I purchased a big deal from this provider and they responded very quickly and came the next Monday, on time, to inspect my house for any places there might be mold. I was 99 percent sure there was mold in our attic and I was proved correct. They sent me an estimate for the removal of the mold the next day. I thought the price was fair with the amount of work that needed to be done and we scheduled a date. The technician arrived at the appointed date and time and was very professional and a very hard worker considering that it was one of the hottest days this summer. With this project there is a 10 year transferrable warranty which was an incentive to use them. I was pleased at how fast the technician completed the project and would hire this company again but hopefully I won't have to.

Mike was very helpful and did a really good job for me. I was very pleased with their service. They are very professional and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to others.

I was purchasing a home and wanted a quote on mold remediation in the attic based on a home inspection. They were very responsive and professional during all communication and came out to provide an estimate on the work. I was told I would receive a service plan and quote within 3 days. I received the details within a day or so. Once I received all estimates and wanted to move forward after closing I scheduled an appointment. They came out and performed the remediation. Throughout the work the guys were professional and explained what was being done and offered suggestions on improving ventilation to ensure I don?t have any problems in the future.

Wallace came to our house for an inspection under an Angie's List deal. I could see mold above the bathroom shower and he assured me that it was just on the surface. He pointed out some mold spores in various out of the way places and the best way for us to clean them. I very much appreciate his explanations and expertise. He took a sample in the basement, where significant amounts of mold may be an issue, and will email me the test results next week. If the test results show hazardous mold at high concentrations, then he will include a mitigation plan. I like that he gave advice on how we could handle the issues in the house and how he will wait for the test results before recommending action in the basement.

Mike Martinello arrived promptly after I called him,diagnosed the issues, explained the concerns in plain English and provided a detailed written quotation the next day. The pricing came in a bit lower than expected and lower than others I had checked out. His right hand man Wallace, arrived promptly and as scheduled the following day to start the job. Some of the mold was behind drywall that could not be easily inspected at the time Mike quoted the job and I know it took longer than he had anticipated. Mike DID NOT however ask to modify the quote or ask for extra money. The quote was "the quote;" a pleasant surprised. (Most trades people that I have dealt with (plumbers, electricians, etc.) charge by the hour (instead of the job) and "the meter" never stops running...) Wallace worked hard, he was thorough and everything was left cleaner than before he had come. He was very conscientious. IN SUMMARY: Mold Doctor responded immediately, promptly quoted a very fair price, showed up promptly to do the work, did the required work professionally and in a workmanlike manner. And perhaps most importantly, especially because its a potential health issues, the area treated remains mold free these many months later. We couldn't have made a better choice.

It went excellently. Mike of Mold Doctors and his associate Wallace were responsive, punctual, professional, and polite. They came to inspect our situation within 48 hours of our contacting them, and were able to schedule the work a week after the lab results were in. The team fully eradicated the basement of all building materials and furnishings that were infected with mold spores. They carefully moved and protected our other furniture. When they were finished they left the entire work area nicely cleaned. The house is now odor-free.

The work done was GREAT! They cleaned all the visible mold and took care of everything that Mike proposed and more. They spent timegoing over the project before they started and then reviewing the findings after they completed the cleaning. I would recommend them to everyone and would definitely use them again!! I can't say enough good things!

Mike was great. Came on time and promptly to give estimate. Keep in touch and followed up with me after emailing the estimate to see if I had any questions. Performed services as scheduled a few weeks later. Followed up with me after. I was very satisfied with results.

The two workers arrived on time, explained what they would do. the mold was on the enclosed porch and the bathroom. They blocked off both the porch and bathroom and did the work of removing the mold and then covering the areas with a paint that will keep the mold from coming back. I was given a certificate that the work was done and told that it stays with the cottage. I was happy with the work and workers and hopefully I won't need them again!! But if I do, I will call Mike.

From the initial contact in mid-June until the job was completed, I was totally impressed with the owner, Michael Martinello. He was very professional through-out the whole project, from giving a thorough inspection of the premises followed by a very detailed estimate e-mailed to me in under 24 hours. The estimate included a detailed list of the job to be done, and included "before and after" pictures of the cellar area. I would like to insert a fact that impressed me about Mike Martinello. While I was considering another estimate, Mike called me to ask how he might be fitting into my plans. I had a comfortable feeling that he really wanted to work with me and it helped me make my decision. (I had not had any such call from anyone else. Maybe they didn't care enough?) Once I contacted Mold Doctors with a committal, the work was started within a 2-week time, as Mike had suggested it would be. Mother Nature, however, was not so cooperative. During the week before as well as 2 days before the job start date, it rained extensively, to the point where the workmen started the job on time and did what they could. They were then forced, because of the excessive amount of water in the dirt floor and water dripping from the stone foundation walls, to stop work, because the treatment would not have held to the surfaces, and it would have required a second visit to start over again from the beginning (and could have meant an additional cost). In the meantime, the work crew placed an industrial size fan/dehumidifier in the cellar and left it running for the following two weeks. By July 12, they were able to finish the job in a day, and the damp musty smell of mold was completely gone from my home. The Mold Doctor firm suggested that it would be wise to install a machine called Humidex (sp?) that will circulate and remove damp air from the cellar to the outdoors. This is supposed to work better than a regular humidifier, and will insure that the mold will not reappear. The current job is guaranteed for 10 years. I am totally pleased with Mold Doctors, but am hoping I never need to use them again! However, should that need arise, I would not hesitate to call The Mold Doctors. They were absolutely a confidence-inducing team to work with in the initial contact, attempts to save me extra costs, and total credibility in their honesty.

The hardest part was that we had to take everything out of our attic! After 25 years, that was a feat. However the actual job wasn't smoothly. The guys showed up when expected and when we got one from work, it was all done. Looks great and we have a ten year guarantee.

Mike inspected the home we were purchasing and discovered mold in the attic and pests in the basement. We hired him to remediate the problem and the team he sent to perform the work was professional, knowledgeable, hardworking and pleasant. We felt we were given a brand new attic and basement and it was worth every penny. His team members killed the mold in the attic and put up a protective coating to prevent future mold growth guaranteed for 10 years. Then they gutted out all of the pests and old insulation in the basement, vacuumed, cleaned and sanitized every crevice, then installed brand new reflective insulation. We also had them install a humidex system which exchanges air from our house and keeps humidity in the basement at 55%, then expels it out of the basement directly out of the side of the house. Since we do our laundry in the basement and have to spend quite a bit of time down there, Mike's work has been invaluable in giving us peace of mind that the time down we spend down there is healthy and safe. We have been in our home a few weeks now and the air in the basement is always fresh and any damp clothes in the laundry never mold or smell musty. Mike has since made himself immediately available for any additional problems or questions that have come up since we have moved in. We feel Mike is a straight forward and professional person who we would highly recommend to work with.

It went perfect. Michael gave me an estimate and then a final cost (including a discount because of Angie's List, which I felt was reasonable for the work they did. ) The crew came on time and the day they said they would, (which is unusual for a lot of services on the Cape). They worked extremely hard and made sure I was happy with their services.

It was a great experience. He moved quickly. His quote was fair and very competitive. It was a big and difficult job due to 2 cramped but expansive crawl spaces, yet they handled it perfectly. He did it on the days he said he would, for the price he said he would and sent along photos of the before and after. Communication was timely and excellent. Price was very fair due to the amount of work and difficulty of the workspace. I would highly recommend Mike & Mold Doctors. He is one of the best contractors I have used on the Cape.

Mike and Al were very easy to deal with throughout the process from start to finish. They were very trustworthy and reliable. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them to install a Humidex system in my basement

Air quality was poor, mice nesting in insulation. They came in and took care of the problem.
