Good work the guys did and very pleasant to have around.

There are important things all consumers of network need to understand: 1: they send a sales guy to talk to you initially, not an expert on installation. 2: they don’t send experts who are knowledgeable about doing the work until the day of. 3: They use tactics in their sales pitch that are easily manipulative and misleading! Initially we talked to the salesman to get our quote. They went through a whole PowerPoint slide about their company, boasting and basically wasting our time with the companies info for 1 hour and 40 min. They say if anything comes up as they are working on your project they will take care of it. (Remember the last sentence before this for later) so we are told it’s going to be discounted if we chose to go with the project today. Basically a high pressure sales pitch. So we wait up to 2 months and a half to get a date where we can have the project done. During this whole time, as stated before, they do not end any professional who would be knowledgeable about the work beforehand during this time. The day they arrive to do the job, they say the floor isn’t leveled. This was a true statement, however you would think hey it’s ok, they found something and should cover it as they do their work. NOPE!!! Remember, they will fix it as they are working on it!!! They instead take a few pictures, sit in their car for about an hour and then I get a phone call from a receptionist saying they won’t do the work until I level the floor. They could have had someone inspect the area before hand to warn me, or stuck to their promise but no, they use the loop hole of saying that they will fix anything that comes up while they are physically working, so instead they refuse to work unless I fix it first. Stick with me, it gets worse. One of the things that made me choose this company was that they initially told me it would definitely be done in a day. (Spoiler alert, the salesman does blatantly lie and say this and it won’t happen) so I suck it up, call someone the same day they refused to start and get someone to fully gut out the flooring and make it prestine all that same day. I called new pro back, sent pictures and they agreed to come back in 4 days to do the work. Then when they come back, they kept going back and forth on removing a wall or not to put my shower in when this is something they should have known for a long time. They come in, took a look, and went to their call for an hour. I get a call from the same receptionist as before and they say, we won’t replace on of the ceiling tiles and also we won’t paint your wall we need to install when we put in your shower. Tell me, why the **** am I paying 13,000 dollars for? Literally they can spare replacing a single ceiling tile, putting in the shower, and painting the wall they replace. It makes absolutely no sense to me why the **** im paying them 13,000 dollars for this service. Now here’s the kicker too. I am a veteran, and the initial salesman tried to play on this by saying we value our servicemembers and do absolutely whatever we can to make the experience easy on them. I asked the salesman about the tile on the ceiling, the wall that would have to be replaced, the fact that if it was removed it should be repainted by new pro. All these things he said ups be covered and are not!!! Do not trust new pro. All you will get is a salesman who promises you things, workers who literally tell you the salesman is incompetent, and a receptionist who has an attitude with you because you are concerned about your living space and want to ensure it will be ok. I can’t stress this enough, do not go to new pro, other people will value you as a customer so much more, give you a greater price, and will be very grateful for your bussiness.

Made an appointment for a quotation for Vinyl Siding. Phone scheduler said it would take about 40 minutes and we would have a quote good for one year. Person was at our home, for 1 hour 40 minutes, received a quote for Composite Siding (not vinyl as asked) and it was 3x times more expensive than two other quotes we received. He said the quote was good for one month, but if we "decided tonight" we could "Save" $ 3,000. At the end the Sales person said "I come out here to make money, do you want to do this or not". I respectfully asked to discuss the quote with my wife and let them know later this week. He said "you have already decided" and left. Previously in the discussion I had requested he email me the quote and email the pictures we went through during the one hour and 40 minutes. I have not received anything. Typical Bait and Switch, high pressure sales pitch. I would not recommend.

The installation went smoothly. The installer was very knowledgeable, took the time to answer questions and accommodated any requests we asked for.

I setup an appointment, day before they called me to confirm. No one ended showing up. Manager called me back to reschedule. Day before the second appointment they called to confirm. Again - no one showed. Their help desk said a manager would call me, I never got a call. Total bummer.

Dave did an excellent job. Worked hard, very professional, neat and clean.

This is a follow-up to my original complaint: I appreciated the VP of Operations contacting me to find out what the communication problems were and to straighten things out. Apparetly the company has had much more business this fall than it expected so communication is one of the things that got dropped. The new windows are now in and they look beautiful - much better than the rest of my windows. Eventually I'd like to replace all my windows and I would definitely recommend NEWPRO. The installer took his time and made sure everything was done correctly and even washed the windows before he left.

Awful. Worst company I have ever worked with. We agreed to pay 36,000 which was double other companies because they gave us all kind of promises about customer service and quality. Well in a pouring rainstorm, the light fixtures were removed wires left exposed in the storm. None of the seams matched up or were appropriately caulked. Not to mention my husband came home to see a worker standing on the overhang over our front stairs and he jumped down when he came home. The overhang is still crooked as they refused to fix it. In addition my husband came home to find the crew drinking on our property. They put vinyl siding over our dryer vent so fumes were coming into the house and they sided over our hook up for the hose. They promised us a screen door on estimate but conveniently we had to push for that and then they mounted it backwards. There was pushback to every complaint we had every step of the way. The manager promised to come out to house to look at everything askew and lied in text messages about what he saw. Our neighbor witnessed him get out of his car take a pic of front of house and leave but texted us that he went into back yard. They workers took one of our shovels and we never got it back even though we asked. I feel like this list could go on and on and they never once offered us a discount off their ridiculous price. I complained many times before entering this review. They failed to step up. Guess we got taken. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company has never called me to talk about my project. They have added my number to a list and I receive anywhere from 5 to 10 calls a day with hangups when my machine answers. Calls start at 7 am and end around 7 pm. Totally harassing. Angie’s list should remove them.

Not too well. The company confirmed the appointment at 6PM. I waited until 6:30 and called the company. They told me that they had called to reconfirm the time and supposedly left messages. Firstly, I see all of my phone calls and there were no calls from them. Secondly, there were no messages from them. They either forgot, or the designer didn't have it on their schedule. 26 windows and 2 sliding glass doors..... oh well.... other companies want my business

No call. No show. We were scheduled for Saturday at 2. It was the only day that both my husband and I were available, as we both had to be home for the quote according to Newpro. So I moved around my schedule to accommodate such a request. I even hired a babysitter for my 2 children so that we would be available and not distracted during the appointment. 2 came and went. No call. I called, left messages, and even emailed asking what happened. I never heard back from Newpro.

I was not impressed with the sales pitch. It came across like an and old school snake oil pitch. The salesman however was very knowledgeable about the product. I also think he spent too much time on the history and background of the family owned company. I was able to overlook these shortcomings and focus on the quality of the windows. I had a quote from a vinyl window company that came in around $9K, another quote for Pella all wood windows at $17K. I liked the quality of the OKNA all composite windows quoted by Newpro for $14K and have been very happy with my choice. I was on the fence a bit while trying to decide after reading a lot of negative reviews. The owner even called me and personally guaranteed the quality, install, and warranty service of the windows - some may call that a high pressure sale but I was happy that the owner was willing to personally stand behind his product and it helped me choose them for the work. These windows are solid and they're surprisingly hefty. On the day of the install, a couple of the windows couldn't be installed. One didn't have the correct set of parts, and the other had some shipping damage, though fairly insignificant, it still required replacement. The installers did a super job. They replaced a few rotted sills and did an expert job putting in the windows and sealing them up. The two replacement windows arrived in a timely manner and were also installed. Recently the catch (small metal tabs) snapped on two of the windows - maybe due to the temperature extremes, but Newpro responded quickly and fixed them in just a couple days. Overall, I'm very happy with the product. These windows are high quality, priced well, and come with great service. If the sales pitch met modern standards, I would have given them an "A".

The work was done in one day! The did a great job and cleaned up after.

We signed the contract with them and they promised to get the job done within 4 weeks. I explicitly suggested them to check with town's requirement before starting the project, and the salesman agreed on that. However, the salesman took our deposit and they never call the building department. After 8 WEEKS of pushing them to check with building department, they finally showed up at our house for installation. But the contractor has no idea what the permit required(architect drawing & work proposal), they just claim themselves only doing plumbing work. In the end, we still have deal with the permitting issue and started searching for architect by ourselves. It is so much pain to deal with building permit, and Newpro sent us a letter claiming that they finished the project and want the permit back! THEY THREAT TO SUE US because of they cannot complete the project and submit the permit. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY, and be cautious of their talkactive salesman's promise.

We were highly satisfied with them. ?They were very prompt. ?They did it quickly. ?Results were good.

Our shower was installed on Wednesday. The shower head came with a broken piece. We have sent at least 10 emails and had 3 phone conversations. The new part is not here nor do we have a date of when it will be here. The shower seat was installed at an angle causing puddling. The shower wall and base colors do not look like what we picked. We have made additional phone calls and emails that we are not pleased with the color and want it changed. We have heard nothing. Beyond disappointed! If anyone in corporate reads this, please reach out.

They did a good job on the windows. They came on time and they were efficient. They were a little high on the price but they did a good job.

Newpro staff are very professional they were right on schedule with measuring for the windows, scheduling of installation and showed up on the day scheduled. I'm very impressed with the scheduling and promptness of the newpro team. The installation crew was outstanding, Greg who was in charge was excellent, on task, organized and knew what he was doing. Both crew members Dave and Steve were great. They cleaned up and were respectful of my home and very responsive to my questions. Overall a very good home improvement experience and I have done a lot of home improvement projects over the years. The windows look beautiful.

The doors are lousy. They were fine in punctuality. First of all, they don't show you the doors. I had two doors put on my back a screen door and an regular, and it cost the same price, The doors are better quality. When they put it in, it wasn't put in right. Somebody else had to come in and fix it. They made an appointment, and they messed that up. I wouldn't use them again.

the replacement went according to sales pitch on time and completed in one day. I am very pleased with the product and the installation.

The whole project from sales to finish went better than expected.

The negotiating tactics are... they basically won't let go, once they have you. We basically had to negotiate with them 4 or 5 times basically to get the price we wanted. We wouldn't use them again, I can tell you that.

They did a fantastic job. They did the whole bathroom in one day. I gave them a B only because the feedback/scheduling was a little messed up. Other than that, their workmanship was excellent. The price might be a little on the high side.

Do not let this company into your home unless you have done some research on roofing products and prices. We were in the process of getting 3 quotes to replace our roof. The first quote for a Certainteed brand roof system came in at $6400. I found Newpro through BJs where they market themselves and offer a $500 discount. Compared with the previous roofing contractor, this company sent 2 people, insisted that both my husband and I were both home at the time, and then proceeded to give us an hour long lecture on how fantastic their company was, all the while saying how bad 95% on the other roofers out there are, before getting to the roofing product and roofing system, GAF, is comparable to Certainteed, based on some research that I did after they left, and of good quality. My major issue with this company is that finally after 1.5h they got the the pricing. They offered us a price of $14,000 guaranteed for a year, and a 30 day price of $12,000, both significantly higher than the other quote we received. They also offered a $10,000 price if we went with them right then and there, I.e., without a formal quote, contract terms, opportunity to research their company and business practices. When we said we would not be taking their offer right then and there, they basically said ok then we won't both to send you a formal quote since it's a waste of their time. What makes it cheaper today than next month or in 6 months time we have no idea, but their approach is to scare you into thinking that all other roofing contractors are ripping you off and they won't. While there may be an element of truth in that, it's a pretty sleazy tactic. In any case, we will continue to get recommendations from friends and Angie's list in future. BTW they have a C grade on Angie's list (not A+ as they claimed!

I had 18 windows installed in one day by a NewPro crew. They removed all 18 windows and installed new windows on three floors of my home. I was very pleased because from the outside and inside they looked great, were easy to operate and were very energy efficient. My heating bill was reduced by $25 per month during winter months. I was most pleased because I could wash them very quickly without disassembly.
