Overall, so far, it went fine. He was later than anticipated in arriving but had called to let us know he would be late. The gentleman was very professional and pleasant. He explained in detail everything he had done, what needed to be done, etc. The outside fire pit logs were not inoperable as it turned out - this was a case of "operator error" on our part. However, having it cleaned was a good idea - and I knew from the beginning what the charge would be for this. He also told me some things about the inside fireplace operation that I didn't know. With the jacuzzi tub, he tried to fix the problem but this turned out to be stripped screws - even though the tub is only 4.5 yrs old and had been fixed by the builder (which is probably when the screws were stripped). We don't use it that often and this shouldh't have happened already but it did. He told us that we had a couple of choices and gave us reasons behind these , what he would do, and discussed all this again with my husband so he could make an educated choice. My husband chose to order the parts which we are waiting for.

Heidler was our plumber of choice from 1997, when we bought our house, until we moved, 13 years later. Their service was exemplary - punctual, professional, and ALWAYS finding the source of a problem. The installation of the waterless hot water heater took exactly as long as had been estimated, and cost exactly what the estimate read. It will save us money in electricity and water bills. We would recommend them to anyone needing a plumber and would gladly use their services again.

After he fixed the valves, he checked if there were any other problems I had had that I hadn't specifically called about, and fixed the slow-filling toilet. Prices seemed reasonable; discount on 2nd valve. Also offered a maintenance contract that gave 15% off of all services, including the ones already performed; the 15% saved paid for 50% of the contract that day. Plumber was very polite, even offered to remove his shoes when he realized I had wooden floors. Very pleased.

I received a call approx. 20 mins before the serviceperson arrived , to let me know he was on the way. He arrived on time. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me, and made sure several times that the unit was working and that I was satisifed with the work, before he left. The cost was reasonable-and much better then what we had been told previously. We will use this company again for any repairs, and for a yearly cleaning, and will recommend them to others .

Both service requests went fairly well although I thought the kitchen sink work was too expensive. Heidler tends to charge a bit more than some other companies I've used. Both times I had the same plumber and that's really the key, this guy "Chuck" is good but I've found that the work varies depending on who is sent to do the job. Unblocking the sewage line also went well and the price was fair because it was an emergency request on a weekend when our line started to back up. Chuck worked for quite some time getting everything straightened out; I assisted him in fixing the connection in our front yard even though it was getting dark and pouring rain. Chuck never complained and was focused on doing a quality job in spite of less than ideal conditions.

Very professional. Arrived on time, assessed problem, quoted price and repaired immediately.

They were on time. Not only that, but their office called 10 minutes before they got there to say they were on their way. When they pulled into my driveway, they called the office to report they were here. Very polite and they liked talking about plumbing.

Had to pay full visit fee for 15 minute call and a "we dont' do work on these". Very friendly and professional

Appointment date was timely. Tech arrived on time. Estimated what had to be done when he arrived. Turned out he couldn't just tighten the pipe that had a small leak. Instead, he said it had to be replaced. Thus, cost more that I anticipated. I got a call from the office on the day after service asking if everything went ok & was I please with the work performed.

My experience with them for this work was fine. We had issues with them on previous calls, but not on this one. Their service was at times excellent and at times very poor. They came quickly and the price was reasonable, but the service was all over the place. Some of the technicians that came out were excellent and some were not good at all. We went with someone else.

They are really professional and are very careful. They explain what they do and give good estimates. They are not as cheap as some other companies, but I don?t even bother shopping for prices any more. I just call them for any plumbing work that I have. I used their services for the first time many years ago. I had a hose faucet in the back yard which was leaking. I couldn?t figure out as to how to make it stop leaking. I didn?t know as to how to fix it in order to replace the washer. So the plumber from Heidler came out and showed me the faucet which was really old. It couldn?t be reused and they had to wind something around the faucet to fix it. There was no way in the world that I could have figured that out. They always clean up after themselves. I then had them replace my bathroom sink since the whole drain fell apart. They had to put in a whole bunch of parts because my house is 40 years old and it was built using the cheapest possible materials. They had to do several things including connecting the drain in a different way through a hole. I also had them come and fix a leaking toilet and the plumber worked on it for at least an hour. He fixed a system that still kind of works. I would also like to have them back to put in new toilets and wash basins in both my bathrooms. I am thinking of calling them to see if there is a tax rebate to install a tankless water heater. I have recommended them highly to a number of people. I also recommended them in my church when there was a water heater problem.

Steve Heidler was here less than a week after my husband's first call, to give an estimate on replacing our hot water heater and look at the location of the current one to see about removal. I asked if my husband had considered a waterless on-demand heater, and when the reply was negative, I asked for information. It sounded fabulous: about 2.5 times as much as the estimate for the tank type, but we will probably get a $900 rebate on our taxes for this year, and will save enough on water, electricity and gas over the next 2-3 years so that the HWH would pay for itself. It has a 30 year warranty, turns itself off if so much as a drop starts to leak. It's about the size of a carry-on suitcase. Steve and Shawn, the servicemen, worked from 9:15 AM TO 4:15 PM on the installation. When finished, they showed me every single valve in the system, and we labeled them. They showed me how to raise or lower the water temperature on the digital gauge. We went outside and looked at the air intake and output tubes. The men had a shop vac and left the furnace/water heater area immaculately clean. They were polite and professional throughout, explained when I had questions, and wore "booties" so as not to dirty the stair carpet. The HWH worked perfectly on the first day, and provides all the water we need for showers, clothes and dish washing. I have no idea why anyone would ever want the old kind of heater again!

We bought a new home from Porten Homes. The original plumbing was done by Ben Lewis plumbing. Heidler has repaired both the leak mentioned above and another one in a drain pipe under the kitchen sink. They are very responsive and professional. I would highly recommend them.

I've used them in the past and I like them. They are very, very nice, prompt and professional people. Their prices weren't incredible, it was the same as any other plumber but their service was great.

They have always done very good job. They are professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work is very good and I have been satisfied with their service.

Overall it went well. The company sent someone out very quickly. Because of the nature of this sort of plumbing problem, it is difficult to find where in the yard the condensate line ends. We were warned by the plumber that he might not be able to locate the end of the line that evening. Thankfully, my husband was home and was able to hear the line and spot where it ended and this was near the house. Not sure this would have worked without my husband there but the plumber was then able to finish the emergency repair. Good news! I was very happy that the company sent someone out at 8:30 at night. All worked out well and I thought the price was very reasonable for an emergency call.

I was not satisfied with him. Sometimes he sent people who knew what they were doing and other times he sent people who didn?t know much about plumbing at all. We had to have them come back because their initial work was not done satisfactorily. We had a maintenance contract with them for the faucet and so they did come immediately within 8 hours or less. That was an advantage, but once they got here they did not do a good job.

I had gotten estimates from several other companies but Heidler was the only one to actually give me a complete estimate for the entire project including not only framing and building the wall but optionally painting and tiling around the fireplace as well. They did an excellent job from start to finish.
