MACLELLAN PLUMBING & HEATING

We originally hired MacLellan Plumbing and Heating to replace the main pipe in our cellar. We were so pleased with how everything went, that we hired them again to replace our heating systems in our 2 family home. Marty explained our options and answered all of our many questions. Marty, Joe and their office staff were amazing. They installed two combination boiler and water heater systems in our home. Both Marty and Joe were very friendly, polite and always prompt. My sister and I always felt safe while they were there. From the moment they started everything they needed was set up, organized and ready to go. Each night our cellar was left neat and tidy. When the installs were complete, you would not have even known that we had work done. The installs went seamlessly and within the stated time frame. Everything went so well that we will be hiring them again to move our laundry to the first floor. Before they left we asked if they had time to check our stove to make sure it was working properly and to check our garbage disposal that was jammed. The disposal could not be fixed, so I asked if they could replace it when they come back to move our laundry. Marty said “No, I have a new one in the van and I can install it before we go.” Amazing.

They were great, prompt, pleasant and it appears the problem has been fixed. Just don't know the cost as of yet, it only been about 5 hours since the job was done

My brother recommended Maclellan Plumbing. But with the blizzard and lots of burst pipes & heating problems across the region, Maclellan wasn't available today. The woman who answered the phone recommended Budge It and gave a phone number, and the folks at Budge It will be out today. Excellent customer service, we will be contacting Maclellan again for future plumbing needs.

great - they have always been accessible and reliable which is very important. I really don't have much of a benchmark for their pricing as I've never used anyone else (?) but it seems very reasonable to me and I'm happy to pay for good service

They did good work and were conscientious. The original reason for the visit was to install a replacement kitchen faucet. I asked them to do one more task while they were here related to the washing machine hoses and problems with slow cold water into the machine. They could not resolve the problem, suggesting it was probably time for a new machine. Possibly so. They gave it their best shot, replacing the hoses, which were reasonably new anyway. I was surprised at the cost of the bill. $ 438 and they did not deduct the Angie's List coupon - the reason I got in touch with them originally. I simply deducted the coupon from my payment, writing a note to that effect.

.Arrived within a few hours of being called on weekend. After some probing found and replaced 2 leaking pipes in the ceiling.

It went well. They got the job done without any problems and cleaned everything up.

It was an adequate experience. My husband had more to with them than I did. My husband made the calls and he was here when the plumber came. They responded fairly quickly. they were pleasant. They cleaned up after themselves. They wanted to make sure we had the right faucet and so they had us email them a picture of the current faucet that we have now so that they could go to the hardware store and get the correct one. they actually upgraded from the kind we had to a new modern kind. I thought it was pretty expensive. We have a plumber we prefer but the other plumber was not available.

What great service and a great price too, for the work performed. Also, they had all the necessary parts with them, so there was no wasting time (on my dime) going out for parts. All in all an excellent experience especially compared to my former plumber (Zeola). I look forward to continuing the relationship with McLellan.

I contacted Maclellan Plumbing due to their great reviews and I communicated back and forth with them several times thru messages that were always responded to very quickly and thoroughly. I was needing to replace two wax rings on 2 toilets in preparation for regrouting. The plumber was extremely professional and helpful with my questions. The only reason I did not end up using Maclellan was because we thought they were going to call to schedule the appt by a certain date but they were planning to call a day later and well within the time period before regrouting was to take place. It was a simple case of misunderstanding on both of our parts. I write this review because I want people to know that the communication and information provided by Maclellan was top-notch professionalism.

I searched for a few quotes from licensed plumbers on Angies list. I kinda understood the going rate for a plumber was around 100 an hour. However, most quotes I got to add a spigot far exceeded that rate for what turned out to be a little over a 2 hour job. Most quotes I was getting were about $300 to $400 dollars. I asked around to friends that are familiar with this type of work and they told me that I was going to get ripped off if I payed that price. I finally got a hold of Maclellan Plumbing and they informed me that the job would be no more than $225. I hired them immediately. Upon starting the job they realized that I needed more material and it was going to take a little more time. However, they did not charge and were extremely courteous and professional throughout the process. Additionally John was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to answer any questions that I had, which some were not even related to the job at hand. John also came in to replace my laundry pipes. He noticed that the shut off valves were in back of my washer and dryer and realized that if there was an issue it would be difficult for me to get to those valves. When replacing the pipes he moved the valves above the machine at no extra cost, which was made a lot more sense. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Maclellan plumbing. It is very difficult to find reasonable people that will treat your home with respect these days and also not take advantage of you. I highly recommend going with this company.

Maclellan plumbing was great. After very unreliable service with so many other plumbers, we finally found a company that is professional, provides a great service and that we would trust to use again. On my initial call, I was given an estimate of the cost and was able to schedule their visit for just a few days out and they were very accommodating to work around our schedule. They showed up as promised and diligently performed the work as promised. We were very happy with the end product. We would definitely use Maclellan again and would recommend them to our friends.

Two gentlemen from MacLellan arrived exactly on-time, got right to work and resolved the issued within 20 minutes. They were informative without being condescending, and we will gladly use them in the future for any problems or new installations without worry.

After contacting MACLELLAND PLUMBING through Angie's List they performed the job at my rental property within a few days. It was very convenient for me, because they coordinated with the tenant themselves, and I didn't have to be there to allow access. I have used them in the past prior to joining Angie's List and have always been happy with their timeliness and workmanship.

John was excellent. Not only did he tell us how to solve the problem without completely taking the tub apart, but the time it took was super fast. After my call, they were on site the very next day, could not be any more pleased with the result.

Called plumber RE: stone; couldn't have been more helpful - disconnect first thing in the AM; came back later (waited for someone to come home) & reconnected new stove.

Work went better than expected and was less than original estimate. The only issue was the travel time. Anyone buying deal must be sure to include travel time as part of the one hour of labor. Beyond this deal was worth it.

I could not be more pleased with the work. I called the company this morning and although it was not an urgent call, they informed me that they had workers in my area in the afternoon. Within 2 hours, they arrived and fixed the problem in less than an hour. They were courteous and very professional. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future and will highly recommend them to my neighbors.

We observed a leak in our basement that seemed worse when using the washing machine and our 2nd floor bathroom. They were quick to come out and assess the condition and returned on Monday to repair it. It was all very swift and the problem has been resolved. They were professional, punctual and communicated effectively about when they would be here and what they would do. We would definitely use them again.

I called up on Sunday afternoon and my call was returned promptly within 2 hours. John was quite professional and responsive on the call. He even offered me his insights on what I can do temporarily to handle water leak from gas furnace while he comes next day. John showed up right on time next day and fixed the issues. He not only fixed the issues but gave me walkthough of my home plumbing system. He is very knowledgeable and experienced individual. Even though no previously discussed he also fixed the garbage disposal and was ready to help. Where other guys was trying to rip me off by trying to sell me new garbage disposals, John found the issue in 2 mins and fixed the disposal. its working like charm now. it was worth every dollar to hire John for this work. I highly recommend John and his company for doing great work.
