Amazing. No dust. Attention to detail. Extremely easy going and respectful. He got down on his hands and knees to sand and then poly the hard spots. The floor looks brand new and there is no mess! It was certainly a labor of love and one that Hughes took great pride in. I think they are the best!!!!

This is a father and son team. They are the type of people you immediately like and trust to do a good job. They came out to the house and we discussed the scope of work. They clearly defined what could be done with the floors, the cost of any repairs, the viability of repairs and answered all my questions. We had a few other people give estimates for the work. Hughes floors are not the least expensive nor are they the most expensive. I believe their pricing was very reasonable. I asked how much of a down payment they required and was told that they would just leave the bill when they were finished. That is quite a show of confidence that your customer is going to be satisfied with your work. I had this work done during the slow season so I was able to get on the schedule rather quickly. The work was done in a very timely manner and the results were fantastic. This house is 45 years old and they made the floors look like new. We couldn't be happier. The house was left CLEAN. It truly was a dust free process. I highly recommend the Hughes. I would definitely use them again.

They did a wonderful job. They were courteous. They came in under budget. They were very clean. They just did a top notch job. I would whole heartedly recommend them to anybody.

I can not recommend Hughes Flooring enough. The gentlemen provided a quote almost immediately after being called, patiently answered our questions and walked us through the refinishing and floor repair process. Their knowledge, professional integrity and trustworthiness were as good as I have experienced. They were punctual, reasonably priced, and performed the work within the estimated time---they even assisted in moving a piece of furniture that we were unable to move. The work was flawless. The gap that Hughes repaired from an originally installed 1950s floor is undetectable. The refinishing job was beautiful and their effort in filling nail holes and sanding carpet slices was exceptional. They were clean and respectful of the house and, amazingly, did not leave any dust. I only wish I had discovered them for earlier jobs. You can not go wrong with hiring Arthur and Chuck. I will certainly have them back to install a new kitchen floor.

These guys did an absolutely incredible job. This condo was in terrible shape and the floors were badly stained and worn to bare wood in places. In addition, the unit has many radiators, closets, and door thresholds, all of which, add to the cost of refinishing. I had gotten other estimates, that were much lower than Hughes, but as I did more research, I realized that many companies do a poor job of sanding, use a quick-drying lacquer finish instead of polyurethane, and don't take time to get into corners and under radiators carefully. I truly believe in this case, I got my money's worth. Art Hughes and his son Chuck, took almost a week to complete the job and they did all of the work, themselves. They removed every radiator and door threshold to sand underneath them, and every corner of every closet, was done perfectly. They kept the dust to a minimum, answered all my endless questions, gave me lots of information about floor care, and were just really great guys.
