Description of Work: Purchased a big deal on gas furnace cleaning. They were on time, professional and answered all my questions regarding my entire system as it is extremely complex system. ARS has always been great

Description of Work: John Hubbard did a thorough, professional analysis of my system and made some excellent recommendations. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. |ARS is very lucky do have this employee on their staff.

Description of Work: They did a good Job tuning up Furnace. Said I needed new motor and barrings for Furnace. When technician came to install new motor and barrings He. Told me my furnace wasn't worth fixing and not safe to use . Told me I needed a new Furnace and it would cost me $5,000 . I was very surprised because 1st technician said Furnace was fine just needs above repairs. I told him I had to discuss this with my Husband . Technician left, when I went upstairs that night because heat was not working I found furnace doors open and turned off. The technician was is such a Hurry he forgot to turn Furnace back on . He was also 1 hour late my window time was 9-12pm he arrived at 1:15pm. I later got a second opinion and as the 1st technician said it only needed a motor and Barrings which only cost me $400.00 So my advice is do your homework and seek second opinion esp. If they say you need a new Furnace

Description of Work: The service technician performed a standard maintenance evaluation that covered all of the components of the heating system, changed out he filters and gave me the details on items covered. The service went very smoothly. ARS will be my scheduled provider.

Description of Work: ARS removed an old combination gas furnace/water heater and installed a new gas furnace and electric water heater. There was an issue in piping the exhaust for a gas water heater, but they were able to obtain an electric one that day and get an electrician out to add that outlet. Great team.

Description of Work: The tuned up my furnace and replaced a shower control knob. They showed up on time and did good work.

Description of Work: I had two units that needed tune up. I paid for one tune up certificate and was told that I would be given the deal price on the second unit. When the technician arrived, I had someone there in my place. Because I was not there in person and did not have the certificate for both units he refused to even do one unit and left. The person there offered to call me and even pay for the second unit herself. He still refused. When I called I was made to feel like it was my fault. I had to reschedule since I already purchased the certificate and then purchased the other that day, over the phone. I got a call a few days later asking if I was going to reschedule when I had already made the appointment. They told me they had someone else scheduled at the time during which they already scheduled me and would have to move me. After expressing my outrage, they kept my appointment. After all of that, I think the technician did a good job. But I would never use them again. Ever.

Description of Work: I am very satisfied with the service experience. I was given a block of 1-4PM and the technician showed up around 1:30PM. Very professional, prompt, clear on the diagnosis and what my options were. Clear up front on the cost as well. My only reason to rate as a B instead of an A was that when I called on a Thursday afternoon to inquire and request a home visit to service my furnace the earliest they could schedule me was on Monday afternoon. I was glad it was just fall weather since I had to wait for 4 days. In the future it would be a concern if I needed service in the middle of winter and how long it would then take them to come in.
