Our old sidewalk steps and walkway were made out of concrete and front steps were brick on block. The concrete was severely cracked and chipped and the bricks were falling off. We got 3 quotes to rebuild everything, and Bobby Bonanno was by far the most professional, honest, helpful in terms of design, and the lowest bid. The new design has granite steps and treads, brussells block halves for the walkway and field stone. Bobby is a phenomenal leader for his team - keeping everyone focused, on task, helping where needed. He brought a team of 8-10 which allowed for the project to be completed a day and half early - they completed everything (after demolition) in a day and half. Anything that would make the end product nicer, he did (for no extra cost): removed a nearby frail shrub, rebuilt the facade of our stone foundation, ran a conduit for a future sprinker, etc. He even knew that we would encounter wood rot when the steps were demolished and recommended a carpenter before we even started, who was able to replace the damaged wood on the day after demolition and before the steps were built. Bobby and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with.

Bonnano Construction is just fantastic. We purchased a house that had some brick front steps that had sunk about an inch from when they were originally installed. The previous owner had tried to do some minor fixes to the door frame to compensate, but we wanted to rebuild the steps. Bobby Bonnano met us at our house and gave us an estimate (and also recommended some other projects to us). We were extremely impressed with Bobby. You could tell that he definitely knew what he was talking about. The crews that did the work were also fantastic; they worked very hard, did good work, and took care to clean up after themselves. Our new granite steps look terrific - well beyond our expectations. The whole process with Bonnano Construction was top notch; they are VERY good at what they do, honest, and hard working. We plan to use them for other projects in the future!

Bobby provided an estimate for the multiple small and large projects needed on our 1930s triple decker. He was responsive, professional, friendly and very honest with me about the prioritization of projects necessary to bring the back into a safe and clean state. He gave us reasonably priced estimates for several projects in the basement and the foundation of the house. We have not employed him yet, as per his suggestion to handle some drainage issues first, but we will likely return and use his services in the near future.

Came on time, stayed true to original estimate. Were very efficient and neat as well as polite. The initial meeting gave us more ideas and possible solutions and saved us money by pointing out,possible problems that we did not think about. Very accesible and courteous. Do use them for any masonary work. They gave great attention to details as well.

In short, one of the best experiences with a contractor I've ever had from start to finish. Bobby came to the house for the estimate when he said he would (his wife who scheduled the appointment was professional and very pleasant); offered great ideas and a really good design of the stair and pavers. Very easy to reach by phone. He even met us at the masonry yard to take a look at samples. He was the only mason who suggested that we make the first step a little less wide than the second and wrap the pavers around it. Made a huge difference. It looks great! The work was done quickly and the results were outstanding. I received multiple estimates for this and his was very reasonable and probably the best value given the work he was doing (and did). I also appreciated that he honestly told me I'd need to get a carpenter to look at the wood behind the stairs once they were removed to check and fix suspected rot (at my request he offered someone he knew who was good and reasonably priced). Bobby honest cost him money because given the cost of the carpentry I had to scale back another project I was going to do with him. He knew it might but he is very much about doing right by his clients. Neighbors keep commenting how terrific it all looks. This was a relatively small project by dollar standards but his customer service couldn't have been any better if I was spending 5 times the price. I would use him again in a second.

The whole experience was terrific. Tino responded promptly to my initial email. Gave me an estimate and explained clearly options/variations open to us. He wouldn't take any money/deposit until the job was done. Lead time was 2+ weeks due to other scheduled work and weather, but Tino and two men arrived exactly when they said they would. All of them very polite and professional, cleaned up and hauled away everything. I'd use them again for sure.

Mr Tino Bonanno punctually arrived for the scheduled estimate a couple of weeks prior to the work. He listened to my ideas, offered useful suggestions and gave me an estimate on the spot which ultimately was the cost. He was professional and polite at all times. The job took one day start to finish. The quality was excellent. The area was clean. He set aside the old flagstone for my use and even put down new soil and grass seed where it was needed. I couldn't be happier.

I must tell we have never been more satisfied with a company. Tino, who is one of the owners, came and went over the project, explaining how the patio would be removed replaced and how long it would take. He along with his crew were very professional. The patio is amazing it was completed in one day. Tino had extra loom and was kind enough to spread on other parts of my lawn. They left the yard cleaner then befor jop was started. It was a pleasure doing business with Tino and his crew and I would highly recomend the

They were not prompt in returning our call, which was unexpected. It turns out that the father, Louie, had had a stroke. We had first met Louie last year and he was a gem. Brought along a photo album of completed jobs. Talked about the pros and cons of different materials. Once they were back in town, they got back to us and were very apologetic. We understood completely. They gave us an estimate and were able to start work shortly thereafter. Although we had had lower estimates from other companies, we went with Bonanno and we're glad we did. They did a great job. Turns out our stairs were at different heights and had other problems as well. They evened them up as best they could. We chose not to have the railing removed and replaced and they worked about that as well. Overall they were terrific. I have recommended them to other people who have also been pleased with their work.

Great. Bobby came by, I showed him some examples of other houses that had similar work, we sketched out a rough plan (nothing too formal as someone else also mentioned), set a date, they came and it was done by early afternoon that same day (the driveway wasn't that large)

They were amazingly fast...completed all the work in just 2 days. It all came out beautifully and right on budget. They were professional and very easy to work with. They also didn't take any money until the project was done. In addition, I had left a couple of messages for another contractor to try to get someone to replace a railing on the stairway. They hadn't returned my call until Tino Bonanno gave them a call for me and then they were very responsive.

This company is special. I called for an estimate and Louie came the same day. He worked with me, showed me pictures of work he had done and where he had done the work so I could see it in person. He gave me an estimate immediately. I did get two other estimates after meeting with Louie and his price matched one and was lower than the other. The workers came the morning that they were supposed to, worked diligently, were friendly and were done on time. That was that.....Louie would not take any $$$ until they were done

I had a problem with damp walls in the basement that caused crumbling of stucco that had been put over the walls plus flooding at the exterior walls in front of my front porch in heavy rain, which was the root of the problem. The initial contract specified two jobs. First, excavating near the foundation of the house, inserting horizontal drains to carry the water away and damp proofing the foundation($6400) and second removing all the crumbling interior stucco and painting the walls with theroseal cement paint($5600). I liked his plan for the exterior and wanted to hire him, but someone else had quoted a lower price for the interior work. When I told him that, he matched the price($4900). In addition, when he dug up the foundation near the house, we discovered that there already was a horizontal drain pipe and he concluded that the culprit was the bottom section of the vertical downspouts from my gutters that had holes in them! So, rather than putting in a new french drain, he just replaced the bottom of the downspouts that connected to the existing horizontal drain and also added another vertical drain in the ground that connected to the horizontal pipe. He reduced the quoted price for that part of the job from $6,400 to $800! And my problem is solved!! Also, after the cement paint in the basement dried, there were areas that were whitish rather than the gray of the paint. When I called, he promptly sent someone out who put an entire extra coat of paint everywhere, not just the white spots.

Bob was a pro from start to finish. We were very pleased with the job he and his team did for us. I plan to call him again in the spring to re-do my patio.

I contacted Tino Bonanno, and within three days he contacted me. We scheduled a site visit for him to appraise the condition of the steps, provide options, advice, and an written estimate. At that site visit, he gave me a verbal estimate, after three days he emailed a written estimate to me. I agreed to the estimate, and his crew started work two weeks later. There were a number of rainy days that affected the start time. Tino called me to confirm a start date and time. The Bonanno crew arrived on time, set up, and started the work. The front of the house and the shrubs on both sides of the steps were protected. New bricks, granite treads, sand, and cement were placed neatly on palettes. The old stairs were demolished and the masons built the new steps according the the design agreed upon by Tino and me. By the end of the second day, the stairs were completed, and the work site was cleared and cleaned. I think it was his crew foreman who asked me where I wanted the old bluestone and some extra paver bricks placed--courteous and professional. Tino gave me some advise about when the stairs would be ready for use.

Answered phone promptly, came quickly for estimate and made wonderful suggestions on the stones. Was very clear and followed up well on the phone. Did all the work in about a 24 hour period, exactly as stated.

They were very good. They were on time and worked straight through. We would recommend them!

The work went very good. They are excellent to work with. I have already passed them on to other people. The work turned out very good. On a portion of the project they were my fourth quote, and they were half of the highest quote. They work fast.

I thought that Louis was lovely to meet, and it was a difficult choice between several good choices.

My experience with them was very good. They are very, very nice. They do what they say they are going to do. I was very pleased. I would recommend them and use them again.

Everything went as planned. The front steps are beautiful and will last longer than the house probably will! The work lasted 1.5 days and Louie was on site regularly to check on progress. He addressed any concern or question I had. As a side note, Louie told us that he did the retaining wall in our garden when the house was first built in 1969. That wall is still standing, like new, without a single crack in it.

The work was outstanding. Price was excellent. Louie Bonanno was a pleasure to deal with and his workers were punctual, professional and polite. My neighbor remarked on the politeness of the workers. The job was completed very quickly and the craftsmanship was outstanding. The finished result is beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

Our steps and walkways were uneven and unsafe. I got a lower estimate from someone else, but I was impressed by Louie Bonanno's professionalism, his previous work and his reviews. His men came within a week and did a beautiful job, even laid out landscaping fabric under the brick walkway without my asking. When I was dissatisfied with the way one of the workers was laying out the granite, I called Louie and he corrected the situation immediately. He treats his workers well, bringing them coffee and donuts daily and checking in regularly with them. They finished the job in two days.

Excellent. Prompt estimate. Hard-working and polite workers. While neither Louie, Tino or Bobbie was on the job during the day, Louie came by every night to check on the progress of the work. Louie was always reachable by cell phone. He's a true gentleman. Louie was also excellent in allowing choice of materials (treads in bluestone or granite) at no additional charge.
