I was not able to meet the gentleman from the company, so had a friend do so. I understood they use some type of "glue" product to solve basement leaks from concrete wall and wasn't interested in resolving.

Micah was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work-- and a good educator so I learned a lot. He answered all questions I posed. I will not be able to act on any services in the short term, but I feel far more comfortable understanding the efflorescence on my basement walls, where to caulk for leaks, and the value of a closed French drain. Lots to think about. This was an Angie's list special and included a report.

Everything went very well. I had gotten a basement inspection deal thru Angie's list with Pioneer. The basement has always been damp and musty smelling and I had used a regular dehumidifier that you have to empty out. It was not effective and was expensive to run so when the rep suggested this system I knew it was the way to go. He did the measurements and it was installed about a month later (my scheduling Issues). The installation was well done and the installer explained everything and left the place cleaner than when he started. I also had them install a garage ventilation system. I store paints and the gas run lawn mower and snow blower there. The cost was about $1000 and I had the same positive experience with the installation. Highly recommend this company.

The job was done in a clean, efficient manner. The technician was courteous and professional. Explained the work that was done, gave advice on future maintenance, and gave me a brochure about the system installed and warranty. I intend to use them again in the future.

Good experience overall. Micah was very knowledgeable. Was surprised to see that all of the suggested options were proprietary. Very expensive but seems like options would certainly address the needs I am seeking. Will possibly utilize one or two options/products but not all.

No - this is not a paid endorsement - Timothy Xavier just left my house after installing a replacement sump pump. He is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and meticulous. I have been dealing with Pioneer Basements for 10 years now and continue to be impressed with their honesty and solutions. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else - these guys are the best!

The serviceman was very thorough and detailed in his assessment of the basement.

I would highly recommend them. They were professional and installed a great drain system; from the initial visit by their rep to the week later inspection of the installed system by their service guy. They cleaned up after the messy install and that was important to me.

All work was done exactly in the manner described, and in the time they had quoted. Costs were very reasonable.

While Errol was 90 minutes late (marked down for punctuality), he was knowledgeable, clear, and patient with three condo owners as he provided plausible explanations for basement problems (slab cracking), a systematic plan for determining which among the possible causes was the actual cause, and a detailed explanation for what would need to be done in each case. We'd definitely engage his services again.

Let me start by saying Nick was very professional and well versed in his products, services & industry. Nice guy all around who was easy to talk to and was a no pressure person, which I prefer. Very responsive to any and all questions and was willing to offer up all the answers and information he could. This was greatly appreciated. Now as a whole, I don't believe this is worth $49. It was more of a sales pitch. One of which I would suggest be offered for free of charge. He did not inspect down spouts or exterior foundation, nor did he inspect window wells for leaks, etc. He did check humidity levels and also go over thoroughly his suggested fixes to keep my basement dry and prevent any future issues, especially due to me wanting to finish it. I pointed out my problem areas and he gave me solid recommendations. When and if I choose to install certain measures in my basement, I will absolutely consider this company, if not the service, definitely the products. But this deal - not worth $49. I'm sure you can get this for free if you call another vendor. Regardless, this is tough as I did like Nick and all that he did do. Just the $49 is why I gave pricing a C. I think I wanted more of a drawn up/written plan. He did send me a detailed estimate that same day.

The entire process was very smooth. Nick was very professional and efficient. He inspected the entire basement and carefully explained what he observed and suggested corrective actions. I had many questions - which he answered in detail. When he was finished he wrote up a full report, printed it and left it with me. There was no pressure to purchase services! Just the facts!

They were very good but very expensive. Now we are looking to do some landscaping to channel the water away from the foundation.

Work roughly took about 4 hours with a crew of 3. They cleaned up after and basement was cleaner than it was when they got there. Very professional and courteous group of guys. Basement looks much better now than it did and although it is untested at this point, I have every confidence that it will work when those strong summer rainstorms happen. Would definitely recommend for honest assessment of basement issues and even if you do not choose to work with them, they will answer any questions you may have. I even called Ken D. (initial contact with company and project manager) weeks after I scheduled the service and he answered my basement questions for 20 minutes on a Saturday morning.

I found them very good. They did a good job. I never had flooding issues. He saved me some money.

After 15 years living in my 100+ year old Victorian home and dealing with a wet or flooded basement every spring and summer, I finally decided to do something about it. A prompt, detailed and very reasonable quotation was provided to address my needs. A trench drain system was placed around the entire perimeter of the basement floor and a sump and pump sytem was installed in less than three days by an extremely competent, knowledgeable and professional crew. They answered and addressed all my questions and concerns. The crew took great care in keeping things neat and clean and upon their departure cleaned up everything every day. The materials used in the installation were very well designed and manufactured. I could not be happier with the entire experience and would recommend them without hesitation. I'm actually looking forward to the first downpour to see how it performs and I'm confident that I won't have to be pumping water out of my basement ever again.

Unfortunately it is a bigger job than his company can do but he was very professional, up front & honest. He didn't just walk away, he gave us suggestions.

They've been great. They were very prompt and very wonderful. I would recommend them to anybody. If I had any issues they would come out promptly.
