Description of Work: ARS was running a special discount for HVAC service. I prepaid with Angies list to get my gas furnace serviced and inspected. ARS gave me a written report explaining in detail what was wrong with it. ARS said it needed to be replaced. The technician gave me two very thorough written estimates for two different types of units, which I appreciated. I did not use ARS to replace the furnace because I decided to use another company that was much closer to my home. The ARS technician was very courteous and seemed very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: I had a coupon for a furnace cleaning and maintenance. He noticed I had a valve leaking and quoted me 1100.00 and a full day with no heat to have it repaired. I called the original installers who charged me 360. and fixed it in under 10 minutes. This was deceitful business on the part of ARS.

Description of Work: We brought them in for a tune up for $99 and ended up with $2000 of repair work. The work was likely needed (or perhaps I was too trusting) but I felt misled on how the pricing was done. When I called them to talk about it they promised someone would call be back and no one did. Then our heater that they fixed stopped working. They did send someone out to the house again to fix, but I just didn't feel like they were fully trustworthy after that experience.

Description of Work: I've used them twice. First in November for a heater/ plumbing issue and they went above and beyond and made sure that not only was our heater fixed but also did some proactive work on plumbing leading into the heater. Then had them back in January when a pipe broke on the 2nd floor. They came when scheduled and did a great job.
