My experience was exactly the same which is why I hired them again. They were punctual, respectful and cost effective. They were patient with us which was nice. It was a big deal purchase. It was $88 plus I spent another $320.

They were very accommodating. They were punctual, and did good work. And they resolved my issue. I liked that they sent the same technician back to finish the job.

After he had looked at everything, he entirely focused on telling me what was wrong with the system and later when he left, I realized that he didn't tell what actually he did for the tune-up. I am sure he did some tune-ups, but I wish he told me what he did for the system.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were good. I knew that I had problems in my system and he explained everything very thoroughly. He didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need but he was very honest with what my problems were. he gave me a good plan of action on what we needed to do. He was just very honest, very thorough, very good. he was somebody I think I would trust so if we need to replace our system, I think I would definitely call them to provide a bid.

The only real reason to have our older Trane system checked was preventative maintenance as it had not been checked in quite a few years. I found ARS on Angie's list and they offered an AC tune up for only $88.00 (great price), and had many great reviews. We coordinated a convenient day, and Chris T arrived right on time. He checked out the unit, adjusted the speed of the blower, and took his time to answer all of my questions. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable, and took care to not track dirt into the house. He offered an honest assessment of a couple of AC components as they were showing signs of age/wear due to the elements, and stressed that the components were not of immediate concern. I elected to replace the "contactor" part as he was able to perform the work right away. I will definitely use ARS in the future (Heating unit tune-up, plumbing etc.). It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. I purchased two deals. The rules say you can only purchase two but I have three units. When I called I explained that I had three units and they said that I could go back on and purchase another one. They said you could only purchase two in one transaction. When I went back on, the price had gone up. It wasn't anything significant, but it was still kind of weird. It was two for $79 each and one for $88. They were very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. They were great. I will definitely have them come back to do the heating systems.

My experience with ARS - Heating & Air Conditioning Services - 8577 turned out fine. It was very good. I already recommended them to my sister.

New homeowner, new to central air. Daves answered all my questions about central air. Gave the system a tune-up and inspection. I will call again when I need a tune-up or repair.

I scheduled my service and 3 days prior to the service they called to say they could come today if I was available. GREAT! Nick G was my representative. He quickly got to work and tuned up the downstairs and upstairs units. our downstairs unit needed some repair parts and explained what had happened and what the repair entailed. I was quoted a price and he did the rest of the work that could be done that day. He said that parts would be in quickly (they weren't odd parts) and ARS would call when the parts came in to reschedule the repair. 2 weeks later I had not heard anything so I called ARS. Cindy answered the phone and told me the parts were ordered but one part was on backorder and the part supplier was holding the shipment until all the parts were in. It would be by friday (this was Monday), and they would call me to schedule the repair. Cindy never called again. I called on tuesday, Cindy said she would check on the parts and call me back. She did not. On Wednesday I called again and spoke to someone else. He said he would call me back. He did! and told me the parts were at the supplier, and they would pick them up and then be at my home between 1 and 4 that day. Sure enough, Marc E arrived and began the process of servicing the units. He explained another repair guy was picking up the parts and would arrive shortly. Sure enough Nick G had the parts. Together they repaired the A/C in no time at all. They did a great job. So my real issue is that there was little feedback about the parts. I understand that it was the part supplier, but I would have appreciated the heads up about the part situation, so that I knew something was happening and I was not just being put off.

GREAT!!! Chris Trainor was on time, courteous, accurate and informative. Would recommend highly. Also like to note that company dispatcher kept me updated on the time window when Chris would be at my place and was very accurate.

I wasn't particularly happy with what they did. They do come here and scheduling was fine and the company responded well and scheduled and showed up on time. It is just when they were here they kind of looked at my system itself oh that is already clean and essentially they didn't really do much. May be my system was clean we recently purchased the house so may be it had been done recently, but it kind of like for the amount of money you paid even though it was a great deal on Angie's list if I paid full price what I would have been you know I rate at what they did. They kind of just came through and said that looks good, that has been clean and that is that, they really didn't do anything for what I paid. If my system was just real clean I don't know. Nothing related to the service that was offered in the coupon that I got or the deal that I got. The deal that I got was for cleaning and service of the air conditioning unit, like I said as he looked certain things he said that is clean, that is clean. He did look into little bit of our problem but nonetheless they kind of didn't really do anything. He didn't respond. They don't that company service this air conditioners but they are not the right dealer of Linux and we have Carrier so there is a little bit of conflict of interest, yet they were willing to do whatever I wanted them to do, but again that would have been an additional cost. When they guy came, I explained to him the problem we are having and he said no problems he will look into to which I knew there would an additional cost, that was not a problem whatsoever. I just feel that the service I got for the $79 was worth it, but may be my system was just clean. The additional work I asked them to do again since they weren't familiar with our system I didn't go any further with that company to use as service that because they would have to do more home work to fix our system and I rather call a dealer that actually knows our system. I would use them again if I had a system, which they sponsored.

We bought the Big Deal online and scheduled the service with a quick phone call. We received a confirmation call prior to the visit, and the technician showed up exactly when stated. He did an inspection as stated in the Deal and charged the system with a nominal amount of refrigerant. He recommended a part be replaced but we declined as he also recommended the system be replaced soon as it's nearing the end of it's life (and past expected life). We received a detailed inspection report. He was very professional and explained everything thoroughly.

The service turned out well. I have a little bit of a problem getting an appointment, I had to call several times to get an appointment but that was the only thing I didn't like. The service itself was fine. The people are very nice, it's just took them a while to get back to me. I had a service maybe three weeks ago, and I had a follow up last week.

He was very professional. Called on his way there, did a complete inspection and tune-up. Was very honest with us about the state of our system. If we decide to do any upgrades we would definitely call this place again.

The provider was fine except I think he broke a piece of insulation in our attic; like the attic box. We weren't that happy because of that. There were no more charges beyond the big deal amount. It was definitely a good price. When he went up to the attic, there is a box that goes above the door that insulates it. It's like a cardboard box with insulation, that was broken. He threw it in the attic and a side broke off I think and then he didn't put it back when he closed the attic. So that surprised us a little bit. He wasn't even going to close the attic and I asked him to but I didn't know the box was broken until later; my husband saw it later. My husband glued it. It's not a huge thing, it was just a little sloppy. I think he knew stuff technically a lot. He came right on time.

The person who did it was respectful, he covered his shoes when he went inside the house. The system needed to refill the refrigerant and that added a cost to the visit ($344). We also needed to change the filter. But as it's a big one that he wasn't carry, instead of arrange another appointment and charge for it, he told us to buy it online and showed us how to change it.

The tech who came was very professional and friendly. After reviewing the situation, he contacted an engineer at the office to provide me with an initial estimate for the work. After checking with a friend, I elected to go with another provider who was able to do the work for a lower price.

We were very happy with ARS. They got the work done efficiently, and they left the place clean. They even tried to put my son's toys back where they were before. A couple of weeks later there was an issue with our water heater, and they handled that in the fast timeline that we needed.

A/C system was not performing properly. Upon review during the tune up they recommended an easy fix of just adding freon to the system. Ever since, it has been performing wonderfully. 10 years old and it feels like a new system. Very happy with their performance and professionalism.

It turned out well. The person seemed competent. He took a look and did his job. We've got some follow-ups to do that we are going to decide what we want to do about.

The serviceman was very professional. My wife who doen,t impress easilycould not say enough about his attitude , work ethic, completeness of work and suggestions to improve our system. The air conditioner has never worked better and just in time for our recent heat waves.

After purchasing a deal through Angie's List I had a lot going on. ARS called to remind us that we purchased the inspection/tune up for our Central AC and to call anytime to schedule an appointment leaving the phone number and hours to call which I did right away. I made the appointment for a week later (7/24/2013) between the hours of 7:00 - 9:00. Received a confirmation call two days before. Eric A. arrived at 8:00 am. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable of the system we had. He showed us how to manage the air from room to room as there was no air coming out of my son's bedroom vent. Explained how often filters needed to be changed and basically gave us the information that we needed to keep the system running properly. I would definitely use ARS again in the future. Great Company with a great staff and service.
