Terminix - Woburn -Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: I had a service contract with Terminix. They would drop over about 4 times a year (excluding the winter months) to check the termite baiting stations. When they were here, they were very professional and curtious. However, every time they scheduled a visit, I would re-schedule it for a time when I would be home. They NEVER came out at that time, but would instead drop over whenever they felt like it. I was very annoyed by this. I got the contract because they have a great guarantee, to repair any structural damage from termites, while the contract was in effect.

Description of Work: Outside periphery, basement and any areas we requested.

Description of Work: I pay about $250 per year for three or four visits per year to service 29 termite traps. I have not used them for chemical injections or spraying for other pests since I can do that myself. I have had a contract with them since 1998. Occasionally, the technicians try to cut corners and not check all the traps, but when I complain, I usually get some concessions or repeat service trips. At least the traps have kept the termites at bay after I experienced them in 1998.

In recent years, Gregory has been the agent providing their services, interior for moths and mice, exterior for carpenter ants, etc. He has been responsive, is knowledgable and very helpful when special attention is needed.

Description of Work: Ongoing service. Applied dust to foundation to prevent insect intrusion. Checked for any issues inside house. No issues. Polite, on time. Went well. Have used Terminix for many years with good results.

Description of Work: They check the basement for any signs of life. Sometimes they find a dead mouse that has gotten into our 101 year old house. Spring, summer, and fall they check outside the house for ants and spray at the foundation. Our present service man is fine and willing to answer any questions.

Description of Work: They spray for ants and set traps for mice. The service technician, Carlo, is absolutely first rate. Very professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and personable. Their administrative staff doesn't know which end is up. Carlo and I have a recurring time for our appointment, which he never misses. But I always get an email from their office, confirming that an upcoming treatment is on a different day and time than we plan. Therefore, the service gets an A+, but their administrative staff gets a C; therefore, an overall grade of B

I contracted them for many years, and they only reported termites once, maybe twice, and it was always a minimal amount of activity. So, I decided I no longer need the service.

Description of Work: At this point in time the provide termite checking around the property. The actual original treatment was performed in 1988. Since then they provide annual checks and will retreat if needed.

Description of Work: regular annual termite inspection -- conveniently scheduled & performed (as in several previous years) -- we're sticking with them, just to ensure long-range protection from termites (which afflicted a neighbor of ours big-time: his case -- fully covered by Terminix for 10's of 1000's of $$! -- was what convinced us to sign on for this service with Terminix). We do wish it cost less, but.......sigh
