Description of Work: Very professional, nice movers. But they overcharged me by 30 minutes for a small 2 hour move.

Description of Work: The job involved moving furniture within the house as part of a project to redo the flooring to hardwood. The team, Casey and Kyree, arrived on time, were fully professional and respectful, were careful, and worked quickly and efficiently. The price came in as proposed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: The crew was great, very professional and careful. They worked hard and at each finish step made sure we were happy. When I received the bill ($8,632), I was surprised, since it was almost $1,000 more than the original estimate ($7,777), which was based on my having done no packing or preparation. In fact, we had packed up almost 100 boxes (at a materials cost of $500 from UHaul and HomeDepot). |The estimate should have been much closer to the actual final cost and I was expecting a cost of thousands less, since the crew did not have to do as much prep and packing as the original estimate assumed. If we actually had not packed anything (again the basis of the estimate), what would have the cost been? Maybe $10,000? To be fair, let me again say the crew was very good and kept working every minute. I think the new house may have been a harder delivery than what had been estimated, since many boxes went into the attic. Except for the surprise upon delivery of the bill, I was happy. Would I rather have a $1000 or $2000 over estimate "cost surprise" and have everything else go very well (no damage, on time, finished early, etc)? Call me crazy, but I would say yes! Just don't count on the estimate.

Description of Work: They moved my 36" new refrigerator through my picture window into my house. |They removed the refrigerator out of its box and moved it into my kitchen |and hooked it up for us. This was during a mild snow storm. They were extremely careful with the refrigerator and my home. If I ever have to move anything I will call them. I highly recommend Piece by Piece.

The representative was very courteous and attentive to my questions. I am confident that had I selected Piece by Piece for the job. Their quoted price range for the move overlapped the firm that I eventually selected. I ultimately made my decision on a personal preference for a smaller firm.
