It began to rain shortly after their arrival. As the rain intensity increased, I provided tarps to keep the work area as dry as possible. In an effort to help the newly poured concrete firm-up, they began using powered, hydraulic cement?.lots of hydraulic cement. When done, they had sealed the removable drain grates in their holding troughs. This was not a problem until a very heavy rainstorm in Jan/Feb, during which the drain and sump pump failed to properly function. It took me approximately 2.5 hours, in the rain, to scrape and chisel the dried hydraulic cement from the drain grates to gain access to the troughs to clean them?.they contained approximately 1/3 of a bucket of excess gravel, concrete, and hydraulic cement from the initial installation. During the removal process, I broke one of the grates. I also found some of the same residue in the sump that was affecting the pump. After the installation, I was told a technician would inspect the job on Friday, November 25, 2011. That visit never happened. I phoned Heidler after my clean-up effort to inquire about a replacement for the broken grate. The receptionist said someone would call back. That call-back never happened. In addition, I still have several hours work cleaning and grinding lots of concrete residue left behind from the installation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After communications were re-established, a follow-up visit was made by the Heidler staff on 3/15/2012. All outstanding issues were resolved in a professional manner. Ratings have been adjusted accordingly. Look forward to doing business with them in the future.

The overall experience, from negotiating price & scheduling the appointment, to work completion was very satisfying. The office and service staff were very pleasant & professional. The bathroom looks great! Excellent service, excellent quality, great staff!

There is nothing that I didn’t like. I liked everything they did. They did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone. He is the only one I would use in future.

Discovered our water heater had a leak @ 4AM. Called Heidler Inc around 10AM they had someone out here within a couple of hours. The guys they sent out were knowledgeable, friendly, fast and did an amazing job. They replaced the water heater and valve above on the hot water line. The job came in at less than I expected, they explained everything to me very clearly and left the place cleaner than they found it. Will be using this company again. Very pleased.

I called the company in hopes of a same day appointment. Thankfully I was given a same day appt. Received a call from the company 1/2 hour before tech showed up to let me know he was on his way. Tech showed up during the window promised. He was polite, friendly, and professional in action and appearance. The work was performed in an efficient manner, and the tech cleaned up when he was done. Before the tech left he performed a test 3 times to assure himself and me that the drain was working properly. I paid the bill to the tech, then he was on his way to his next job. I really appreciated the availability of the payment options: credit card, cash, or check.

called heilder after being tired of dealing with a different plumbing/fireplace company, and they provided a lower cost, faster response, and much better service. will use again for any plumbing of fireplace problems in the future. they're also really cheery when they answer the phone!

Other companies told me that I would need a plumbler and an electrician on the same day they would install the fireplace. And I would have to pay them each for their time. Steve gave us an estimate for all parts of the installation process that was well lower than the other estimates. The technicians were polite, good with our dogs and finished in the time quoted, 6 hours. We love our new fireplace and will consider using Heidler for future plumbing needs.

Heidler came in with the lowest estimate and did a great job. They arrived as scheduled and continued until finished. The only hold up was that they ran out of pipe but that was only because the job went more quickly than they anticipated. They planned on a two day job but could have just barely finished in one day if they had brought the extra pipe. Instead they returned promptly the next morning and finished the job by noon.

The water heater started leaking on Saturday night near 10pm. I called their emergency number and a plumber called me back in 30 mintues. He advised me I can shut off the water and gas. He offered to come out, but I declined. They were very professional and courteous. I was very happy with their services. I have used their services twice now.

We called Heidler on Wednesday and were able to get an appointment on Thursday between 10 am and noon. Josh arrived at about 10:20 am and was very friendly and professional. He didn't have all of the necessary supplies on the truck, but he was back within minutes to finish the work. Everything was completed to our satisfaction and we would definitely call them again!

Quick service with plenty of communication ahead of, during, and after the job. I am very impressed with the service provided, and plan to call them out to do the plumbing on the next phase of my plumbing project.

Heildler did a fantastic job overall. Called ahead to notify they were coming, very friendly serviceman, extremely cautious not to track dirt around the house. Provided an upfront price to do the job, so no guess work. Completed the job quickly and he left the work area cleaner than when he started.

Was able to get a service call the next day, timely arrival with a call to let us know he was on the way. Trouble shoot problem with faucet, when using the diverter for shower, the valve for the hot water was stripped. This was the original fixture (over 20 years old) and plumber was not able to match for a part replacement, the entire cartridge/unit had to be replaced. Although the expense was more than anticipated, the plumber, Chris, was professional and pleasant, explained what he had to do, cleaned up everything and we had a hot shower in about 4 hours.

The plumber, Chuck, arrived on time, gave me an estimate before starting the work, and did a great job. I was originally going to have just the faucet and drain pipe replaced, but Chuck found two small holes in the old sink so I decided to have it replaced as well. It took about five hours to complete the work with Chuck only leaving once for a short time to get the new sink. Chuck was very courteous, professional and did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done. I intend to use Heidler again.

We had a bad first experience with them - dealing with a disposal. But they tried to correct it with a waiver of fee for a next call. So we thought we would try them again when our toilets weren't working. Actually they wouldn't stop working - they were running all the time. This time was so different from the first that I wanted to give them another rating. He was friendly. He did the work well and even explained some of the workings in case we wanted to try a fix on our own before calling them. He had the items that were needed in his truck - no waiting - and replaced them quickly. Very impressed this time!

When I called that morning, the scheduler said they could get a crew out that morning. They came to the house in good time. The plumbers were very friendly and informative. They did their work expeditiously and explained what they did and why. The charge, while not cheap, seemed fair for the amount of time and work they performed. They actually found that the lever controlling the bathtub drain was not set properly and was actually partially block the drain. So when he removed the offending lever, the drain worked perfectly. They did not charge me for this work, for which I am grateful. So overall I thought they did a very good job.

They were on time. They had little bootees on their feet and they covered everything around the fire place before they began. He was very honest and told me that he has never worked on the kind I have. He said that they are basically the same but this one is little bit different. I offered them the book that came with it. He did say that he would make sure all that is all fed into the computer so that in the future it would help anyone who came to service it. They were great. They were just one man and he was training someone else. They offered a special price. Even though I had made the appointment it was half that month where the special was. He gave the price anyway. Though I don’t remember the price it was cheaper than the others. I would use them in the future.

It was a pleasure dealing with Heidler. They were courteous and responsive on the phone and the technician who did the initial evaluation came to the house quickly. A follow-up visit was done a couple of days later to provide a detailed estimate of the work, and the work was done a few days after that. Although they had to use a small backhoe (starting at the house) to dig down to the water main to find the leak, they did a pretty good job at repairing the damage to my lawn and landscaping. It wasn't perfect...they're not landscapers!...but it was nothing more than a little topsoil and grass seed couldn't repair. The quote was for $3,250, but they ended up doing the work for $1,685 because they didn't have to go under my driveway or sidewalk to repair or replace the water main. I highly recommend them.

Smooth. Scheduled visit for next day. Plumber gave us price prior to starting work. Finished in less than 2 hours. Cleaned up after himself.

I was told ahead of time that a service call would be $69. That was OK with me. But evidently that's just to park in the driveway. He came in and said "disposals shouldn't be put in houses - they don't work" then charged us $133. He said that that is the least he could charge for a call. So - actually coming into the house with "advice" cost another $64.

The big win was the careful explanation of what the service technician was doing as he did it. He made sense of an otherwise complicated situation.
