My wife dealt with them more than I did. They did not have a part that they needed but they had to come back and they did not charge us for the subsequent visit since they didn't have the part but they did charge us $200 for the part. From what I understood, the guy was fine, professional and everything.

They arrived right on time and promptly and efficiently cleaned and tuned up our Air Conditioning unit. Very professional and friendly from start to finish. It turns out the previous owner of our house also used them for AC service, so they had all the past records on our property. When I called about the Angie's List the girls in the office were very friendly. We will definitely use them again!

My old central A/C broke during the weekend and I called ARS to come out to take a look at it. They quoted me for replacing the parts to get it up and running but since the condenser was almost 20 years old and the evaporator in the attic was even older I decided to replace the whole system. They came out that Friday and it was up and running by the end of the day. Had one minor hiccup on the next Monday but they immediately sent someone out and haven't had a problem since.

They did a very thorough great job! Highly recommend.

We purchased the coupon online and scheduling was easy! The technician was friendly and supportive with our needs, specifically regarding what was needed to do now vs. what could wait for later. Would use ARS again for sure.

Excellent, very thorough inspection on the outside unit and attic, technician explained what was done and possible recommendations on best utilization of our AC unit for extending life, and on what signs to look for in the event we need to consider replacing. Would highly recommend, and we have also used ARS since this time (the technician provided coupon) for another service needed (outside hose faucet replacement).

Our home is only 2 years old so everything was running fine when we had our tune up in June. I was a little irritated because they didn't replace the filter with the right size--I had to go to Home Depot and buy the right ones for another $20. I thought maybe the service was unnecessary and we just threw away $200. But then today, the hottest day of the year, our AC goes out. The fan in the outside unit isn't turning at all. I call at 7:30 am and they have a guy here by 8:15am. He finds the part that is broken and replaces with no change because they were just here for the tune up and he said they should cover it. So boom, I go from broken AC, thinking I am going to be out $$$ for a service call, to wonderfully cool house and no money gone. I will only use ARS from here on out. Exceptional service from technician Cameron, who was prompt, polite, and thorough. Thank you!!!

the original scheduled date for the service was cancelled. I was told the technician had been injured at the previous appointment and had to go to the hospital, so my appointment was re-scheduled for the next day and showed up a hour late.

My AC unit has never been serviced in the 4 years I lived at my condo. Ryan was very helpful and informative. He took a great deal of time to explain to me in detail what was going on with my AC unit. I would highly recommend them in the future..

It went very well, the only thing is that they said it would take about a week and it ended up taking about four weeks.

They were unable to provide the service I wanted, but very pleasant on the phone. I received my coupon refund in a timely manner.

Rick was very professional & got to the root of the problem , but unfortunately was not able to fix the problem due to a company policy that prohibits its workers from working on gas conversion units . But he did find what the problem was so we are thankful for that .

The service provider worked on my gas furnace and went outside to the air conditioning unit. I was given a repair check list of everything that was done for the tune-up. I can't give many details, because the only thing I saw was when the filter that I provided was replaced. Other than that I can't give details, since I was not watching the work being done.

It went well. Originally they were only going to check out one of them, but ended up squeezing in both during their allotted time.

His quote to replace the coil and refill the coolant was $2,200. Alternatively, he told us that we could replace the entire system for $7,000-10,000. Immediately I knew he was trying to screw us, and it only took a small amount of Googling to confirm that fact. The next step was to get a second opinion from someone recommended by a friend - and I couldn't believe what we were told. This nice gentleman informed us that we did not need the coil replaced at all; yes, it was leaking, but the leak was extremely small and manageable. He could refill the coolant for us for $500 (YES, $500 versus $2,200!). When I mentioned the quote of $7,500-10,000 to replace the system, he told us that even if our house had no existing duct work and everything need to be put in from scratch we would not need to pay over $5,000. So, the moral of my story is PLEASE do not be afraid to be skeptical and get a second opinion, especially in the middle of summer. There are people who will take advantage of the heat and use it to upcharge you exponentially. I'm appalled to think that the elderly or people with health issues who need the cool air are paying these amounts without knowing they have other options.

He arrived as scheduled and pointed out a few deficiencies that have developed with the age of the unit and explained that the deficiencies would mainly be realized in gradually increased cost of operation. Other than this, the unit and coil were in satisfactory operating condition.

We moved in a few years ago have not had our AC serviced since we moved in. I have no idea if the previous owners ever had it serviced. The unit is very expensive to run and we will eventually replace it, but for now I was just looking for an honest assessment of what we have. ARS did just what they said - inspected and made recommendations for my VERY old in house air conditioning system. The unit is 26 years old and may need to be replaced in the near future. The technician was professional, polite, listened to my concerns and didn't try to up-sell me anything. He recommended replacing the coils and condenser, but that it wasn't an immediate (this season) concern. He did stress that a newer unit would be significantly more efficient, but wasn't pressuring me to replace the unit now. I appreciate companies that don't try to pressure customers, but rather just answer questions, provide info and let the customer decide. I expect to be using ARS in the future.
