Allen, Jane, and their entire team were wonderful to work with. They were extremely professional, punctual, organized, and responsive to our needs. Their work is meticulous and we are very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend them.

They are an outstanding company. They were very professional. The three workers were very good. The crew cleaned every day after the work was done. You can could not even they were here. They covered all the floors with cardboard and made a covered walkway to not track in dirt into our house. The owners first came in and went over the different types of products they offered and we were able to pick out the ones we wanted. Everything turned out great at the end. Their time and cost estimate were right on. There was not a penny difference in the price. They were the best out of four companies. I would recommend them to anyone.

From the estimate to finish they were professional, honest, thorough and responsive. Theypromptly returned to fix something that wasn't working properly. The job was about $20,000, very reasonable compared to other contractors. I would not hesitate in using them again and highly recommend them.

They did a fabulous job. I like them a lot. They were very timely and clean. They did not disrupt my life while here. They were very honest with options and pricing. They are very accommodating for my scheduling for the measuring and getting the work done. Everything looks great! They are so neat. They stuck to the time and price estimate. Everything about the experience was easy. Everything they promise, gets done.

Everything went fine. I had no problems with their work. My cabinets were very worn out and needed an upgrade. They were able to match the design with my kitchen. Scheduling with them was easy and they showed up on time for the work. My kitchen looks very nice.

Everything turned out beautiful. I thought their workmanship was extraordinary. The counter is installed well and you cannot see any seams. They were very respectful of being in our home. They were not loud, cleaned up very well and worked hard. They are one of the best contractors we have hired. There is nothing negative about them at all. They are very prompt and show up when they promised. They are extremely detail oriented when it comes to the measurements so when the workers come in, everything matched up perfectly. They also got the job done when promised. There was no inconvenience with this experience. If I needed another kitchen done, they would be the first one I would call. They are really a pleasure to work with. Every single person that came into this home was polite, professional and respectful.

The Kitchen Tune-up people are the most professional providers we have met, always reliable, always on time, always responsive to what we asked. The project went extremely smooth, i.e. the carpenters put the whole kitchen in in two and a half days! We loved working with them.

We could not have been more pleased with our choice of Kitchen Tune-up of Newton. Allen and Jane clearly take great pride in their work and they are very experienced and pleasant in their approach. They are both very responsive to emails and calls and unfailingly patient with indecisions on our part! Our kitchen presented some challenges because of settling of the house but they managed to make it all work out wonderfully. Allen and his coworkers were deliberate and careful and did not cut corners when it came to addressing the settling issue, The cabinets, doors and countertops are all precisely level and even, and look perfect! They made drawers and cabinets to fit under the outer side of the kitchen peninsula, greatly expanding our storage space, a super solution to our relatively small kitchen area. They also replaced a small and particularly useless built-in kitchen desk and its upper cabinets with a cabinet depth bank of spacious drawers, again greatly increasing our storage capacity. They carry a good quality product line, their work is top-notch and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to update their kitchen. Their cost is reasonable and they made sure every last detail was correct before finishing up.

They came out, measured and suggested a plan for our kitchen. We have a very unusual Galley style kitchen that we could not figure out how to arrange for the remodel. Their design gave us a lot of ideas. Although we did not use them to organize our remodel, their design kicked us into gear on our renovation. We changed a number of items, but their design was key to us re-thinking what we needed to do to start our project.

They simply did a fantastic job. No complaints. Both Allen and Jane were fantastic. They always come on time and at the designated appointment. Very courteous and was very good at setting expectations with their customers. They walked us through the entire process, showed us all the possibilities in terms colors, materials and counter tops. We had an old electric stove that needed replacing. Initially went to Yale electric to purchase our induction cook top. It turned out the island we had didn't fit the new cook top so we needed to get contractor who would redo the island cabinet. I came across these folks and it turned out they do custom island cabinet work so I went with them. Since we were going to replace the entire counter top, we asked Jane and Allen to also give us a quote for not only doing the all the cabinets but also the counter top. They did a great job at coordinating their work with installers at Yale electric, Allen speaking directly to the installer at Yale and coordinating each parties work schedule. They say their job would take a week and sure enough they did it all within the promised time frame.

It was the most seamless transition in renovation,ever! Allan and Jane were very detailed oriented and time sensitive. Their crew was very clean, efficient and took care of all surroundings. I felt that because of all the suggestions and recommendations resulted in my perfect kitchen. Highly recommend and definitely will us again...bathrooms in future!.

I chose Kitchen Tune-Up based on all of the superior reviews on Angie's List and was not disappointed. Because my budget was limited, I was concerned about tearing out my existing cabinets and opening up the possibility of expenses not planned for. Being able to work with the existing cabinetry and add new matching cabinets was an ideal solution for me. I met with Jane and Allen a few times to come up with a plan, and they assisted me in the decision-making throughout the entire process. They were always responsive and professional, and a pleasure to work with. Over a year later, when one of the shelf brackets broke, I emailed them to ask a question about what exactly I should purchase to replace the bracket. Allen responded right away, offering to come by or mail me new brackets, not only to replace the broken one, but he gave me brackets to replace them all, at no charge. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up without any reservations. All of the people who worked with them were superb, as well. A great company!!!

Fabulous. We have had work done in all 4 houses we have owned over the years and I can honestly say that this was the best experience working with a contractor we have had on any project. Allen and Jane are very nice and always available to answer questions. Allen was able to help us with suggestions on how to really fix our outdated kitchen on a budget. They were always very punctual and careful to keep our house clean. We are very pleased with our new kitchen.

This deal went well. He came out on time and did all the measurements. He was very polite and professional. I received the plans within a short amount of time as well. Overall good experience.

Jane and Allen were extremely responsive and prompt with answering questions. They were accomodating in their schedule. They came over, took measurements, explained our options and were prompt in giving us a quote. Everything went smoothly. They gave clear instructions of how to prepare for the date of the work, etc. We scheduled a date for installation, they came and finished things ahead of schedule and cleaned up completely after the work. There were a couple shelves in the corner which couldn't be done as it would give us even less space. Allen waited until I got home to explain it and offered to put them in if I still wanted them. I agreed with his assessment to leave them off and he took them off the bill. I LOVE my pull out drawers- it makes everything so much easier and tidier. Allen offered to come back if I find any issues at all (which I have not). I had initially gotten a quote from Shelf Genie. They were responsive and very professional but the quote was for more than twice what Kitchen Tune-up quoted.

My kitchen is very small and I had a storage problem, so they were able to make some suggestions about how to fix that, and I hope to make some changes in the future on the kitchen. They were excellent, and I thought it was well worth the money to see my options available.

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the workmanship, customer service, attention to detail, and reliability of Allen Cohen and his team. From our first meetings when I asked for a variety of options and price points, from a complete kitchen overhaul which they agreed was not necessary for what I was saying I needed, to the final recommendation and cost, I knew I could rely on the plan we had worked out. The installation took one day, was flawless, with their guys Mike and Joe doing precision work, cleaning up carefully, and generally being as accommodating as possible. When a few days later, I noticed something odd on two of the cabinet doors, Allen returned immediately, acknowledged the defects, and ordered and installed two new doors. Communication with Allen and Nancy his partner, was excellent and always quick and effective. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend their work.

We are in the middle of a large renovation, and Allen and Jane are a breath of fresh air. They are very knowledgeable about all aspects of kitchen cabinetry, countertops and other finishes, and provide clear and balanced opinions. We had an initial consultation which resulted in a very clear preliminary quote. When I was ready to move ahead to my actual countertop selection and to finalize the cabinet work I was doing, they provided a detailed quote and reasonable payment schedule. We had some quirky things to work with in our kitchen and Allen is real problem solver. I appreciated his willingness to collaborate and work through some challenging issues and find good solutions. Whereas some contractors would have likely advised me to choose cabinet replacements and/or more expensive workarounds, Allen and Jane tried to come up with the most cost-effective and reasonable approach. The work was done in a timely fashion, the installers were all wonderful to deal with, and every aspect of the process was handled professionally. I highly recommend them!

Angie's List offered a deal from Kitchen Tune Up for a reasonably priced design consultation. We met with the principals at our house and we discussed our remodeling plans. They asked a number of excellent questions & took measurements. A few weeks later they came back with proposed designs. At the time, we couldn't pursue the remodeling, but we found that the designs from Kitchen Magic have informed our thinking and increased our confidence in our plans.

My experience with Kitchen Tune Up was the best I had among the many the contractors I have used over the past five years. I wanted to redo my kitchen with new appliances, sink and cabinet refacing. In addition I added a cabinet above one working area and a larger one on the side of the kitchen. Allen and ----- were wonderful to work with. I loved their selection of woods for the cabinets and selected one they had not used before. They were able to build and install the new cabinets, and provide a new countertop. The work was professional and beautiful. Then, one of the cabinets showed an unusual marking. They replaced it right away, but the wood did not match acceptably. They continued to work with the providers of the wood and a perfect match was found. This took a while, but I was confident they would acquire what I needed and they did. I love the outcome. The workers knew their stuff. They worked on schedule, cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant. I cannot speak highly enough of this company.
