They did an excellent job but they were expensive.

If it was not for Wayne's due diligence I would still be suffering with all the particulates in the house.

The technician, Ash, figured out what we need to do to turn on the furnace. He was very knowledgable, polite and helpful. We plan to get a new unit and will hire Heidler to install.

A really worthwhile experience with a Heidler plumber who was professional, courteous and who really had an understanding of the the chronic plumbing issues associated with our neighborhood (well water - high iron content). No attempt was made to sell products or services - just a straight forward evaluation of our situation, our needs and possible future requirements. A real delight - recommend without qualification.

Excellent installation, left site spotless, improved routing of pipes. Chuck has repaired other problems in our home and his work is superb. Heidler is the ONLY plumbers we would ever use.

Was promised a service call for the afternoon, but technician Bruce called me only an hour after I had called them, and said he was on his way. He was very professional, from his uniform to his actions, and took care of the problem immediately.

Josh was very professional and arrived soon after i called the main office before 8:00 am on a Monday morning. He reviewed the situation and told me that it would be $79 plus the cost of the job. He went out to the truck and contacted the main office and came back to the house a very short time later and provided a fixed price to correct the problem in it's entirety. He also mentioned a coupon which i had already printed. The actual work was completed within an hour or so with no delays. I am thrilled that he was able to complete the work, test the lines within 2 hours of the call to the office reporting the problem. I have used Heidler before and had great service then. The price was very reasonable, fabulous if you will, given the situation that i had no running water in the house and that they completed the repairs within 2 hours of the original call. I will be calling them again when I have the need.

After 2 years of not being able to figure out what was causing my natural gas pool heater to intermittently create a gas odor, having the utility company out multiple times, having multiple pool service providers out multiple times, and never getting an answer, I stumbled upon (thanks to Angie's list) Heidler Inc., saw good reviews, and checked their website to confirm that they were able to service pool heater issues. Calling in the issue and getting someone scheduled was easy (we had to schedule the appointment several days out because they are a company that's in demand and the knowledgeable person helping on the phone said she wanted to make sure an expert level plumber came out for the appointment), and the service call was fantastic, yielding a diagnosis of the problem. This comes after having other plumbing service providers that advertise on television or through local mailers being complete no-shows and who I now suspect would not have had the skill and knowledge to be able to address / diagnose the issue. I was planning to replace my heater unit in any event, and as a problem with the unit itself was identified as the likely issue (as opposed to the gas line), I simply proceeded with that replacement and everything appears to be working fine. Nonetheless, Heidler has provided a written estimate for a proposed modification to my gas line in the event that everything isn't working perfectly with the new unit - but no hard sell. As a pretty tough-to-please homeowner, I would highly recommend Heidler.

They were good all around. They came in and explained everything. They fixed it. They cleaned everything out for us and made it work better so I guess quality, communication and professionalism were all very good. It was all A's. They communicated well. I think he even put some covers on to walk in the house. He was courteous. I would use them again.

We originally contacted Heidler earlier in the year to obtain information on various options to replace our hot water heater. They came to our home and provided us with detailed information on both conventional and tankless options. They also thoroughly explained their company's process including how the installation would be done, extended warranties and maintenance agreements.They also gave us websites where we could review the various makes and models of hot water heaters in more detail. We decided on the 75 gallon hot water heater. We called to place our request and the installation was accomplished a few days later. Everything went very smoothly. The technician was professional and friendly and site clean up was top notch.

On the Saturday before Easter, we had to turn the water off all day because there was no other way to stop the leak. The wonderful plumber arrived at 9 PM after working since 7:30 AM. He repaired the leak and was gone by 9:30. I was so grateful to have a company that would respond when others would not. Heidler will be our only plumber in the future, and we have some major work planned.

Mike arrived on time. He was very personable. He brought his tools in and started the job. The heater needed to be vented to the outside so we discussed the best route for the pipes. He was thoughtful and considerate not only of how I used my basement but what I might do in the future. I checked on his progress during the day. He kept me informed of everything he was doing. He finished on time and completely cleaned up. It is wonderful to deal with a contractor who is knowledgeable, thorough and completes the job on time. All for a good price. Highly recommended.

This is the 2nd time using these guys ... they are wonderful. This work was actually done for my elderly neighbor. She had no water for 3 days before she called. They spent 3+ hours under the house (all wet and muddy) until they got her up and running. They are professional and gave her a senior discount. The technicians arrived right on time, friendly, courteous, and professional. Mike reviewed what was to be done during this visit. They worked expeditiously and completed the job in about 4 hours. Once done, I was shown the new fittings they had installed and explained their function and how they fit into the plan for the upcoming HW heater/boiler installation. Mike also verified that all the faucets in the house were clear of any debris that may be released by the old galvanized pipes during their removal. They removed all the old materials. The basement was left in a state where, if you did not see the new fixtures, you would not even know they had been down there doing work today. Overall great plumbing experience.

The technician was on time, courteous, efficient. He cleaned all three fireplaces of grit, dust, etc. and replaced batteries for controls and got the pilot lights to function correctly. He always covered boots with covers and placed covers on the floor near the fireplaces to catch the dirt. After cleaning, etc. he cleaned up the area around the fireplace. When he returned a week later, the installation of the fireplace hood was done quickly and works as recommended.

My gas fireplace hasn't worked in 2 years. Last winter I placed a "heavy" electric heater in front of it which is crazy and I didn't want to repeat this year. I called Heidler based on Angie Reviews and also a positive comment apart from that. When I called I was offered an appointment within a few days, which surprised me because I thought I might have to wait weeks considering the season. The technician, Will, came within the scheduled time and was very personable, explaining what he was doing and answering questions. I thought it could be defective parts but it turns out it just needed a good cleaning. He also lite the pilot of a 2nd gas fireplace and provided an overview of it's operation without a remote as a courtesy. It's always great to see someone that truly knows their business performing their service. Needless to say I will be contacting Heidler's for my fireplace maintenance in the future.

Tim from Heidler did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem we were having with backed up toilet in the house. He excavated the septic tank, cleaned out pipe to house, installed new clean out and baffle. We now have 3 clean out places, one for the tank, one for the pipe to the house, and one for the drain field. With these additions it will be much easier to clean anything out in the future. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and does great work. He also filled everything back in and put down straw and seeds. I was impressed that he was able to get Beall and Sons Septic to come out and clean out the tank while it was still open. This made it much easier to clean out the large build up in the tank that the previous septic company left behind in the tank.

Great! Our unit's pilot went out and we couldn't turn the gas off completely with the wall valve. Heidler was the only provider who was able to send someone out the same afternoon. They were more responsive due to the concern over the gas leakage. The tech, Will, was very informative and efficient.

Great service as usual. Technician was knowledgeable and helpful. Truly professional.
