I was very happy with the work and recommendations of Maclellan Plumbing and Heating. The technician was very personable and helpful. They are also punctual and professional. I definitely recommend him to others.

I'm happy with the service I get from McClellan Plumbing and Heating. The service man came on time and he was very quick with the repair. He was nice, friendly and courteous. I appreciate that they got here very promptly. I think this is pretty rare for plumbers.

They returned my call 2 days later. They said they would send someone down. He came out, and he said he didn't think that he would have the part, but he fixed it. I checked the toilet and the groaning was gone, but it was really loud. My toilet has never been that loud before. I contacted the owner about the loud noise, and he said he would come out. No show, it's been 3 weeks. Also, they wouldn't give me a price, nor a bill on the spot, and still have not received my bill. I would have liked a follow up call.

I had a mixed experience with Maclellan. Upon my initial call for service, I was able to schedule the work promptly. However, once the work was completed, the plumber refused to tell me how much I owed and said that I would get a bill in the mail. The plumber was gruff and unpleasant and managed to scuff my bathroom tiles, as he used the electric snake due to carelessness. Also, the cleanup was left to me. Six weeks later the bill arrived. About a month after the service I called twice, to ask for the bill (or at least an amount for the work) and was never called back. I would use them again, but I would request a different plumber next time. The one they sent was unprofessional and needed babysitting, in order to ensure he did his job properly.

I highly recommend the work of Marty and his men. If you persist in getting Marty to respond to your phone calls, it is truly worth it. Once he is committed, he is very attentive until the end of the job. His men are very professional, courteous, personable, willing to answer question as work is in progress and after work is done, clean up after themselves, and make sure everything is in working order. Several hours after they left, there was a leak from one of the pumps. They came the next day to rectify the problem, and I have not had any problem since.

SOMEONE CAME RIGHT OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE, AND SEEMED VERY HONEST, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET AN ESTIMATE WITHIN A FEW DAYS. A WEEK LATER I CALLED WHEN NOTHING SHOWED UP, AND LEFT A MESSAGE. ANOTHER WEEK WENT BY. I CALLED AGAIN, AND AGAIN NO ONE CALLED BACK. FINALLY I CALLED, AND SIMPLY SAID I WANTED TO GET SOME WORK DONE, AND NEEDED AN ESTIMATE. MARTY CALLED ME BACK, AND LEFT A MESSAGE, SAID HE WOULD CALL BACK THE NEXT DAY AT 7AM. HE NEVER CALLED. I CALLED ONE MORE TIME, AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR MARTY TO CALL ME. AGAIN, NO CALL BACK. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. I FIND THIS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. IF THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN THE WORK A SIMPLE PHONE CALL SAYING SO WOULD HAVE SAVED ME WEEKS OF TIME, AND FRUSTRATION AS I HAD PLANNED ON HIRING THEM.

HE RETURNED MY PHONE CALL LATER THAT DAY, AND AGAIN TRIED ME THE NEXT DAY. UNFORTUNATELY, I HAD ALREADY HIRED SOMEONE. AT LEAST THAT COMPANY WAS ALSO GOOD.

ALTHOUGH VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL APPEARING, THEY WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. HE FAILED TO CALL WHEN PROMISED TO SET UP TIME FOR AN ESTIMATE (BUT DID SHOW UP AFTER I CALLED TO REMIND HIM). THE BID WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DROPPED OFF IN A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT WASN'T. A WEEK LATER I SENT AN E-MAIL ASKING FOR STATUS AND HE THEN SUBMITTED BID. LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS WOULD HAVE LED ME TO CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE - AS IT WAS HIS BID WAS THE HIGHEST RECEIVED.

WOULDN'T HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. WE HAD A HARD TIME GETTING OTHER PLUMBERS TO CALL US BACK. MACLELLAN ANSWERED THE PHONE AND IMMEDIATELY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. A SIMPLE DISHWASHER REINSTALL TURNED INTO MORE WORK THAN PLANNED, BUT THE PRICE WAS STILL REASONABLE AND MACLELLAN DIDN'T LEAVE THE HOUSE UNTIL EVERYTHING WAS TO CODE AND WORKING PROPERLY.

EASY TO DEAL WITH. LEFT WORK AREA SPOTLESS. TRUSTWORTHY EMPLOYEES.

MARTY AND HIS TEAM AT MACLELLAN HEATING WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND REASONABLY PRICED FOR THE WORK PERFORMED.

MARTY and HIS EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS POLITE and ON TIME. ANYTIME I CALL THEM, THEY ALWAYS COME IN A REASONABLE TIME PERIOD. THEY LEAVE MY HOUSE VERY CLEAN, ALWAYS PICK UP WHERE THEY ARE WORKING. THEY ARE POLITE and VERY PROFESSIONAL.
