Initial interaction through e-mail, sent pictures and defined general scope, made appointment for Friday afternoon. Gordon was a little late but maintained excellent contact through both home and cell phone numbers. Brought all materials and completed work in the late evening hours. We were very impressed with his service sense and his commitment to finish the job, even when he ran into issues that extended his work beyond estimated time.

The only problem was that he mis-entered the original appointment (for the next week). So I waited for him at the agreed time and he never showed up. After calling up, we remade the appointment the following day and everything was great. I thought I would have to get a new lock, but he managed to fix the one I had. I was so pleased I'm willing to overlook missing the first appointment.

I couldn't have been happier with the responsiveness of Gordan/Bob and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or work with them again. I was surprised at how much the total bill came to, but I can't compare it to what anyone else would have charged as we didn't bid out the work, and ultimately I am happy with what we paid for.

He was fabulous. He was absolutely on time and very responsive. It was a huge project and he moved his schedule around to accommodate me and his work was perfect.

Fixed front door and lock very well, without expensive new parts. They looked at 3 other old doors/locks which have been problematic over the years - they all are working much better. What's more, he explained what he was doing so I might be able to fix something simple in the future! He, the owner, could not have been nicer.

Gordon called before arriving and cleaned up before he left. He was fair, explained everything he did and went about and beyond. He even fixed our bathroom door latch after using it and realizing it, too, was broken. He is a pleasure to work with.

Gordon Silva provided an outstanding service. He undertook the job with great professionalism, attention to detail and courtesy. Whilst Gordon was tasked with rekeying the cylinders he took the time to make many adjustments to the locks and hinges as he went about the job. He is a consummate professional at a time when true experts are difficult to find. I will certainly be using Bonded Lock Services for any future needs and will recommend him to friends without hesitation.

At my initial call, Gordon was very pleasant. We scheduled a service date about a week after our initial conversation. In the meanwhile, I sent him photos of the locks and he sent me an estimate along with several follow-up questions. I had to reschedule the appointment last minute, and he was flexible with that. The appointment got moved back a week and they arrived on time and took care of everything. The locksmith sent had printouts of all the email correspondences that had occurred and he filled out the pricing sheet with that as a reference. I received 10% off for being a member of Angie's List as well. The service took about two hours and everything is perfect. The locksmith was even sure to close doors behind him as he moved through the house to make sure my cat wouldn't get out.

Turns out the lock/unlock button was a switch on the old lock. I felt like a fool, but Gordon was nice. He didn't charge me anything. He also added a few screws to the lock. We have lots of old locks on the doors and when we decide to have them replaced we will definitely be calling Bonded Lock again.

Very professional and friendly. Gordon took the time to understand what we wanted and gave me ideas for making the entry more secure. He also explained everything he had done after the job and made sure our handset would be credit card proof. I would recommend them.

Very punctual, estimate was more than actual cost, locks work great now, and work done quickly.

Called and talked with owner, who said someone would be at my home in about an hour. Bob arrived on time, was extremely efficient and a very nice man. Cleaned up nicely and obviously was professional.

They are professional but we did not really care about how the door looked when they were finished. They had no sensitivity toward us and we had a feeling the job could have been done better.

He warned us to stop locking the even older front door latch because it was about to break & could not be repaired. When it did break, a few weeks later, he came immediately & removed the bolt so that we could still use the door, for no charge, until we decided about replacing the latch.

Spoke with Gorden on the phone and said he someone (Bob I believe his name was) would be here between 9:30 and 10:30. Locksmith showed up on time and performed all work requested. The quality of his work was excellent. Overall, they did a great job.

They are by far the most meticulous locksmith in the state and winner again of the 2008 Angie's List Award in the locksmith category. Gordon did a phenomenal job! And I must speak about Mr. Silva personally. He is a personal pleasure to deal with, cleans up any debris before he leaves, is extremely friendly, and he speaks of things unrelated to the job, yet most welcome. My wife was particularly impressed with Mr. Silva. She initially just wanted to use any local locksmith service, like the one up the street. Gordon Silva is most courteous, kind, and goes well beyond what he has come for. His prices are 100% honest, and Angie's List customers get a 10% discount. He is the consummate expert in the locksmith field. He is subdued and well spoken. To say that he belongs in the page of happiness is an understatement! Angie's List should publish his photograph in an interview with him! I will never use any other locks except Gordon Silva. I am asking Angie's List to give additional praise.

Gordon knows what he does. He is professional and friendly. He was running late to meet me and he called to let me know, which I appreciated. I give Gordon an A+ because he goes above and beyond. He was at home for hours getting it just right. Gordon is very meticulous and professional. He charged what he said he was going to charge even though he provided some additional service. He reminded me of the 10% off for being an Angie's list client.

He was here less than an hour. Provided detailed information about what he did. He also remembered being here quite a few years ago and remembered some of the owners in the building. Good memory! Personable guy.

They were very knowledgeable, courteous, and got the job done.

Gordon came quickly after we called with a broken mail box lock. He came late on a Saturday evening to ensure that we could get to our mail in a timely manner. He was courteous and professional. This is the second time that we hired Gordon. He did a great job and we would hire him again.

I called Gordon at about 8:00 pm because I was locked out of my condo. Gordon arrived within 20 minutes, was courteous, friendly, and had me back in my condo within 1/2 an hour. He picked the two deadbolt locks, decoded them, created 2 keys for me and provided me with the code for the key in case I get locked out again.

Gordon was very responsive, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all of our questions and always gave us multiple options to help keep the cost down. We were concerned with the aesthetics of replacing the old hardware and mortise lock on our front door with a new lockable knob. Gordon walked us through multiple options and was willing to let us choose choose any option (even if it meant less money for him). In the end, we decided to replace the hardware and he did a great job installing the new hardware while protecting the molding on our door. He also helped us to secure our back door exterior hinges to make the door even more secure.

Gordon Silva is extremely professional and personable. He was flexible with his scheduling and he does very high quality work. he was running late to meet me and he called to let me know, which I appreciated. He had to return a second time because he did not have the particular lock I needed - which he didn't realize until he was on site (I wasn't able to get into the house to give him accurate descriptions) but again he was flexible.

I give Gordon an A+++ for the effort and for helping me get into my car so quickly. I had to leave that afternoon for Vermont and without his help I never would have been able to make it. He was a savior!
