Description of Work: Leaking toilet, non-emergency call to Steve's. Aaron showed up the same day, replaced the rusted bolt and other parts which needed updated. We have been using Steve and his staff for a decade or more now, and have always been pleased with their responsiveness, quality of service, and reasonable accommodations to our needs.

Description of Work: Had contract to replace water heater and a valve on boiler. Water heater pipe was not soldered properly and leaked same day of install. Had to wait until next morning for return repair. Boiler repair was not done immediately because initially he did not think he had right part. After almost a month of waiting, he decided the part would in fact work but charged us additional for install after we had a signed contract saying there would be no additional charge. Did not inform of the additional charge until work completed and felt he was justified to not abide by the repair contract.

Description of Work: Steve provided a clear proposal for our boiler replacement project. He adjusted it as our needs became clearer. He performed part of the work (boiler disconnect and hot water heater installation) early to ensure there was hot water available while the asbestos abatement company could accomplish the asbestos removal. He acquired and delivered the new boiler early to save us the cost of price increases. His crew finished the boiler installation the day after the asbestos removal and inspection were complete. They facilitated the electrical and plumbing inspections. They took the time to do a couple of other small plumbing adjustments while they were they. Cleaned up well. All work was of high quality.

Description of Work: I use Steve's Plumbing and Heating. He did some plumbing work in terms of clearing some drains, and he also had to put in the gas lines for my generator.

Description of Work: Steve returned my call promptly. I was disappointed to learn that they don't come into the city. I would recommend him to my sister who lives in Forest Park.

Description of Work: After checking Angies list I called Steve's Plumbing and left a message. Within 5 minutes he called me back. I explained the problem,clogged bathroom sink. He told me his company doesn't do those repairs but referred me to Fletcher Sewer and Drain. Steve said, tell them I sent you. I called Fletcher Sewer and Drain, left a message. In 10 minutes I got a call back. They were fantastic. Within 1 hour a wonderful young man was here and fixed the drain. I really could not believe how quick it happened. All because Steve's Plumbing knows the right people if he can't fix it. I would recommend both these companies to anyone looking for an honest plumber.

Description of Work: I called Steve about my kitchen sink drain. He doesn't do drains, but responded to my call immediatley and referred me to another plumber who was very professional, responsive and is scheduled to come and fix my problem this afternoon.
