Good sized job completed in 5 days. Much faster than I anticipated. Tino is great and his crew is excellent. Final product is outstanding!

Bonanno Construction was on time, started early in the morning and cleaned the site every day. In addition to that, they communicated and were professional. All questions were resolved. We liked the quality of the work. We have an old house and they assessed and communicated any problems we might run into ahead of time.

My neighbor referred me to Bonanno Construction, as I needed to build a small stonewall in the back of my home and also install a new paver apron along the front of the garage. I am quite pleased with the workmanship, and the new wall and the paver apron make my property look even better than it did originally! Additionally, Bonanno Construction is very professional to work with. Tino, my point-of-contact, kept an open line of communication with me at all times and was highly responsive to any questions or requests that I had. His team also provided an excellent level of service from beginning-to-end; they arrived at my home on time, they got right to work, and they completed both jobs in just three business days! Bonanno Construction is a top-notch and very talented company, and I plan to use them again for future home-related projects.

My front steps where slowly falling apart and looked terrible. I contacted Bonanno Construction to quote me and ask for some much needed help. They promptly came out to my house, listened to my needs, and even gave me suggestions without trying to persuade me in anyway. They were professional and made me feel at ease throughout the whole project. My stairs came out amazing; I get so many compliments and I am thrilled with the work that these guys did for me. Thank you again to the entire crew for all of your hard work.

We felt that the project went extremely well. We have worked with Tino and Bonanno Construction in the past and they excel at what they do. The team arrived on-time each day and was quickly at work to get things going. Tino clearly communicated his plan for the project but was also very flexible in coordinating the schedule to meet our needs (i.e. checking to see which side of house we wanted to start with, coordinating around window installation, etc.). The quality of work is exceptional as it has been working with Bonanno Construction in the past. From the neatness of the way the work was conduct to the thoughtful selection and layout of stones, we are very happy with the result. It is the highest quality of work and those who have seen the result commonly make the same observation. We would not consider using anyone else for our masonry needs.

We had Bonanno construction come in to replace our front staircase with front porch space. we were not sure how we wanted the end result to look but they helped us every step of the way. we started with 5 simple steps and wound up with a beautiful outdoor living space. What we were most impressed with is the size of the crew they brought. a job that we thought would be weeks was over in a matter of days. Nobody likes to live through construction. all the guys were respectful and polite also they were able to match brick from the side of the house that was 40 years old. There craft has been handed down from father to sons over many generations and it shows Thank you so much to Tino and Bobby I look forward to using you guys on my next Project.

This job went amazing (as expected, we've worked with Bobby before!) Bobby is our #1 go to for home projects. We had crumbling front stairs and a crumbling retaining wall, we did 3 bids with contractors for repairs. While the other contractors we talked to gave us quotes (and not cheap ones) for quick-fix patch work that would have a limited lifetime, for a very reasonable rate Bobby completely redesigned our walls / walkway / stairs that makes our every day life easier. He has a very creative mind, takes a look at how you use your space and comes up with fantastic ideas - he noticed that our walkway paths were really inefficient and for me struggling to wrangle 2 small children designed a plan to shorten my walk and get me in the house more quickly as well as safely. He was also very conscious of our design aesthetic and made sure that the design fit the scale and style of the home, and gave us great options to choose from in terms of the types / colors / placement of the stones. The highlight of this job was the accent space he added to the front corner of the wall, which is a perfect spot to put our house number and some seasonal plantings. Our house looked so blah before and now it looks beautiful and in the 2 weeks since the job's been completed we've had no less than a dozen neighbors stop by and compliment the work and some have even asked for Bobby's number :) The value we got from the work he did is incredible - I looked through the quotes we got for the short-term patchwork repair and we only ended up spending a small percentage more for a completely redesigned front yard, improved access to our house, and high-quality materials. I also just want to mention that Bobby's crew are extremely polite and considerate; they cleaned up after themselves every evening and were courteous throughout the job and respectful of our property. Since our front steps were gone for a few days during the job we had no mailbox, and they worked with the mail carrier without us even asking to make a new route for him to drop off our mail and packages safely. We first learned about Bobby when he rebuilt a neighbor's basement that had collapsed at our old house. Not only was the work he did beautiful, but we passed by his crew every morning and their courteousness and attention to cleaning up the job site every night and not encroaching on our property stood out amongst other neighbors' contractors that we had to deal with. We then hired them to fix up our basement, which had been impacted by a monster ailanthus tree (80' high, 5' wide, penetrated our basement wall and grew roots up into it.) He completely redid the basement of our 1840's cottage, evened out the floor and dug out the basement so the ceiling height was even adding knee walls and rebar for support, cleaned up the fieldstone and parged / waterproofed it, added an interior drainage system with a sump hook up, and built a beautiful staircase so we had exterior access into the basement. I know this isn't common in real estate, but the basement was so clean and beautiful afterwards, it really helped us sell the house when we ended up having to relocate. We're really looking forward to our next project with Bobby! (Note: attached photo doesn't show full extent of work, the only one I have handy right now, I'll add more later)

The work that was done is fantastic. I am so happy with the results. The retaining walls look brand new and the new steps from the driveway leading up to the front door and the walkway itself look amazing. We also had new front steps put in. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Bob Bonnano and his crew. He called me back right away and the job started promptly.

Bobby and Tino and their team were totally professional from start to finish and we were delighted with the quality of the work they performed. Their design idea's and implementation were equally matched and really gave us confidence in what was a pretty big project for us. They made sure that they delivered a finished job that really complimented our home and that we can enjoy for many years to come. We would highly recommend this family owned company.

Tino and his crew are the absolute BEST. If you have any need for masonry work, do not look any further than this team of workers. They are fast, responsive, affordable, and most importantly the work is top notch and stunning. They did the entire job in less than 4 days time. They even worked on a Saturday to catch up, since they did push their start date out by a little bit due to a delay. Not a big deal for us, and certainly nice to have progress made through the weekend. Every detail was attended to. Nothing left undone. They clean up impeccably after each day of work. Years ago we had them build a retainer wall in our backyard and the work was equally well done, and in a timely manner. Tino even thought to suggest a conduit to run beneath the driveway, so that we could run electrical through it, for a plug for my husbands hybrid electric car. We never would've thought of this and it saved us a huge headache for when the time comes to install that outlet!

Tino was knowledgable, friendly and gave a very good price for the work to be done. We fully planned to have his company do the work and I am certain that we would have been quite satisfied with the outcome. Later on we realized that the work really needed to be done within the context of a larger landscaping project we were planning, so we needed to cancel the job one week before it was due to start. We moved as fast as we could to let him know we were cancelling, since it was so close to work starting. He had already put in the order for the pavers and it was clearly a bit late in the process for us to be cancelling, but he was very polite and professional about it. Bottom line: Based on my experience with Tino I would not hesitate to recommend him and his company. I am certain we would have been happy with the end result had we been able to move ahead with having his team do the project.

Bobby, with his team and partners did an enormous amount of interior and exterior work on our home over a two-year period. They saved us money and time by designing the hardscape improvements and incorporated our idiosyncratic preferences at each step. It's clear that Bobby takes great pride in quality of his work and culture is clear in all of his workers. If something is not perfect they take it apart and do it over. Their designs are beautiful an you never have to worry about cutting corners. Team members arrive on time, work hard and communicate professionally. Would call on them for any important project.

Bobby Bonanno came out and gave us a fair estimate. He said he would be able to do the job in approx. 3 weeks and he did.. He brought a crew of 5 men; they picked up the old pavers, dug down the required amount of depth, placed gravel, sand and weed block and compacted the different layers. Bonanno added new block edgers on both sides of the pavers which was not in the original estimate at no charge. The crew made sure to consult with us when there was design decision to be made, showing us the different options. We are very pleased with how the pavers came out. The front stair repair was not done to our satisfaction. One of the railings was still loose and a crack in the blue stone had not been repaired. I called Bonanno and they came back out the next working day and fixed the problems with the stairs. Overall I was happy with Bonanno service from start to finish.

Spoke with Tino and arranged a date and time for him to come and give me an estimate to replace the front steps. We agreed on a date and time and I re-confirmed before our phone call ended. He never showed up for the estimate nor did he call me. I called him and left a message on his cell phone asking him to call me. He never returned the call. Very unprofessional.

We hired the company to reface our fireplace in June 2014 and were told that they were 6 weeks behind . In mid July I contacted them again and was not that it would be mid September. In Sept, I told them that we were going on vacation on Oct. 11th and was told that it would be done before then. On Oct 5th, when I hadn't heard anything I contacted them again and asked them to have the decency to give me an honest answer. They said they were sorry, but if we could wait they would take something off the price. I agreed. Am still waiting. I emailed them on Feb. 23, 2015 and asked them for feedback and received no response. We have now hired another company. I consider Bonanno Const. to be blatant liars and wonder what kind of work they do. Would not trust them. This is my first use of Angie's list and am not impressed.

Tino is great to work with. He provided a free estimate and when we agreed to his terms promptly scheduled the work. He worked with our local city hall to obtain the construction permits and scheduled the inspections so we would not need to. We expected to be without a garage for several weeks but TIno and his crew completed the job in 5 business days. His crew cleaned up each day and Tino frequently checked in with me via email making it fast and easy to communicate. We have already recommended him to our neighbors and would certainly use his company again.

They did a good job it looked good and, they got it done within the budget

The outcome was perfect. Before the work was started, we spoke about what I wanted, so we knew exactly what I was going to get -- there were no surprises.

Bonanno was a great company to deal with. They worked hard to do the job right and keep me happy. The completed walls should last a good long time. The one exception was a one-week hiatus in the middle of the job because they hadn't gotten a permit for the construction. Although the company believed that a permit was unnecessary, one of my neighbors complained and drew the attention of the city building inspector, who shut the site down. It took a week for them to jump through various bureaucratic hoops and get back to work. I had the flexibility to deal with the delay, but it was a bit aggravating for us (and probably very aggravating for them). I'm guessing they took a risk that usually speeds up the work (no waiting for the inspector) but in this case it backfired. The end results are beautiful, and they put in a number of touches which weren't in the contract but were greatly appreciated. I have more walls that will need TLC in the future, and I'll be calling Bonanno.

Tino came to my house to look at the project, said he would give me an estimate, and never did. I tried to contact him twice, once by e-mail and once by phone, and got no response either time, so I gave up trying. I've heard nothing but good things about his work, but I can't work with someone who won't respond, no matter how good he is.

He came to my house and spoke with my husband. He said he would get back to me and never did. I called him because I did not hear back and he did not return that call either. If he did not want to do the job just say so just dont ignore my call.

Very professional, easy to schedule a time for the estimate. We have not started the work yet.

Two years ago we called upon Bobby's team to help us create an all natural stone patio. Bobby came on time to provide a no-pressure estimate that was well within what other wanted. Once the contract was signed, their team came on time, every time, and provided professional service not only for the patio to be built, but took the time to cover the grass with plywood to prevent ruts caused by their machinery as well as sweeping up after the job everyday. I was shocked a few days before the end of construction when Bobby came to me and reduced the cost of the patio because the job wasn't as big as he had originally estimated. I haven't seen that happen with any of the contractors I have ever dealt with in my lifetime! All the neighbors who have seen the patio always asks us who worked on it. I know of at least one neighbor who even sent their daughter to Bobby and can't stop praising his team's skill and workmanship. Bottom line: Nice, honest people. I won't hesitate to use them again. On time, and courteous. We've not followed through on the project. But I'd recommend them for being on time and providing what looks to be good estimate
