They were very good. They were very professional and they finished the project on time. We noticed that the manufacturer of the door sent a slightly different door for a few cabinets and they took care of the issue immediately.

At the first visit,what is to be done was discussed,materials chosen, measurements taken and estimates given. A few weeks later,the refacing,etc.(aside from the countertops) is done(basically one day). Then,the countertop design and measurements were drawn up.Two weeks later,the Quartz counter with sink were installed. Fini!

They were good just a little expensive.

Having our kitchen cabinets refaced by Kitchen Tune Up was one of the best experiences we?ve had in home improvement. Allen and Jane were great when they first came to consult. No heavy sales pitch. Just straight forward, down to earth and they knew their material. You could tell they were thorough and cared about doing a great job for their customer. The promise they made to complete the job in 5 days was kept. Their crew arrived in the mornings each day exactly when they said they would. They were neat, clean and respectful of our home. They were really pleasant and nice to have around. They were very accommodating, meticulous and always willing to do a little something extra in order to make us happy. I feel very confident in recommending them in every aspect of work.

This was an excellent and relatively painless process from beginning to end. Allen and Jane were very helfpul in ideas during the planning process using their expertise and experience in shaping some of my vague ideas. They were always on-time, professional and did exactly as they said they would do without fail. Excellent communication and scheduling process. It should be noted that I had a similar quote from a "box store" that was almost double and I have no doubt would not have gone as smoothly or quickly as this process. I liked that they were readily available for any concerns/questions and clearly stand behind their work.

Allen and Jane provided careful consulting services, helping us to decide how to remodel our kitchen. They were well-organized, very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. We were able to schedule the work during our week of vacation and the work proceeded on time and without delay. Allen and Jane were always there just when they said they would be. They kept us informed of progress and were always clear about what we should expect. They worked seamlessly with the plumber and the countertop company we hired. In the end we were very satisfied with both the experience and the end result.

They are so button up! They are professional and detail oriented. They did what they said they were going to do and it turned out how they said it would turn out.

They actually did a very good job. They went out of their way to give a quote. They gave a good quote that had nothing wrong with it. They were responsive and professional. The reason I chose another business is because that business actually had a showroom, where you get to touch and feel the product before you decide.

I called Kitchen Tuneup which is owned by Allen Cohen and Jane Albert for an estimate. They came to our home a couple of months ago and gave us an estimate and proposal for our kichen. When we chose them to do the work, they immediately gave us a date for the work to be done. We had great vibes from our first meeting that they were highly professional and competent and they lived up to our high expectations. Allen came to our home on 1/18/10, which was the date that he and Jane gave us to do the work. He and his assistant completed the job in a very professional manner. They were clean and very punctual. You could set your watch to the exact time he showed up. My wife and I are thrilled with the look of our kichen. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone.

We called Allen and Jane intending to quote refacing until they figured out that with our configuration, new cabinets would cost less! Then we wondered if new cabinets could lead to a new configuration, and it turned out that was even more economical. We started with all-new countertops too but that came in a little pricy and feeling wasteful so they worked with us to beautifully incorporate our current stainless counter with the new one. We also kept our range. At every step of the way they were helpful and knowledgeable. We did not hire a contractor and they also provided great advice on integrating the painting, floor work, electrical work, and plumbing. Everything was done exactly on time, even with a last minute request to raise the counter 1/4"! Every request was addressed completely and the work area was left in spotless condition, even to the point of rinsing utensils when drill debris unexpectedly escaped into a drawer. This experience simply could not have been improved, in our view! Oh, and the kitchen looks great. :) BTW it's a Victorian house and the kitchen contains one round wall which the countertop flawlessly hugs.

I am extremely satisfied and happy with their work. They did a marvelous job and I will recommend them. They came on time and finished the job on time.

Allan & Jane are great to work with. They came to our house in the fall when we were first getting bids from contractors. We had to make some changes in our construction plans which delayed us several months. Jane checked in with me periodically during that time. We put in the order in December and they were delivered in late January. Usually Allan installs cabinets for customers but cabinet installation was already a part of contractor's agreement so Allan adjusted the purchase price of the cabinets accordingly. We did have a misunderstanding about the size of one cabinet that was to go over the microwave. Allan graciously ordered another size for us. We also had a problem with a tall pantry door that arrived warped. Allan ordered and installed a replacement for us.

It is so refreshing to receive excellent service and that is exactly what we got from start to finish. Allen Cohen instilled great confidence in the service and products of the project. It was a great experience and we are 100% satisfied with the results. They were considerate of our small space, of other condo residents and in cleaning up the area. I recommend this outfit to anyone needing this type of service; you would be in for a very pleasant and trust worthy experience.

This was a FANTASTIC experience! Allen and his wife Jane were kind, skilled, accessible, responsive and very hard-working. Initially Jane and a kitchen designer came out to our house to brainstorm ideas and take measurements. When we changed our goal slightly, Allen and Jane were happy to re-work our plan. It was wonderful to find a company that could design AND install the kitchen. This was a big bonus! We considered refacing, but decided to go with all new cabinets instead. Once we ordered the cabinets, we were very pleased with the communication, scheduling system, and our installation even happened a week early! The installation went smoothly, and we felt very comfortable with the team. When a few unexpected issues came up, Allen attended to them right away. We could not be happier with the quality of our kitchen and with the experience. The price I listed--approximate--included lots of high-quality factory painted maple beadboard cabinets with full extension drawers, a beautiful quartz countertop, glass doors on some cabinets, plus removal and installation of everything.

It was a big project we used them for. They were really creative and they provided with good options and different ideas. They pushed this job thru and everything got delivered completely on time.

Whole job was excellent. Allen Cohen and wife, Jane Albert coordinated the cabinet cleaning and countertop installation which consisted of 2 different appointments. At each appointment Allen showed up with his crew on time and cleaned up well upon leaving. Cleaning and countertop measurement came first. 2 weeks later the countertop was installed. We asked Allen if we could have 3 custom shelves made from the same material as countertop, that was not a problem. Our kitchen came out fantastic and we are very pleased with kitchen tune ups work. This is the second time we used them and the previous job came out very well also.

The experience was fantastic. We had one little set back because they had to come and measure the countertop in order for them to cut the stone and unfortunately they cut the stone about two inches too small the first time on one side. Instead of it being installed in one day it was installed in two. Other than that they really did everything that we wanted and they were very professional and punctual. They worked with our schedules.

I feel like they really listened to what my needs were. Every appointment was on time, they responded to my calls rights away. I interacted with both owners, a very knowledgeable technical person and two very respectful and friendly installers. The price was very competitive and I would highly recommend this company. A++

Arrived on time for all appointments friendly and easy to work with. Listened carefully and closely. Responded immediately to concerns (e.g., fridge left unplugged). Cleaned up and left detailed written progress report after each day's work (3 days total). Recommended Kitchen TuneUp to in-laws, and they gave us a $50 gift certificate for the referral.

Kitchen Tune-Up is an excellent company and we are very happy with the work performed. The only minor challenge was timing. There was a wait for the work to start (the company had a work queue of about a month) and the work took longer than expected to be completed (we didn't realize that the 3 days of work would end up spread across 3 weeks). Regarding the estimated 3 days of work to complete the job, we had assumed 3 consecutive days (we hadn't been told otherwise). Instead, the work was spread out over 3 weeks. These work delays were due mainly to two mistakes by subcontractors (both the counter tops and pantry unit manufacturers made errors). To the issue of pricing, we quoted out the job to three companies and based on its high ratings via Angie's List, Kitchen Tune-Up was remarkably better priced than both of the other companies. (Note that the refacing cost does not include door/drawer hardware, that's a cost handled by the customer.)

Overall from start to finish the experience working with kitchen tune up was great. Alan and his wife, Jane, came to my house; they were prompt, friendly, and very professional. No hard sales, just information and recommendations which helped me to make a decision on what direction I wanted to go with my dated kitchen. Looking at their before and after pictures, I decided to go with the restoration and a new counter top. Because their service is backed up, I had to wait over a month and a half but it was all worth it. 2 day work schedule was finished in just a day because of extra help. Alan's team was excellent, they were on time, worked well given obstacles like other contracting persons working in the same house. For a fraction of the cost to remodel, kitchen tune up made my kitchen look absolutely brand new. Even Alan was impressed with the before and after results. Highly recommended.

From the first visit to the day I walked into the finished kitchen, this was a great experience. I had had a previous estimate done that included a high-pressure sales pitch along with a pricetag $5,000 higher. Jane and Allen were truly professional and also very nice to chat with. Allen made some excellent suggestions, especially the one about closing up the space between the doors, which really makes a difference you can see in the before/after pictures. The work came off as scheduled, the space was kept clean (I was able to use the kitchen during the two evenings the work was being done), and the result is perfect. I would highly recommend Kitchen Tune-up to anyone.
