Description of Work: They did a very good job. They had to get more tile and had great attitude throughout the whole process.

Description of Work: Installed 3 sliding glass doors. The contractor made the installation on the agreed upon date. Old doors hauled away and site cleaned up nicely. Doors look very good and operate smoothly. I would consider using them again should I have a need.

Description of Work: Back Splash for my kitchen. Since I purchased my own tile, I was supposed to get a refund, but I asked if they could fix my sliding glass door screen and lock and they did that instead.

The price was excellent, the people were courteous, and the work was reasonable. They were helpful and showed a genuine interest in earning a good customer relation with me. The problem was with the punctuality and responsiveness. The work did not start more than a month after I purchased the deal in Angie's list. That too after a couple of phone calls and requests to schedule my work. Apparently, too many Angies' List customers overwhelmed the service provider. The person who was assigned to do the work was friendly and professional. However, the work dragged on for over two and a half weeks and numerous rescheduling. In that period the workman sometimes became in-responsive to my calls. It affected my work as I tried to stay home while the work was being done. To be fair, the workman had some unexpected family issues. If the work was done in a proper time-frame and with due wait-periods for the tiles to properly settle-in, the quality of the work (especially in one of two bathrooms) would have been much better.

Description of Work: Removed old patio door and replaced with a new, high quality door. Added interior ranch molding around door. Door glides easily with a push of a finger. Has a very sturdy integrated keyed lock. A very nice product and a well done job.

Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal for $1499 for 34 square feet of granite countertop.Glenn came over to discuss the work and set up a contract and final price. After the contract was prepared we traveled to Bel Aire Granite to select our granite among the available colors, had additional square footage installed, had an upgrade to edging included at no charge, changed our sink, and had a new faucet installed. The old countertops were hauled away. Overall we are very happy with our new countertops.

Description of Work: DL arranged for Bel Air Marble and Granite to make and install the countertops. We visited their show room and warehouse and selected the slab of granite we wanted. Bel Air Marble and Granite made and installed the tops. They are beautiful. We made a separate contract with DL to replace the old backsplash. It all looks fabulous. |The cost of service above is only for the Angie's list deal price for the countertops.

Description of Work: I purchased one of the deals for $349- this was to get me 40 sq. ft. of ceramic tile for floor or backsplash. When the assessor came out to measure, I was told that I- like so many others- failed to read the fine print about the size of the tile to be provided (which was too big for a backsplash). The size tile used in backsplashes is smaller and therefore more labor intensive (to the tune of adding $750 to the job). I was given the option of getting my money back but I was also told that even with paying this I was getting the job done for less that its usual cost. Despite the feeling in my gut that I was involved in a 'bait-and-switch'- I did need and want the work done and since this was a provider on the list, I went ahead. I signed this contract on March 4. Subsequent to that, I had several phone contacts with the actual installer who was always busy with jobs and since this was a busy time for me also, I was fine with waiting until his work load eased up. In mid-April, I had a medical evaluation and had surgery on May 5. There was no contact with the company (not that I could have done anything if there had been)-until I was called at the end of May to schedule for June 6. On June 5, I had heard no confirmation and had to call them. I was told it wasn't clear they had the all the materials in place and would call me later that day to confirm. I received no call. I called them the morning of June 6 and was told they would be there by noon (they were). |The good news is that the backsplash is excellent. Their work is first rate. So the bottom line is if you can tolerate the 'hit-or-miss' customer responsiveness, you can end up with work that will satisfy you. It seems that there is no central office and all customer contact is through the one supervisor who is in the field- he is often on a job working when you try to call him. It is a family-owned business, they seem to be craftsmen and nice guys but their customer service truly needs work.

Description of Work: they installed subway backsplash in the kitchen. the gentleman was very professional and very efficient at conducting the job.actually they were excited when they saw my tiles because it just wasn't one color I had added red tiles here and there in the backsplash.I had plays Texas on the wall where I wanted the red tiles but to be sure that I was happy with the installation they ask me every once in awhile when they were ready to set it is this where I wanted it placed which I really like that feature.

Description of Work: The work that has been done is good quality. However, here it is May 2014, and the job still isn't complete. I have called numerous times, but no return call by 'Rick'. I will more than likely have to hire another company to complete the job. Very disappointed in this company. My kitchen backsplash is still not complete after almost two months.

Description of Work: D L Siding ended up removing all the old countertops and fixing the plumbing in preparation for the install from another vendor for the granite countertops/decanter granite countertops. the next day D L Siding came back and hooked up all the plumbing to the new sink that I purchased. I was very pleased with the whole process. Rick from D L Siding called me immediately after I had purchased the big deal and then kept me informed as to when they would be able to do the job so they're customer service was great. They had difficulty installing the ring sterling the plumbing but other guy got it. Sometimes he said the sinks can be a little bit tricky, also when they were taking out the old countertop in disabling the plumbing luckily they were there because my shot himself did not work and I ended up needing the new one that could have happened at any time which would have been a real mess said they were quickly able to shut off my water clean up my floor and get everything back to working order.

Description of Work: The contractor put new windows in my house. He took out the old ones and put in brand new ones. He had to put new wood in places where the old wood hand rotted out.

Description of Work: I used DL Siding And Construction for an addition. Put an addition of bedroom addition on a second floor split foyer. They also moved the bath from one side to another and enlarge it into 8x10 bath.

Description of Work: Response time was very quick. Estimate same day. Work started within 2 weeks after contract was signed and continued for approximately 4 weeks. Kitchen counter tops, floor, back splash. Front porch over hang and new cement porch and steps. Master bathroom shower and tile floor. 15 X 20 Trax deck.

Description of Work: Replaced front entry door and sidelights; removed old door.
