Excellent service. He arrived on time and did a great job on re-keying some older door locks. Very professional and personable. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any type of lock work one would need. I have used other locksmiths in the past, but Bonded Lock has been the best. I will definitely use him for any future needs.

Service was done by someone other than the owner and went as expected, except that within ~2 weeks one of the doorhandles became wobbly in a way that made clear it was not put back together appropriately (loose, but no obvious way to tighten). When we reached out to have them come back and finish/correct the job, the owner didn't have a record of us and said he thought we might have been victims of "gypsy-locksmiths" who claim to be working for his company. I had paid by check, so once I found a copy of the invoice and cancelled check, he eventually sent someone out to finish/correct the job.

Excellent! Mr. Silva was a true professional and came out immediately despite the very late hour. We were in the house as quickly as possible and Gordon was an expert in his craft. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Gordon, the owner, was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered advice and alternatives and was able to troubleshoot both of the problems we were having in a fast and efficient way. I highly recommend his service and would use him again!

Gordon was quick to respond to my email and was able to fit me in to his schedule the next day to come out and change the locks on my new house. He showed up on time, was quick, and courteous.

Gordon was extremely responsive. I emailed first, late at night, and he wrote back 2 minutes later (I saw this the next morning); I was already impressed. Then he phoned the next morning without my having to phone him. We made an appointment for that afternoon. Gordon phoned me twice before the appointment, letting me know that he would be late, which I really appreciated. He kept in touch as if he knew my time was valuable. Gordon is very friendly and very genuine. The work was done quickly, and Gordon even gave me an extra key over and above what I asked for, at no extra charge. It was like a little extra "gift". He charged me what he quoted over the phone. He said he'd honor the Angie's List coupon without my having to print it out. Besides all this, Gordon and I had some really pleasant conversation throughout his visit. He also explained some other security measures I could take, all of which I'd never thought of before. He was just being altruistic -- he had no financial interest in these other recommendations. We also have his stickers on our doors now; he explained how he could cut us new keys in an emergency and otherwise help us if we're ever locked out. Thank you Gordon!

Gordon spent a lot of time working on our locks, including one that was exceptionally difficult, and didn't charge me any extra for the additional effort. He was prompt and polite, and the rate he charged seemed very fair to me.

Well, I hired Gordon after reading all the superlative reviews of his work and was not disappointed. Gordon scheduled an appointment for July 15, 2016 and was here on time and ready to work. He knew exactly what was the issue and fixed the lock (thought I may need a new lock a old door) but that was not he case. Gordon was thorough, professional and just the real deal. Very happy with his work and will hire again because of his work ethics and pricing - very happy with Bonded Lock Service.

Very positive experience-- talked on phone one evening and had service the following morning. Provided an intelligent and honest overview of the different options for locks in light of my security worries, and would have likely talked me out of purchasing anything new had I not been set on getting at least one deadbolt!

Can't say enough good things about Gordon. He gave me a general price range over the phone, showed up when he said he would, charged a very reasonable price, and performed the work well. He was also a pleasure to speak with and provided some other general tips about securing our condo.

Responsive, personable, professional--was a great experience

Locksmith missed first appointment, but rescheduled for the following day (a Sunday). The locksmith was prompt on the second day, and did a good job. The price tag was a bit surprising, but I understand that replacing a deadbolt can be expensive.

He responded promptly to my initial call. Came and surveyed the situation and did a temporary fix, as he had to order the model we wanted. When it came in, he called to tell me the price, then we set a time for him to finish the job. Both visits were on time, he was very professional, took care to do the job right, and suggested he key the lock so that we could use only one key for both front and back.

They did a great job. Good communication from the owner. Quick response.The owner originally intended to come himself but rather than than keep mewaiting all afternoon and disappointing me, he sent a highly experiencesemployee. The person (Bob) who did the work was very skilled. His englishwas not polished but he actually communicated well regarding the workneeded, the options and costs. He completed the work on the same day we(you) contacted them working nonstop into the early evening. It was atricky job ? very old, metal clad door, that was itself out of alignment andloose at all connections. Bob pointed out all the problems and explainedwhat the limits of his actions would be. He replaced all the (ancient) lockhardware and installed cylinders which now use the same key. Bob explainedthat though he has been in the US, and working for Bonded Lock Service forabout 30 years - prior to that he lived in Taipei, Taiwan where he was awell respected (famous?) watch and clock repairman. I believe it. The doorand hardware now work with precision. I was a little surprised by the price- $845 ? but when one takes under consideration the same day response, thecomplexity of the job, the quality of hardware, craftsman skill level, andthe final results - I think we got great value for the price.
