Appt was scheduled for 1630, and Jim arrived early. very nice gentleman, very professional and explained things in ways that was easy to understand. The inspection took nearly 4 hours to complete, as he was very thorough. Received the report this morning, so very fast turn around time. 40 pages of information to go through, lot of pictures and descriptions, very easy to follow and understand. Lot of work went into the inspection itself and also the report, you can tell this is a gentleman that takes pride in his work. We have no issues recommending this company to family and friends and to those looking for a quality home inspector. I have used other Home inspectors over the years, but the details they provided us in those cases was not even in the same league. Can't recommend this company enough.

Mitch was amazing. If you want a quality home inspection, he is definitely the one to go to. He arrived early and was very polite. When he began inspecting the home, he was very thorough and spent almost an hour walking around the house before we made it to the crawlspace. When he went in the craw space, he combed over ever inch of the place and actually found termite damage that previous inspectors missed. This house was a foreclosure and was inspected not once, but twice already this year and neither inspector found this (or multiple other issues). The problem area was on the far end of the crawlspace, so I don't know if the other inspectors were just lazy and didn't look as hard or what, but Mitch's help saved me from buying a house with termite damage. That was the major problem that we found with the house, but he also will find 99.9% of any other problems. We thought we were buying a turn-key, great condition house, and he ended up giving us a 38 page inspection report documenting all of the issues. Now some of these issues are minor, and were not a major deal to us, but after speaking to construction professionals, we found out we would have to put almost $30,000 into a house we expected to only invest about $10,000 in. By the time the inspection was completed, it took a little over 4 hours (2000 SF house, but in 1999). One of my favorite things about him is that he would educate me on any issues he found, I actually learned a great deal about homes through this process. I highly recommend Mitch to anyone that might be looking for a home inspector, and I will definitely use him again myself. Thanks for saving me from making a terrible investment Mitch!

My fiance and I are very pleased with the home inspection and termite report we received from Mitchell Home Inspection. They saved us from buying a potential money pit. They are professional and easy going. We will definitely use them again for our next property. If you are anywhere in the Annapolis, or Anne Arundel County of Maryland or surrounding area, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am a first-time homebuyer so I completely didnt know what to look. But I have to say, Mitch did an amazing job. The seller was told my agent that my house was top of the line and had no issues. Seller also didn't want to budgebudge on the sale price. I can honestly say that about time Mitch got finished inspecting our home. I wass able to negotiate a better deal than what I was teying to get in the beginning when i first put my fiest offer in. Hands down, I was recommend Mitch to any and everyone.
