by Carl's Door Service sloppy install job. You would have thought that Carl's Door Service would have offered me a $25 to $50 refund for all the inconvenience they caused me. It's funny, I even told the owner I gave the initial install guy a glowing review on Angie's List. And, I told him I guess I would have to go back and edit my review. He just did not care.

Was browsing for a garage door service in Angie's website and reading over the reviews of some companies. Finally read Carl's Door Service which has some notable reviews. Called the company and luckily enough Melissa (they) have an opening within the day (Friday) Service personnel arrived in my house brought in his ladder and assess the issue in my garage door. Soon enough he removed both broken spring and other one. Installed new pair of springs. Checked the balance of the garage door after the new spring was installed. Ensuring garage door can be open/closed and opened it midway. Afterwhich the garage doors sensors are re=attached to the rails and oiled all of the moving parts. Test opening/closing my garage door and alas working very smoothly and quietly. Appreciate the service of gentleman Mike, he is knowledgeable of what he is doing. He works very systematically and works fast. Finished the job in an hour. Even provided me a bulb replacement for my garage door. Would definitely recommend both the company Carl's Door Service and gentleman Mike. Joseph

They were recommended by a contractor as well as good reviews on Angie's list. I am very satisfied.

The experience was great. I would recommend Carl's Door Service to anyone wanting new garage doors or garage door openers. I really appreciate the fact that the repairman did not speak down to me and took the time to show me the actual damage. I also liked that he took the time to explain the new features of the garage door opener instead of just handing me the operations manual.

Carls was able to fixed it and get it working again for less thatn 100. No hiccups whatsoever!

They are outstanding. The gentlemen that comes out to do the work is very precise. They really have your best interest at heart. They are extremely competent, helpful and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone needing doors installed. I would score them a ten out of ten!

The representative was prompt for the appointment and listened to what type of garage door I needed. He was very information and took his time to describe what needed to be done. A contract was left with me in case I wanted to use their company. He knew I was getting additional quotes. The door came in within the timeline and the crew of two were very prompt and did an excellent job in installing the door. They took their time in showing me how to use the door and where to lubricate with WD40 when needed. The quote was a little higher than the other two quotes but you get what you pay for. I am very satisfied with the door. My only complaint would be the companies representative gave me his email if I had any additional questions and when I wrote him, he never responded ,therefore the B in responsiveness.

Had called Carl's Door service based on angies list reviews when our garge door started getting stuck going in the close position. We scheduled a date on my intial phone call for them to check it out. Kevin showed up our house during the window the office scheduled for me and unfortunately our door was acting normal the entire time. Kevin was very polite, professional and informed me he could not find anything that was wrong as it was all working. He didn't try to sell me on any non-needed items or extra services. He was about to leave and I asked Kevin to perform a tuneup, mainly to put my mind at ease, and he went ahead and knocked it out then. Will def hire again and recommend to friends for garage door needs.

Two workers, a woman and man, came to my house at the end of the appt. period. They completed the work in an efficient manner, cleaned up. Both were friendly and explained everything they did. I would continue to use this company.

Some initial confusion from the get go. I have a home warranty, but they had issues with that, so we canceled the appointment. But they showed up anyway and fixed my problem. Cost was less than my insurance deductible, so no problem.

This is the second time I have used Carl's Door Service. A few years ago I had a new garage door opener installed for the other door. I was very pleased then and I was pleased again. I like to use local businesses whenever possible. I find this business to be responsive, reliable, and trustworthy. It was not easy to fix up this old door and lock, so I am extra pleased that I can keep my old doors. I will definitely use this business again if needed, and refer others to them if possible.

They are a very old company in my area and they are excellent. They are very experienced and very reasonable. They did my neighbors work too. They show up when they say they are going to and do the work when they say they will.

The new door is insulated steel and even no not a power door it is still so easy to operate. Looks great too!!

Carl's Door Service was called out for an estimate in early April. Our home has a two car stall and a seperate one car stall. The two car had a very old, outdated opener and the one car no opener at all. The technician arrived on schedule for the estimate and spent time learning about what I wanted. During the estimate we discovered that it was Carl's Door Service that installed the doors on our garages! The estimate was very fair and included all the new parts, the installation and disposal of the old opener. I called back a few weeks later to accept and our service was schedule for just 4 days later. Again the tech was right on time and finished up everything in about 2.5 hours. We have two brand new belt driven LiftMasters. Perfect service and top notch install!
