Description of Work: We were having our house painted. While scraping the house, the painter discovered that carpenter ants had taken over a huge section of our house. I went to Angie's List and found Terminex. It was such a great response. Terminex offered to come on the day that I called and I set it up. Then we decided that it would be better the next day while the painters were there. Terminex completely changed everything to accommodate us and came the next day. Communication was amazing. It was 100% a positive experience.

Description of Work: Called Terminix for carpenter ants control and found some foraging activities by termites far in the yard. Took on 2 yr plan but had to negotiate hard to get a competitive rate.

Description of Work: Pest control treatment for bugs. I never have any bugs in my home and if I did after an app they will come back out again at no additional cost and spray again. My parents used Terminix while I was younger and I now use them and we all have been happy with their service. I recommend them.

Description of Work: Pest service. This company offers online scheduling but will change your time and/ or date without asking you or notifying you. Terrible customer service! The people who come out to service the house are generally very nice. It's to bad they are greeted by unhappy customers who expected them to show hours earlier! I would not recommend them for this reason only! If you want a company that honors your scheduled appointment, use someone else!

Description of Work: I used them both for general pest control and for termite control. The termite control was excellent, punctual, and reasonably priced. The general pest control was great at first, later on I found that it was not as effective as I would have liked and I switched providers. I have been very happy with that new provide.

 + -1 moreWE HAVE SPECIFIC QUARTERLY DATES, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO COME AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY DO NOT SHOW UP OR CALL ON THOSE DATES. THEY CONSTANTLY RESCHEDULE. THE SERVICE ITSELF IS EFFECTIVE WHEN YOU GET IT.
Description of Work: OVERALL PEST CONTROL INDOORS & OUT. QUARTERLY SERVICE AS WELL AS ANYTIME NEED IN BETWEEN.

 + -1 moreI WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH TERMINIX. I THINK THE SERVICE IS A BIT OVERPRICED BUT RELATIVE TO THE OTHERS IT IS INLINE. THE SALESMAN AND THE SERVICEMAN WERE BOTH VERY PROMPT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.
Description of Work: I CALLED THEM TO TREAT MY HOUSE FOR TERMITES. THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE AND EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENT OPTIONS I HAD AVAILABLE. BASED ON THE RESEARCH I HAD DONE, THE SALESMAN RON, WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING IN GREAT DETAIL. I HAD A COUPLE OTHER ESTIMATES FROM COMPETING FIRMS BUT FELT TERMINIX WAS MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT MY PROBLEM. I HAD THEM INSTALL THE BAITING SYSTEM VERSUS THE CHEMICAL SPRAY. BOTH APPLICATIONS WERE THE SAME PRICE INITITIALLY BUT DIFFERED IN THE SUBSEQUENT YEARLY APPLICATIONS. BAITING IS MORE EXPENSIVE GOING FORWARD.

 + -1 moreTHEIR SERVICE AGREEMENTS ARE SELF-EXTENDING, AND EVEN THOUGH I CALLED TO CANCEL MY SERVICE BEFORE THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL, THEY CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SERVICE AND BILL ME FOR IT AFTER MY CONTRACT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELED. THE WOBURN OFFICE DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE ITS CUSTOMER SERVICE SYSTEM WORKING VERY WELL.
