Aeration Aeration and over seed Slice seeding dethatching setting up cost and prices if the lawn needs top soil. removing some rocks if needed but limited. nothing can be greater then 12 inches. I have worked for lawn care company's for 8 years and learned almost everything I need to know on causes of the issue. You ask your self why your lawn looks brown, yellow, moss, thin "meaning" some areas just need and over seed. In most cases i will proved a fertilizer to any service because It benefits you as the customer and as well as me! with any service I provide there is a over seed. and if your lawn is in rough shape or you really care about your lawn. everything that I do is what I have learned and not just only learned. I started doing jobs on the side on weekends and noticed my results, people dont relize when seeding lawns or restoring a brand new lawn" in some cases you may need to add top soil ontop of your lawn you already have because your lawn has poor soil conditions. moss is the worst issue anyone can have, and the hardest thing to Help keep under control. moss is a problem with to much shade, and not enough sun. If you have alot of moss its going to be harder for me to help because lack of sun. the sun helps keep the grass growing instead of the soil turning into a fungi. I will do my best for customer like it is my own lawn. and you know what every company says that. 70% percent in companies will stay to there word. every service I do, I would like a report every two weeks with pictures just to see how things are going. Therefor if something gets worse I can help fix the issue before its to late. See what people don't understand about lawn care and keeping the grass nice and dark is maintaining the lawn on a constant basis. another service i will provide is setting a watering schedule, if you have a a built in sprinkler system. after every service i do. i would like to see and check to make sure all your sprinkler heads are working properly.

Lawn tool repairs FAQs

Lawn mower repairs typically range from $40 to $90, with most people spending right around $60. However, your final total will depend on the type of lawn mower you have, the repair needed, and part availability.

Lawnmowers require seasonal maintenance to continue working correctly. With routine maintenance, you can extend its life to the fullest, which is around 10 years for push mowers and 5-8 years for riding mowers. To keep your lawn mower working correctly, you’ll want to take the following steps at least once a year:

  • Replace the spark plug

  • Change the oil

  • Drain the fuel tank

  • Clean the mowing deck (ideally, after every mow)

  • Replace the air filter

  • Check the carburetor

  • Sharpen the blades

  • Fog the engine

  • Check the tires

Before your lawn mower quits working entirely, it’ll likely give you some signs of wear and tear that indicate a repair is needed. Signs that you might need repairs to your lawn mower include:

  • Oil leaks

  • Vibrating engine

  • Smoking exhaust

  • Increase in time to mow

  • Unusual noises

  • Increase in gas consumption

If you are a skilled DIYer with experience, you can do certain lawn mower repairs yourself. However, if you’ve never worked on a lawn mower before or if your mower needs extensive repairs, it’s best to let a skilled lawn mower technician work on your machine. While it might be a little more expensive due to the cost of labor, nothing beats knowing that the job was done successfully (and often with warranties).

In many cases, it might be cheaper to repair your lawn mower than to replace it, depending on what needs to be repaired. The cost to replace a lawn mower dramatically varies, from $60 for basic models to over $15,000 for the top-of-the line models.

Small repairs like a spark plug replacement can be as little as $20, so replacing the whole lawn mower wouldn’t make much sense. However, repairing a crankshaft could be much more expensive at $500 to $900, so depending on the age of your mower, it might be best to replace it. It’s best to speak with your lawn mower repair technician to determine which option is best for you.
