Description of Work: They are specialists at identifying possible leak areas, it was very useful to have a conversation with them. They did come up with a proposal plan for my basement and I will be following up with them this summer to have some of their plans done.

Description of Work: Unfortunately the workers inadvertently tripped my furnace/hot water heating system resulting in loss of heat and hot water. the hot water system had to have a service call. Pioneer Basement reimbursed for the call.

Description of Work: These guys were great. The PM scoped the job very well and was very patient. The crew did amazing work and were very clean. I have gotten several comments from friends about what great work they did and the cost was very reasonable.

Description of Work: They did a survey and wrote a report for my wet basement. They wrote an estimate for $6,000 and I can't afford that.

Description of Work: I met with Micah on 9/25/15 at my home in Wakefield. He was punctual, polite, and very professional. He gave the home an inspection and gave me a run down of what his recommendations were. I can't say that I disagreed with what he explained to me, but I felt what was recommended was a little bit of over kill. I'm sure that what his company had to offer would stop my water problem, they of coarse guaranteed that it would. If money was no object, I might have actually used this company. The proposal came in at approximately $8,000-$17,000, depending on whether I was going to do one or both basements. My home has one full basement, and one partial basement. Seeing as I have water issues in both areas my bill would have been closer to the $17,000. That being said I did move on to other contractors that would have suggestions far less expensive that may solve the problem. We'll see!

Description of Work: I thought I had purchased an unbiased assessment for the basement water problem I had. I received a pitch for their product, their options, their level of service etc. essentially a sales pitch and estimate for what they can do. Something I would think most of these companies offer for free. I think Angie's list should be carefull on how they market their services and make it clear it's a market pitch!
