Excellent. No problem for Louie Bonanno. He had all the supports necessary and the experience in using them. Beautiful work, done in one day.

It went well. Mr. Bonanno was responsive, pleasant, and professional.

I called Bonanno Construction and received a call back within 36 hours to meet me for an estimate. Louis came out to the house at my earliest convenience and gave me an estimate on the spot. I called him later in the week to set up a time for them to do the work (the next week). They started around 7:30 A.M. and finished before noon.

The only thing that took us time what picking out what pavers to use. Once we saw some of their work and told them what we wanted, they were there in two days. They finished the work in 1 1/2 days. Other companies were talking about weeks to finish. They come in with a large crew and get the job done. Watching it all was like a scene from the money pit but with a quick and happy ending.

Bobby Bonanno responded to my call promptly, gave me an estimate on the spot for the job and stuck to it. They weren't the cheapest bid, but they were by far the most professional and organized. After we decided to hire Bobby for the job, they moved with incredible speed. Within a week of signing the contract, they started the work. They first supported the garage/addition structure with 30 ton jacks (the garage supported a family room and deck) then demolished the existing wall and dug the new footing. They did all of the digging by hand because of the tight space and still finished it in a day. They completed the entire job in 3.5 days and were very clean and professional. Even though they were not the cheapest, they were definitely the right choice for the job. I would highly recommend Bobby and his company.

We were very pleased with the final product. They really knew their trade. Everything went very well. They were able to complete the project, on and off, in about 5 days. They were very polite. They were quite the conversationalists. We did shop around for price, and no one company was that much better than the next.

A week later Bobby called a couple days ahead and said they would be out to the property in two days. When the crew showed up, they got right to work. They were respectful of the property and hard working. Bobby directed all of the work himself and was on-site the entire time. The crew even went so far as to save a number of hostas I hadn't had the time to remove prior to their arrival, which convinced me we'd hired the right people. When they were finishing up, I asked them to do some additional repointing on the addition (we hired them to repair the retaining wall and the addition) that I felt was lacking. Without question they marched back up the hill to the foundation and fixed it up in about 10 minutes per my request. The entire crew was respectful, and the Bonannos themselves are highly personable. Highly recommended.

I called Bonanno Construction and within 2 days Bob Bonanno came out, inspected the problem area, and gave an estimate for the job. The estimate was lower then the other one already obtained. We set up a day the following week for him to perform the repairs and he followed through with the job. He was on time, neat, and professional. I would hire him again without hesitation.

So knowledgeable and helpful! So nice! Did a great clean up, worked quickly. Pricing was reasonable and worth it. Never lingered around.

The price value was very high. I was surprised on how affordable it was. His team of 5 men tore out the old lentil and cracked brick and mortar and installed new materials adding a granite foundation. All which looked very elegant. His sons were very polite, very helpful and very informative. The work is superior and I would highly recommend Bonanno & sons.

I called and left a message on July 3rd. He called back and came over himself on July 4th to give us a quote. He gave us a quote on the spot. He was friendly and professional. We did not end up going forward with the work, as we're not sure the garage is worth saving. His quote was about $2,000 higher than other quotes we received, but I would call Lou again for future work/estimates.

We'd absolutely hire Louie if the funding hadn't gotten pulled for the job. He was punctual, professional, had great recommendations and a great price.

Not on time for initial appointment, which I could have overlooked. Was nice in person, but never followed up with estimate.

I dealt primarily with Louie Bonanno. He was polite and personable. His English is heavily accented, so you have to listen carefully. However, others in the business are native English speakers, so communication is really not a problem. I am completely ignorant of what needed to be done, but I got two quotes from companies on Angie's list that were within $75 of each other, so I assume the price is reasonable. The work seems to be very well done. It was a half-day project for a crew of 4-5 people. The job was done a few days after I expected, but I wasn't in a rush so the delay was immaterial. One concern is that there was nothing written down. I have a small worry about drainage issues (possibility of water pooling at the bottom of the steps). I spoke to Louie about this. Again, he was very polite but said to wait until it rains to see what happens. If there is pooling, he will ''drill a hole'' for drainage. This is a little too casual for me, but perhaps all will be ok.

I liked the work; they did a pretty good job.

Tino and his crew were punctual, efficient and very competent. The experience began with a visit to discuss our plans and review sample books. We met at the brick yard and could pick out the stone choice first-hand. References checked out well. Price was competitive with other bids. The project took two days as promised. Work was done as promised and finished product was terrific. There were approximately 12-14 men on the job. The premises were left entirely clean. Tino is very personable and helpful throughout. For example, our pool skimmer needed to be raised to accommodate the deck, and we needed a part from the pool serviceman for this. Tino arranged to have the part picked up and was able to install it since the pool serviceman couldn't schedule this in. Also, he offered to take any other brick products lying around to the dump that we didn't need. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and we would highly recommend this company.

The Bonannos (father & sons) were a delight to deal with. There were design changes which they took in stride & became valuable participants in. They came with a large group & did the work in an incredibly short time. They took obvious pride in their work & were extremely helpful. They also were good about cleaning up afterwards. We are very satisfied.

Very fast. Excellent. He did a perfect job. My friends and neighbors say it looks beautiful.

Bobby was on time, easy to reach and happy to come out and speak with me. I feel badly that we weren't able to hire his company and am appreciative of the time and expertise he shared with me. I would recommend him highly.

Called about a mid-range masonry job ($5000) on a Thursday and was told they'd come by to give me an estimate the following Monday or Tuesday. Mid-way through Tuesday afternoon I hadn't heard anything from them and called to see if they were still coming out. When they finally called me back on Friday(!) it was in the form of a message that said they were just returning my call. Needless to say, we gave the business to someone else.

THEY WOULD NOT SUPPLY A WRITTEN ESTIMATE.

Louie came to my house to check out the work to be done and then it took a week or so to get the work scheduled. His crew arrived on time, did an excellent job and left the basement (reasonably) clean. I found the price to be very reasonable for the work performed. Louie reminded me to turn off my outside faucets (which, of course, I forgot to do anyway--please see my related comments on Winter's Plumbing!) The garage walls look like brand-new now.

I CALLED MR. BONANNO ON MONDAY, CALLED ME BACK PROMPTLY, AND WE DISCUSSED THE PROJECT, AND SINCE IT WAS SUCH A SIMPLE JOB HE GAVE ME A FAIR PRICE OVER THE PHONE. I AGREED TO HAVE THE WORK DONE. THE WORK WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT RAINY DAY, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE WEDNESDAY OF THE SAME WEEK I CALLED. THE CREW OF MEN CAME AND MR. BONANNO SUPERVISED LIKE A MAESTRO LEADING AN ORCHESTRA. THE RESULTS ARE EXCELLENT, AND I AM THOROUGHLY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT MR. BANANO DID FOR ME. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL WHO NEED EXPERT WORK DONE.
