I had a 2 hour window for the visit (god i hate windows) between 7-9 am the gentleman showed up at 7:15 am i was thrilled he was very neat ask me questions about my air conditioners and what problems i been having he put boots on his shoes so he would not track dirt in from the outside he started work right after our conversation he was here about 21/2 hours told me the pros and cons about my system overall I would definitely call him again if i had any more problems because my units are at least 15 years old i was told i need a compressor before next year i hope this one last till the end of the summer so i will be pricing out compressors

Overall a positive experience. We purchased an inspection service from Angied List but did not undersatad that that only covered one unit. The inspection and all work was very thorough - these guys know their stuff. There was a huge range in terms of quality and price to choose from - i would have preferred for them to lead me down a path a little stronger but can't really complain about that.

First appt. they cancelled because of an emergency( first they called to say they were running late, then they cancelled) . Second appointment they did show up but left saying a couple units are too old and need replacing and that i would have a credit on my prepaid Angies coupon deal.(still no refund) Third appointment they did not show up after I had rushed home to meet them at 2 pm and their excuse was that he was too busy to come for a quote because he was running AHEAD? Of schedule and I was not home to answer phone earlier than scheduled appointment! The only reason they get a C instead of an "F" is because the workman who showed up for the second appointment was professional, clean and courteous and spent some time investigating.

Two installers arrived at 8:30am, the electrician arrived around 10am, a third installer arrived at 3pm and they were done at 8:00pm. The system works great and I have no complaints.

It was very quick and reasonable. A 13 year old compressor that still works flawlessly.

What a great company! I signed up for and pre-paid for the special on Angie's List. ARS contacted me directly to schedule an appointment. They then called 4 days earlier to see if they could come to the house which I agreed! The technician was great! Very professional, courtesy and honest! My central A/C unit is about 22 years old and he was very honest about what should be replaced if I wanted to spend the money. We agreed to not spend the money at this time on such an outdated unit! I will definitely be using ARS next season to replace my unit! Thank you very much for an outstanding job!

We used ARS of Boston to do a "tune-up" and inspection via a special on Angie's List. The charge was $88/unit of which we have two. We made an appointment and were told the technician would arrive between 8:00 and Noon. My wife called the day before to see if they could come earlier, to which they said a technician would arrive between 7:00 and 9:00 AM. The technician, Chris T., arrived at 8:50 AM, which was great. Chris was cordial and professional, put on shoe protectors whenever he entered the house, and was focused and respectful. He did identify two issues that would cost more than the tune-up charge. One was replacing an air filter, the other was adding more refrigerant to one of the compressors. The total of these two was $198. I am not sure if that was a good price or not, but the fact is he was able to do the repairs right then and there. He also explained where the longer term issues are with the system (27 years old), and explained the advantages of a replacement. He said he would have a project manager call with an estimate. I explained that we would also be checking with two other Angie's List approved vendors, as well as checking references. His only comment was that we check similarly rated vendors that work with Lennox equipment. So, all in all, I feel that I got what I paid for by a qualified and well mannered technician. p.s. - I am glad that I did not have the experiences that Yelp users Nancy K. and Camille M. had last year, but honestly, it was a good reminder to check recent references of any vendor before making decisions to upgrade major household systems.

I wasn't here but my husband (who of course wouldn't write the review) said they were punctual, pleasant, helpful and thorough. The genteleman who did the work not only explained what he was doing, and had done, he wrote it down for us. He made some suggestions concerning updating the system if we wanted to but wasn't in any way trying to sell us anything. My husband was delighted with him, felt he was honest and we filed his information because we would definitely use him again.

Very professional. Very thorough. Did safety check as well for a/dc a& furnace. Looked up age of a/c and furnace & gave typical life expectancy. Made some suggestions for future work.

I bought the inspection service on Angie's list for $88.00. They called me the same day, and we set the visit day, very close to the day of the call. Chris, the technician, came in time, was very professional, neat and careful. He did his job, replaced the clogged filter that prevented air conditioner proper operation, answered my question and gave me maintenance advises. I am very satisfied with his visit.

We encountered a few issues but as they say, you judge how judge a company is by how they respond to the problems. The owner personally got involved and saw to our complete satisfaction. We were impressed and appreciate his extra effort. Will use them again. Larry Harrington

Awesome technician. Walked me through my system and gave advice on how to improve the performance. Found and fixed a small leak. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Went great until the sticker shock. Quite pricey to say the least.

They missed the promised window for work and had to reshedule and were late for second appointment too. However, company was very appreciative of our immediate feedback and addressed the issue to our satisfaction. They really did understand our time was valuable too. The employee doing the work was great. One judges a company by how well they handle problems and this company gets an A for that. Will use them again. Larry

They responded very quickly and arrived on time. the technician took a long time cleaning and explaining what he was doing and what he found. i feel very comfortable now starting up my AC this summer. he recommended some additional work and showed me why. he was not pushy.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went great. They actually called me the next day after I purchased the service to schedule the appointment for a week or two later. There were extra charges because there was mouse damage done. It was about $300 extra. They were good. They explained everything as they were going through.The guy that came out was good. The price seemed reasonable and it is working okay. They were really quick and they were right on time.

The business contacted me within hours of purchasing the big deal to set up an appointment. They called again to offer me an appointment even sooner due to the cancellation of another appointment. The technician called to inform he was on the way and showed up on time. He was very friendly and professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all my questions. He was at my house for over two hours. He did not rush, nor did he minimize his efforts because it was a big deal from Angie's list. I appreciated his professionalism and would recommend them to anyone. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

It went very well. Met the time slot quoted. The quality of the work was top notch and very professional. I will refer others to this company.

He is a really good guy. Nick was the guy that helped me. He was professional. He was understanding. He wore his booties inside my home which was great.

Technician was punctual, professional and performed the services expected. Also replaced filters as part of the deal.

Seemed to go just fine. Since there was nothing wrong with the system it's hard to really rate the level of service as we have yet to use our air conditioning system so far this year. But the service person seemed to do a good job as far as we could tell. Our only complaint was that he was supposed to arrive before noon time, and called about 11:45 AM to say he would make it there by 1:30 then showed up at 3:00 PM and did not finish until 6:00 PM. So my wife was forced to wait an entire day to have the service call done.

I've dealt with a number A rated Heating and AC Service companies in the past and this is the only one that was able to address the problem I had with my air conditioner. Chris Trainor was a true professional. He was punctual and spent a lot of time checking on the air conditioner and made minor adjustments so that I will not have any problems with it during the summer. I would definitely call them again.

Technician (Marc E.) was spot on time. He was friendly and professional (wiped shoes off before entering:-)), thorough and a pleasure to interact with...so much so, I was happy to hire ARS for additional work when I learned of other services they performed. He detailed all steps of his inspection and the results. As a customer, I felt satisfied that I was receiving excellent service. This contract was purchased a part of an offered "big deal" so it was automatically a good deal. The additional services provided appear to be a very fair price, made even more attractive by a "service gift card" incentive offered.

The technician, Chris T., was on-time, professional, quite polite, and informative. He performed the annual routine check-up which included an inspection of all the components of the A/C, changing filters that needed to be changed, and putting the system through it's paces to make sure everything was working properly. It is quite reassuring to have the same technician come out each year to work on the system. Chris has been performing the annual check-up for the last 4 years. He always takes his time and is very thorough. I have been a very satisfied customer of ARS/Boston (West Bridgewater) for 15 years (2 A/C systems installed over that time span). I will call them early fall to have them perform a check-up on my gas boiler/heating system.

The technician Neil Phillips was extremely professional. He explained my options before starting the work and when completed, spent time explaining the system and how it works to me. Neil also installed a new Lennoc gas furnace/AC system last year. I have recommended Neil to neighbors and friends thinking of upgrading their heating systems.

Marc E. was very professional. I would hire him again.
