I wanted a combination lock for my front door. It wasn't simple, as it's an old door and I was looking for specific features. Gordon did a lot of research - starting by asking for photos of my door, and then sending me links and photos of the options available to me. The fact that we could do all of this by e-mail or phone was appreciated. He ended up getting the exact thing I wanted, and the price was what he said it would be. I really appreciated the individualized care I got as well as his responsiveness.

I liked that they keyed the doors the way we wanted them. It was just one man and he was very nice. He was very professional and prompt.

Gordon had originally replaced all 5 locks on our home when we bought our house 3 years ago. Recently one of the deadbolts he had installed broke on our back door. I suspect the deadbolt broke after we added weatherstripping to the door which caused the door to not close properly and the deadbolt to rub whenever it was closed. Regardless of this, Gordon came out and spent two hours making minor adjustments to the locks, he took the locks apart multiple times and reinstalled them making small adjustments each time just to ensure both the doorknob and the deadbolt were closing properly and would not cause any more problems in the future. Even though the manufacturer's warranty had long expired, he charged us nothing for the visit. He clearly takes a lot of pride and care in his work. Very professional and friendly service every time.

I have a two family house and while cleaning I went through a whole ziplock bag full of keys and I think I threw out the keys to my second unit. It wasn't really known until my tenant went away for the weekend and asked me to watch her dog. She left earlier in the day so when I got home from work Saturday morning I was in a panic, looking for the keys. I looked for hours, finally around 8 am I called a couple locksmiths. I called Bonded Lock Service but had to leave a message for them. I was so concerned about getting the dog out, I was desperate almost. So I waited until about 8:30 and and still no one picked up so I called another locksmith. In my voicemail that I left, I explicitly said my situation. Fortunately, Star Locksmith picked up and was very professional and seemed to understand my situation so he said he could be by 10-10:30 the latest. After arriving, he had the job done in about 10 minutes. I understand that it was early in the morning and it was a long holiday weekend, however, Bonded Lock Service's voicemail didn't say anything about being closed and actually their personal website says they do Emergency calls and work 24/7. Still, days later no one has called me back even acknowledging the voicemail or if I got the dog out safely. I have a rental property so I have to use a locksmith at least every time my tenant moves out because I need to have the locks re-keyed or the locks changed. I hope going forward, this is not their way of customer service.

Gordon is a knowledgable, very personable professional who does excellent work with attention to providing customers with high quality products. He called to follow up on my initial inquiry, asked thorough questions so he knew what he would be doing when he arrived, and arrived on time for our appointment, ready to work.

He is fantastic; absolutely the best. Their prices were excellent. I couldn't find anyone better than him. I wish I could call him for everything at home. I would absolutely use him again.

The locksmith got all the work done in a very reasonable period of time, and also helped fix one door that had problems with the doorknob. I'm completely satisfied with the work performed.

This is the second time I've used Bonded Lock and, again, the service was excellent. I needed to have all the locks changed (rekeyed and some new bolts installed) in both units of a 2-family house. I called Gordon in the evening, and he came the next day and completed the job. The work was first-rate. I would use Bonded Lock again.

He was very friendly, cleaned up after himself and we felt comfortable around him!

Bob showed up promptly at the appointed time. He gave me estimates for re-keying and for replacing the door knobs and deadbolts on two entry doors. While he recommended going with re-keying (cheaper), I wanted everything replaced. He estimated one hour for the job, which was accurate. He also cleaned up after the project. Would definitely use them again. Bob was courteous and very professional.

Perfect. While he was installing the locks Gordon assessed my door and frame construction. As it turns out I have a pretty intense commercial-grade fire door and steel construction that is beyond reproach. It was reassuring. I recommended him to neighbors and would definitely use Bonded Locksmith again.

I called to discuss the services needed and was able to schedule the work for the very next day! Gordon was very thorough and offered suggestions for other safety considerations beyond just the locks. I appreciated Gordon's professionalism and the care he took with the work and would highly recommend him to others.

Great service. My only, minor, complaint was that they never confirmed the time so I was in the dark about what time the locksmith would show up. I took a day off work to have a number of projects worked on around the house. I called and they immediately returned my call with the time that the locksmith was scheduled to arrive.

He provided excellent service with expected outcomes on all the individual parts of the job. We did not even have to remind him about the Angie's List discount he offers.

I was moving into my house on 3/5. With all the comotion I had forgotten to get a deadbolt lock on the front door installed. I called Gordon on 3/4 and explained my situation. Gordon was very accomodating and told me he would call me back to see if he could fit me in. Thirty minutes later he called with a time they would be coming over. The locksmith arrived on time and went above and beyond the call of duty (my door was off a bit, so adjustments had to be made) The locksmith worked until he got it to his satisfaction and more importantly to my satisfaction. Bonded Lock is absolutely the best. Gordon and his team have a very satisfied customer. I would recommend Bonded Lock.

Bonded Lock Service was excellent. They were able to schedule an appointment within a few days of my calling. The locksmith was punctual and professional. He explained all the work that he would be doing and was quick and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went very smoothly. Gordon contacted me via email less than 24 hours after my request. I asked for the work to be done the next Friday morning and he was able to accommodate this. He phoned the morning of the service to let me know when the workman would arrive. The locksmith provided me with the written estimate prior to beginning work. The work was completed quickly and neatly. I was very happy with my experience.

This was our second experience with Bonded Lock (four years ago they changed all the locks when we bought the home); once again we were very pleased with the service. Gordon was prompt (willing to come out the next day though it wasn't an emergency), professional and reasonably priced. He tried first to salvage the original deadbolt to save us money but after deeming that impossible, he replaced it with a new one that better matched out other door hardware.

I needed to get all of my lock rekeyed. I called Bonded Lock Service and explained what I needed to Gordon. He was very patient and friendly. He asked me to take a picture of the keys and locks so he could give an estimate. Because one of the pictures was difficult to view, Gordon gave me a range w/ the estimate and mentioned that his colleague would perform the job and could give me a more accurate quote once he arrived. He also reminded me since I found his service on Angie's List that I would get 10% off. Anyways, he was very detailed in my options. The colleague arrived on time, was also friendly, thorough and very knowledgable. The final amount was ~ $300 which matched the quote. I was very pleased w/ this level of service and would recommend Bonded Lock Service to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Gordon was on time ,pleasant, polite, and respectful. The bill was reasonable. I would ask him again for future work because he did an excellent job.

He spent maybe one hour total. A very professional job. 9/30/10 he visited again to investigate a door handle that is a bit loose. He did not even charge anything. What a guy!

Project went very well. Mr. Silva is extremely conscientious and accommodating. Service appointment was scheduled very quickly (for next business day). Mr. Silva had a busy schedule on our service date, but was great about calling us to update us on his arrival time. Our home was built in the 1920's and with the front entry door he was dealing with an original brass door handle/lock set which had become extrememly loose. Similar repairs were made to a brass handle set on a much newer front storm door and the interior door knob set. He tried everything possible to repair the existing parts, especially since some were original to the house and would be difficult to replace. This was a lot work for one visit, and although we offered let some of the work wait for another day, he stayed until late into the evening, working non-stop to complete all of the repairs.

He was very professional and personable.

I had started talking to Gordon a while back about changing the locks on our front door. When the time came that I was ready, I called him again and we were able to schedule a time within a day for him to come out and change the lock cylinder. He was on time for the appointment and the work was complete in about half an hour. I am very pleased with the service. I would hire again.

It's rare that someone offers a service just to be helpful, but that is exactly what I experineced with Gordon at Bonded Lock. I am about to move out of the country on sabatical and one of the door knobs in my house became stuck and I only had a day to fix the problem before our tenants were moving in. I called Bonded Lock and Gordon explained over the phone how to fix the problem and didn't charge me anything. Thank you Gordon!
