It went well and I would use him again if the need arises

In late December we had a very cold night and my heating system failed. I called my next-door friend so see if he could fix it. Tried but no-go. He called Steve's (we were both customers). I was ill with nursing care attending me. My neighbor explained the situation. Mr. Steve refused to come to my home -- said he was tired and was not about to go out! Needless to say, he lost two customers.

I called Steve's Plumbing on a Friday. Aaron returned the call the same day and made an appointment for Monday morning. He showed up on time, and was very pleasant and professional. He brought a new faucet and explained that this was a brand for which we would be able to get replacement parts for in the future. He made sure the job was done right, and even helped me with a problem that we were having with the bathroom sink drain. He did a great job. I was very impressed and will definitely call this company again in the future. They are highly recommended.

Arranged for inspection by Town same morning of installation to accommodate my schedule. Arrived and completed work on time. Upgraded water heater installation to meet code without additional charge. Responded immediately to fix minor problem with installation. Pleasant and professional. I have used this company twice before with similar experiences. Highly recommended.

This being at the end of the day, I also called another company. Steve called back the next morning, but was about a half hour behind his competition. I thanked him for his call back, and let him know his competition had been a bit faster. Mid-way through "faster" he hung up on me. I would have expected "thank you for thinking of us, maybe next time." Very unprofessional, will not invite to bid again.

I have an old house and I use Steve a lot. I like them a lot and I have used them in my previous house and in this house because I have tons of pluming work. They are fantastic and they were even out there one time in an emergency when the water heater wasn’t working. They come out right away and they are great with my kids because people who come to my house get swarmed by my four kids and a lot of people aren’t great with that, but these guys are. They come right away, they do great work and they have great prices and I like them personally.

Aaron (who works with Steve) made arrangements in a timely fashion, showed up on time, and fixed a leaking pipe from the outside spicket. He checked all the other faucets and was very honest about what needed to be done and what didn't. The price was reasonable, the work excellent. We'd absolutely use them again.

He was really good. He came out quickly, assessed the problem, and fixed it. I thought his prices were very good and he didn't charge me for unnecessary work.

Steve came to my house to check out the problem and we set up an appointment for Monday May 21st.They came out to my house and decided where the leak was and removed my dishwasher then cut a section out of my wall and replaced the pipe.They cleaned up everything and put the wall back and then put my dishwasher back in.Very professional crew.I would recommend them anytime.

At the appointed time two of his employees came and did exactly what he said they would do. They asked me if I had taken his advice and changed the faucets-which showed me that they had communicated. They were courteous and respectful of my property, and they cleaned up after themselves. As they were about to leave my daughter reminded me that the toilet was making a loud whining noise when flushed. I asked them about it and they checked it out with me. They didn't have the replacement part onthe truck but said they would call the following week so I could get it fixed. I thought "Sure, I won't hear from you again". Well, here's the surprise- He did call back - And came out to fix the problem!!!! I AM SO AMAZED!!! Each person was courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, and conscientious. I would recommend them to everyone! I had let my bathroom go because I had dealt with apathy from others - finally here is someone who takes pride in the work they do. My bathroom thanks you - I thank you - and thank you to Angie's list for bringing us together.

Very pleased with Steve's responsiveness and attitude. They were able to come out the same day they were contacted for service.

I called Steve on a Friday and he came to perform the work that following Monday. He was clean, polite and on time. He disconnected and removed the pipe leading to an old gas log fireplace that had stopped working and also capped off the pipe in my basement. The entire job took less than 30 minutes and cost far less than other companies I had quoted. I would not hesitate to call Steve again for any type of plumbing or heating job.

With the holidays approaching, we were afraid that our toilet would die at the least convenient moment! We found Steve's Plumbing on your list and placed the call. Steve answered and said that although he was on the road, he would try to get to us that very afternoon! He came exactly when he promised and said that if he couldn't fix the problem by the time we had to leave, ( we had an appointment ), he would return the next morning to fix it. He went right to work and fixed the trouble within an hour. He also checked other parts to make sure we wouldn't have complications. He was very thorough, professional, personable and believed in "fixing things right" without taking advantage of the customer. We've dealt with plumbers in the past who have fixed our problem, only to have the same problem reappear within a week, and then be unable to get a call back from that plumber. We know we were very fortunate to have a plumber show up on the day you call him, but the planets alligned for us that day and we couldn't be happier! We would definitely recommend Steve's Plumbing and will certainly call him again for our plumbing needs!

He was prompt with his call back, quote, and installation. The job went quicker than I thought it would but just as he said it would. I feel his price and the system he recommended we install were high quality and energy efficient. He is very knowledgeable and talked me out of some costly changes that would have made him money but been silly for me to actually do. He and his worker were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I know have a toasty care free system and would not hesitate to use him again and will be doing so for another project in the near future. THANKS STEVE!

Steve showed up on a Saturday for the estimate, which took ten minutes. He's very knowledgable and knew exactly what was needed. A few days later, his crew showed up, removed the pipe, placed a new pipe, cleaned up the mess, and departed.

Steve came and fixed the problems and made two return visits to insure the problems were fixed properly.

They were recommended to us by friends. They were punctual and reliable. They did an excellent job. We are happy with it. We would definitely use them again.

Everything went great! I originally contacted Steve in regards to a toilet leaking from the wax seal. Steve's employee (Aaron) fixed the leak and properly diagnosed the root cause of the problem. A tile floor had been installed and the toilet flange was never raised to the proper height. Steve contacted me, explained the problem, and we scheduled the proper repair. The toilet flange was raised to the correct height and the toilet was reinstalled. Since then I have contacted Steve several times. All calls have been returned in the same day. Steve has always given me excellent advice; I highly recommend Steve's Plumbing and Heating

I think this is Steve's third visit here. He always returns his calls promptly, makes an appointment, and keeps it. He's always cheerful & thoroughly professional. This was just a small job, but I know from experience that another firm might have made it a good deal bigger. Steve repaired all three taps very quickly. And next time I need a plumber--and there will be a next time--Steve is the man I'll call.

I liked everything about the service. He's very prompt, a good worker and he knows what he's doing. If he isn't able to provide you with service then he will recommend another service provider that is just as good as he is. He's really good and he doesn't over charge.

He gave me his honest opinion and he told me that the job wasn?t worth doing. He stopped me from going down a bad path and I knew that he wasn?t just trying to make a dollar off of me.

pretty good. They had to come back a second time because the new plumbing was leaking....but they took care of it and now it works great.

He told me that problem was one part or another other part. He suggestion to replace the cheaper part, and I agreed. However I discovered the furnace was still not working properly. I called him back and he replaced the other part, and charged me for a full service call. The 2nd visit should have not had a service charge because it was a follow to the original call. While he was making the bill, he bragged about how his kids went to expensive colleges.

One of the only ones on the list that called me back promptly and scheduled a time to come out. Mr. Rooter's estimate was 900.00. I paid 2/3 less with Steve's company. He was fast, efficient and professional. I will use him any of my plumbing needs in the future. I could not be more happy.
