It was great to see a professional at work. Mitch was efficient, thorough and took his time to explain areas of concern during the house inspection. His report was emailed within 24 hours on both occasions and was detailed, clear with highlighted areas in red, with a Red summary on page 1. Where anything needed work or to be replaced, a guide or suggestion was included. I was impressed on the first house inspection, so used Mitch for the second house inspection. Very trustworthy and good value.

Mitch is very knowledgeable and does a thorough job. He inspected the interior and exterior of my home. He explained everything in his report and offered helpful suggestions and insight. He is easy to work with and has a lot of experience. My husband and I highly recommend Mitch.

Mitchell Home Inspections provided the most thorough home inspection I've ever had. Nothing went unnoticed. We followed the guys around for much of the inspection, and they took time to explain what they were looking at and why the items they noted as being in need of attention were important. I sure learned a lot about how a boiler and heating system work — especially vital when looking to buy an older house! The inspection report, which we received within a day, was super-organized and included photos with arrows and recommendations we really need. We could not be more pleased with the service and depth of knowledge shown during the entire inspection. Mitch, Jim, and Nick are awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mitchell Home Inspections to anyone I know.

Our family has been looking for a house to buy this fall. After using a not-so-great home inspector, we knew we needed a second opinion. So we did our research and found Mitch's company based on his team's experience and credentials, particularly in electrical and general construction. Cliff is professional and did a great job on our first inspection (a 70s rancher), so we hired him again for a second (an 80s rancher). His inspections were thorough, detailed, and easy to understand. We learned a lot that our other inspector missed, ranging from safety hazards to longer-term issues. Both Mitch and Cliff are knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions -- and I'm very detail oriented. We will be able to use the inspection report to organize our repairs and improvements. Highly recommended!

The inspection went very well. The inspector (Cliff) arrived a few minutes early. Started in the exterior & carried on. Clear explanations were offered on every system or point of inspection. The attention to detail was obvious and very much appreciated. The inspector's demeanor was professional, responsive, & friendly. Finally, the report was delivered when promised (early the next morning). Clearly someone had to work on it on Friday evening. I am very happy with every aspect of the service. Thank you Cliff.

Jim Mullins did the home inspection for my condo back in September 2020. I’m ashamed to say that I did not get around to posting a review even though he did a good job. Fast forward 8 or 9 months to June 2021 when I’m having water intrusion during heavy rain. Having difficulty getting straight answers as regards to the cause, I remembered Mitch’s offer to contact him with follow up contractor questions at the time of my home inspection. I reached out to him, he was very helpful over the phone and offered to send Jim out the following day. Jim was very thorough in point outing and explaining the issue. He took pictures and offered to write up a report to send to my condo association without me asking for it and for no additional charge! I would definitely recommend and/or use this business again!

Was very thorough and explained things as he went along. Also offered solutions for repairs, some which were very simple. Did not rush through the job. The report sent is the most thorough report with photos pointing out potential problems and corrections that need to be made. I definitely recommend

My inspector was Jim. He was extremely patient, friendly, and punctual. I proposed some questions and concerns that I had initially prior to the inspection and at the conclusion of the inspection, I felt good and knowledgeable about my home.

I sent a text to Mitch late on Thanksgiving eve. Mitch responded early in the following morning and was available for the inspection the following day at my requested time despite this being the Thanksgiving weekend. Mitch arrived with his assistant on time and spent three full hours for all the inspections requested. He was professional and polite. He pulled me a few times during the inspection, showed what he found and explained in detail what could be the potential issues in the future. He covered everything that I wanted to focus on including Roof, Deck, Windows, HVAC, Mold, Termite, Radon and the overall house. I also received the general report and Radon report quickly and on time. I would recommend Mitch to any one who wants to have a thorough inspection of the house. He has good knowledge and experience and gives you an honest opinion of the house. His report also includes the details along with all the pictures and recommendations which will help you make a final decision.

Mitch's team goes above and beyond what is expected. Not only did they perform a comprehensive inspection, they took the time to explain the issues well and remained available when I had additional questions several days later. Really nice persons to work with.

Mitch was fantastic! He met me at the property of a house I was under contract to purchase and started right away with the inspection. He was so thorough and his attention to detail was amazing to watch. He called me over and showed me, in great detail, the things that were wrong and needed attention. He found things that most people don’t even look for. Thankfully we did not buy the house because of his honest assessment and report (and extensive structural issues of the house and other damage). I contacted Mitchell Home Inspections due to a positive referral from a friend. The inspector (Cliff) arrived early and was very knowledgeable and polite. He did a really thorough inspection and the report was well written with many pictures, notes, and findings. One of the most important things he did was to inform me that he observed radon mitigation systems on the surrounding homes. Based on this, I requested that he perform the radon test and we discovered that our home had a very high radon level. If he did not mention that, my family would be putting ourselves at risk for lung cancer (due to radon) without even knowing it. Now we have the mitigation system in place so we can sleep well and safe. THANK YOU CLIFF!!

I was able to schedule an appointment within the same week. Cliff was very knowledgeable and thorough. He took time to explain things and even offered suggestions how to mitigate. HIGHLY recommended!
