The technician, Jeremy was prompt, courteous and professional. He had my garage door problems fixed and was on his way in under an hour. The price was fair, and the work appears to be excellent. YAY!

Spring on the garage door had broken. Carl's replaced the spring with a more powerful spring that makes opening the door even easier (when it is being opened by hand). They arrived on time, did the job quickly and for a very reasonable price.

Rusty and a helper arrived on time. We inspected the new door prior to beginning the work to ensure it was exactly as ordered and it was. The job went as planned and ran about nine hours start to finish. The Provia fiberglass door is a high quality door and I would recommend to anyone. The finished job on the exterior met my expectations, however, the interior, not so much. There was some damage to the wall which I will repair and the caulking of the replaced door trim was only fair. I will correct this also. The ladies in the office are nice and easy to work with. Overall I am happy with the results and aesthetically it is what I was looking for. This is the second time Carl's has worked on my home and will certainly consider them for future needs.

Great. Called up to make an appointment. After describing the problem, the person on the phone offered a quick suggestion which worked. Honest company that is focused on helping customers more than making money off of them. Customer for life.

They charged less than the quote over the phone. They are incredible, they worked fast and showed up exactly when they were scheduled to.

They are great, honest, wonderful people. I've used them for about 10 years and can't say enough good things about them. I really like they are a family run business, especially since I am a woman and a senior citizen.

We were extremely satisfied with the service from Carl's door service. Since the spring broke, we were unable to even manually open the door. I called on a Monday and was offered an appointment the next day, but chose to have them come out later in the week. We were given a 1-4 pm,window and Mike showed up at 230. He had all the parts needed, not only replaced the spring, but adjusted the setting on the garage door opener so it's performing better than ever. And, he also educated us on how to maintain the door/tracks. Our only regret is that we should have called them sooner. What we had though was the garage door opener acting up over the past couple of years was actually the door spring needing replacement. It wasn't until the spring broke that we called. We could have avoided all the times of resetting the door opener if we had the spring replaced sooner. Thank you!

My family has used Carl's for maintenance on our garage doors for almost 30 years and have always appreciated their honesty and professionalism. We wanted to replace our front door and were looking for quotes when we realized Carl's does that too! Based on the quality and options we were choosing for the door, they gave a reasonable quote. Their honesty and frank explanations of the options were valuable as well. The same people who measured our door frame also were the ones who installed it. Their work was quick and neat.

The repairman was excellent. He took the time to explain everything to me. When I called to make the appointment and explained the problem they tried to help me solve it over the phone to avoid the expense of them coming out. I thought that ws really nice ad helpful. Although I needed them to come anyway they came the same day. I would definitely recommend doing business with them and will use tem again in the future.

It was a busy morning since I had two other contractors working on the house when he arrived, but he just went right to work. He replaced both sensors and attached them more securely in place so they wouldn't get easily knocked off track again. He also replaced the socket inside the opener so that the light comes on again. I frankly, was surprised by how fast he got it done and how inexpensive the fix was. Very pleased to have it all done!

Kevin was very prompt, got to work immediately and repaired the door and had it working smoothly in no time. I would definitely use this company again, as I am very happy with the results.

They installed 2 new Amarr Stafford garage doors and a Liftmaster 3290 electric garage opener in my home garage in July of 2013 this cost $1,900. They did an excellent job and everything worked beautifully until recently. The 10 month old garage opener was occasionally not closing properly. So I called Carl's and set up an appointment. Kevin arrived a few minutes early. He made an adjustment to the roller track.and the optical eye. He sprayed some WD40 to the rollers and checked to make certain everything was operating properly. Kevin checked my older Liftmaster which, Carl's installed several years ago and, is still working perfectly. Both openers are as quiet as ever! He pleasantly verified that all my remotes worked and answered all my questions. He was very professional, jovial and a pleasure to work with, like all the other folks from Carl's. I recommend this company!

We have used this company in the past in 2011 for cleaning tracks, replacing belts and springs. When the wiring and connector on one of of sensors kept coming lose they came out after scheduling an appointment. The tech explained the issue is the older way the photocells have plugs (we have an old model door) they can come lose over time and then he put in one that connects the wiring permanently to the sensor. Took about 20 minutes or less, price is average in line with what it cost for other service calls plus repair for minor problems like this. Easy to make appointments, techs are professional and courteous.

Went well. Checked it many times. Was satisfied with everything. Have a warrenty also.

I was interested in a very beautiful (more expensive) set of doors, which they could have sold me and said nothing about. However, after pointing out that they weren't really suited for the brick rancher style of house, they suggested a less expensive design which looks even better with a rancher than the doors they replaced. Also, they noticed a dent in one door after putting it up (I didn't until they showed it to me), and replaced the door for no extra cost. Would definitely use again.

I called Carls Door Service, and they sent a technician out the next morning. He explained the problem and gave me my options. I felt he was very honest and didn't try to sell me something that wasn't needed. I will be calling them to replace the garage door this spring.

Told me the hinges on my front door were wearing and it is a warrantee issue with the manufacturer. | |Note: Carls Door Service did not install the door. They told me what the problem was and how to get it corrected under warrantee for no charge.

Weather was bad in the morning, so will forgive them for being late -- really, better to be safe! Technician explained everything that needed to be done, gave an estimated time to complete. Was impressed with the amount of work that actually needed to be done, made this even more a value. Was also impressed with the tech's attention to detail as he made sure that everything functioned properly AND looked good (no sloppy wiring, etc.). Once install was done, he explained how to operate, cleaned up and left.

This is my first great experience with an Angie's List provider. Carl's Door Service is an exceptional family owned entity. My garage door spring broke last night. I called Carl's this morning. The woman who answered was as pleasant and professional as she could be. She checked the schedule and asked if I was flexible today. I said, and quot;and quot;Yes.and quot; Two professionals from Carl's came to my home this afternoon and took care of my problem lickity split! In today's world it's rare to find a company that a customer can speak of so highly. Well, Carl's Door Service is the one. Thank you so very much.....
