Description of Work: They came in for the inspection I got though Angie's List. The gentleman was very nice to talk with about what I would like to have looked at. He was always courteous, wearing coverings on his boots whenever he would enter the house. He checked out everything we had talked of and gave me good information on what was found. Then he provided me a quote, and though I was a bit surprised by the cost, I understood it based on what he found. I let him know I had to talk with my wife before setting a date to have the work done, and he was understanding of that.

Description of Work: They did an inspection and cleaning of the furnace and suggested that it needs to be replaced since it was over 20 years ago.

Description of Work: I contacted ARS on Sunday, March 29, 2015, and spoke with Cindy in customer service. Cindy was very professional, friendly and understood the need for my heating unit to be serviced as soon as possible, as it was running on my backup system. A service technician (Nick) was dispatched Monday, March 30, 2015. It was determined that parts were needed to get my system up and running, and therefore a tuneup to my system couldn't be done until it was functioning properly. The parts were ordered and arrived in a timely manner. ARS (Ryan) returned to my home on Monday April 6th. I also received a call twice from Cindy in customer service prior to the second visit reconfirming parts and service date. After putting in one of the parts (hard start relay kit), it was determined that my compressor was gone and had to be replaced. The difference between replacing the compressor and installing a new system were minimal dollars. I chose to install a new system which came with a 5 year warranty. The system is being installed today, April 7, 2015. I also received another opinion regarding the work that has to be done, and it seems that ARS was quite accurate in their determination. I am happy so far with ARS' customer service. The service techs Nick (1st visit) and Ryan (2nd visit) were extremely patient and clear in their explanation to the many questions that I presented them regarding my heating unit. ARS is extremely responsive to their customers' needs and thus far I am happy with their service. I will keep you posted.

Description of Work: Courteous. Friendly. Cost of service includes $89 Angie's List deal.Technician explained and showed me what he did during the service. Tuned up furnace and replaced two parts that were more preventative than dire need. Furnace is seven to ten years old and hasn't been serviced in at least five years.

Description of Work: Installed a circ pump, two thermocouples, one zone head, and rigid dryer vent piping. Marc was very conscientious in not only his work but in carefully explaining everything he thought needed doing, and then when we decided to have work done, he carefully went over what he had done. After he finished his work, he also took the time to test everything to make sure all was operating smoothly.

Description of Work: ARS came out to clean my heating/ac unit based on a coupon on Angie's List for the services. The unit needed to be replaced (it was approximately 28 years old) and ARS found a comparable heating/ac unit and were back within 48 hours to install the new one. It was a challenging job since this is all one in wall unit and getting the old one out and new one in over a flight of stairs was difficult. Can't complete ARS highly enough for their knowledge, professionalism and competence. Highly recommend them.

Description of Work: changed the filters on my oil tank, oil burner and adjusted the burner for max efficiency, they also had to prime the tank line. Works well I am going to use them in the future, possibly have them install Mitsubishi Splits for Central Air
