Mike was on time and very pleasant. He explained the recomendations clearly and did the work efficiently. I should also note that Dryer Vent Wizard was very flexible about scheduling the appointment, as both my husband and I work, so it's harder to schedule a weekday appt. Very nice customer service!

Called and spoke to the owner, Jerry in response to an Ad in the Angie's List magazine. Was so impressed that I scheduled work immediately. Was very impressed with punctuality, professionalism and quality of work. Explained all and cleaned up beautifully. Signed up for maintenance program.

The technician, Jay, arrived on time. There was some question regarding whether or not he could clean the dryer duct work and vent: franchise policy and procedure apparently require the tech to clean the entire run starting where the duct exits the building and going back toward the dryer. We weren't sure if the tech would be able to access and clean the outside vent flap until we found an access panel in the wall. Once we found the access panel, Jay completed the job quickly. He told us how long our vent line was and how many turns it had, recommended that we have an electrical outlet and airflow booster fan installed to reduce drying times and lint accumulation in the duct work. (Learn something new every day.) He patiently answered questions and cleaned up when he was done. Before you schedule a visit, confirm that the tech will be able to access the outside vent.

My experience with the "Dryer Vent Wizard" guy was exceptional. That alone was worth the money! This company is not responsible, however, for "taping and plastering" these wall pieces back in place, but I was fine with taking care of that myself. I was just so glad that I caught this "fire hazard" of a clogged vent before something really bad occurred. The company rep that did this job was totally professional and very knowledgable with his explanation of the scope of work to be done and his cleanup was meticulous. I just got a card in the mail for my annual dryer vent checkup and I will be calling to schedule that appt. as soon as the snow disappears! A+ rating for this company from me! Sincerely, Ann L.

Showed up early, which was great. Professional, nice guy who was careful and respectful with objects in the house. Identified why dryer didn't seem to be venting appropriately. Found that vent was not properly connected to dryer. Secured that and secured connection to tube running into ceiling. Checked air flow from dryer. Advised that setup was not ideal and provided estimate for improving further. Gave pragmatic and sound advice. Didn't try to upsell, but gave good clear options. Efficient and polite. Great experience. Highly recommended based on my experience.

Dryer Vent Wizard was very thorough and professional. It took some time to actually figure out where my dryer vented, and the tech was very patient. The tech spent a lot of time diagnosing the issue, because as it turns out the problem is actually with my dryer. They even recommended a wonderful appliance repair company who came out the same day I called them. Dryer Vent Wizard is a very professional organization.

We had a problem with the price at first, because he claimed that his boss did not tell him about any discounts. We were supposed to receive a discount through the condominium association. Then he said that he only did so much. After talking to his boss, he deducted $25, and then he did not do any additional work. He did get it cleaned out; he was in and out within 20 minutes. He was grouchy and there was bad communication. The stuff blew out on the walk way and he did not clean it up. I think that for the money he charged, he should have cleaned it up and the job was way below my expectations. The price was on the expensive side. He did show up on time. I would look for a better one.

I was very pleased with all aspects of the service. The technician was super helpful, service oriented, and even early for the appointment. I would use this company again without question and I recommend them. My sole issue would be to point out that it does get pricey. The technician was at my house for about an hour. There were no expensive parts replaced, etc. Having this work done is important, but it ran about double the cost of my annual air conditioning or heating maintenance for roughly the same amount of time on the call.

Initial contact and showing up was ok. What I wanted, was to have my dryer vent cleaned out, to be safe. What I got was a lengthly worse case scenario of all the ways my (admittedly complicated dryer placement) could prove costly. (If the wrong materials were used, we'd have to redo it, punch holes in walls,.....install new vents....) I have a stacked washer and dryer in a narrow space, venting up out of the roof. Turns out to clean it, would require two people, and most likely a tall ladder, accessing the vent via roof. So, I pay for the visit ($40. one hour visit) and got nada. (He'd have to come back, and and and) I decided to wait a couple of years until it is really a necessity. I'm pretty sure I had the vents cleaned two years ago, and it was doable from the inside. My suggestion would be, that during the initial phone call, the operator ask, "Is your dryer is an easily accessible location? Anything unusual to be considered?" If they had come prepared, of course I would have had the job done.

J ohn, the tech i had was wonderful, professional. and friendly . He showed me everything he was going to do. He was in and out in no time. he also left everything very clean ........ The only thing they charged me for the estimate , PLUS the price of the job !!!

We discussed the idea of installing a fan, which the technician discouraged as too expensive and liable to break down. He also didn't think it would be worth moving the dryer and changing the tubing. It was all done fairly quickly but not hurriedly. They struck me as honest and trustworthy and I expect to call them again to have vents cleaned in the future.

Called, set up a time, they came on time. I had the dryer vent hooked through the small door to the bulkhead and this created mountains of lint and began to spread mold. Jason recommended that a whole be opened from the basement to the outside and that a rigid duct be installed with an exhaust just above the foundation, outside. He quoted me a price and I thought was high. But others who had come in had less effective solutions (and not so much lower prices) so I went with them. He went ahead and did the job. Took about 2. Everything looks good. My one concern is that it is not possible for us to clean the duct ourselves in a way that feels safe. So we have to call Wizard every year to do the job. But otherwise this was painless and very well executed. Thanks Jason!

They were fine and did what I asked them to do. The worker seemed very knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. He didn't take my huge amount of time to get the job done. The price was fine. The quality was fine.

Jerry always got back to me right away and he arrived right on time for our appointment. As it turned out, there is just no way for them to safely install a dryer vent for our condo. But what Jerry told us that I never would have realized was that some companies make ventless dryers now! I had no idea! So we are planning on purchasing one of those. Jerry didn't want to take money for his visit but I insisted on paying him the $40 for his great advice!

They were great; they went above and beyond. We had more of a problem than expected and they fixed it. We would recommend them.

The technician called an hour ahead of time saying there was a chance he might be a few minutes late due to traffic, but he actually showed up early (no complaint here!). Cleaned the dryer vent and recommended replacing the hose between the dryer and main vent, as he indicated it was only a temporary tube that might not hold up over the long term. I agreed to that. Cleaning took maybe 20 minutes. Very courteous and professional. They were a little pricey, but they seem to know what they're doing, so I would recommend them.

The experience was good. The technical was punctual, friendly, he explained the service he would provide and the costs involved, and he completed the work in an efficient manner.
