Rob Bolivar came promptly after the call ordered the part next day and came in and installed. since then the shower is functioning so great that I want to take a two showers a day.

Ron let me know when he would arrive by calling ahead. He worked diligently to get an obstinate faucet apart without damaging the finish. Then he replaced parts, which I had been sent previously by the manufacturer, cleaned the moving parts to improve the lever motion and the button to change water flow from spray to stream. He noted that the old parts are probably still fine and may not have been necessary to the repair (the manufacturer said they were needed when I had called them about the problem 3 months earlier.)

We called on a Sunday during a blizzard. It is not really fair to judge them on responsiveness under the circumstances. The plumber came the next day as soon as we got our drive plowed. A solution was offered on the phone. It wasn't the solution, but it was appreciated. Our sewage lift problem was fixed. We were delighted with the quick fix and thought the price was fair.

They are very good. They were very easy to work with. Even though we had an issue they were able to very quickly and without a lot of hassle address the issue and work through it.

After I left a phone message, Ron Bolivar called back and we arranged a time for him to look at the job. He promised an estimate within a week. A week later I called to inquire about the estimate. I finally got the estimate a couple of weeks after the visit. I thought it was a little high, but after getting a couple of other estimates determined that it is reasonable. I emailed Bolivar Plumbing asking to schedule the work, and Ron called back promptly saying it was on his schedule for the following week. Two plumbers arrived as expected at 8 am. They finished the work by 10 am. Everything works. I'm satisfied with the work, and the bill was $300 less than the estimate.

We have used the company in the past. They have been professional, punctual and get the job done and that's the service we got with the current job.

Very well, though when I found the cost was unknown to the plumber and "i would be billed" it made me nervous about what is going to come in the mail.

We have used them 3 or 4 times. They are excellent. They are very quick to respond. They have come out in a number of emergency situations in a matter of 20 minutes. We highly recommend them. The price is hard to figure because we did not do comparison shopping. Both my husband's and my feeling was that we did not know what the right price was. We had emergency situations and we had to pay the price.

Called on a Sunday morning when this pipe ruptured and we had no heat. Left message on emergency line. Mr. Bolivar himself called back in less than 30 minutes and arrived at the house about 30 minutes after that. He was unable to patch the pipe as he had hoped so he cut and replaced the necessary section. He saved the cut piece in case of insurance reimbursement without being asked. He was very friendly and hard-working. He gave us an additional discount on top of the one offered through Angie's list. He did such a good job under those conditions that we have hired him twice since for scheduled jobs. On the first of these, he recommended against replacing an old faucet as he thought that job would be expensive to do and not much of an improvement -- even though he could have just done it and made a lot of money without saying anything. On the second occasion, we had him come and evaluate our radiators. He did a wonderful job updating our steam release valves and has made the whole system much more efficient. He was fast and easy to schedule.

I was able to schedule the visit for a specific day so that my husband could be home so that he could try to learn how to drain the system himself. The plumber arrived exactly at the time scheduled. He was happy to explain to my husband what he was doing while my husband took notes. I showed him where an area seemed corroded and he said there must have been a leak that had sealed itself up. He was able to change out the valve/pipe with a new one. He was here an hour or so so the price seemed reasonable which has not been my experience with other plumbers in the past. So we were very happy since we'd had bad experiences with other plumbers in the past.

Called me back in less than .5 hour; said he'ld be over within the hour. Replaced bad pipe and left.

Great, we called them in for a second opinion on an issue we were having with our shower leaking through the ceiling on the floor underneath. A previous plumber said they would need to take the shower floor out, replace the copper pan, retile and weld the pipe for a total of $4,000. We brought Bolivar in for a second opinion and they said that all we needed to do was re-weld the pipe, so we had them do so. They saved us a ton of money and we haven't had a leak problem since then.

They came once and told us they needed parts which they went away and obtained quickly. Their work was quick and professional and they used a more hands on approach than another company we had asked to look at the problem at a much better value.

I called Bolivar Plumbing when I discovered the leak, that was dripping through in my house. I was very pleased with the quick response time and the pleasant serviceman. He was able to find and replace the pipe with a minimal amount of damage to the wall and kept the water damage to a minimum. I do not recall what he charged, but I do recall thinking how reasonable it was, especially for an emergency type call. I recommend his services.

Ron was prompt in coming out to give me an estimate and was able to answer all questions. He was able to schedule me promptly when I was ready to have work done. His guys were there on time and polite. Believe it or not, but I bid the job to two other plumbers and their bids came in higher!

I called in the morning after snaking the kitchen sink myself. The receptionist was pleasant and was able to add me on to the schedule for 3 hrs later. The plumber arrived promptly. He did his work professionally. He made helpful suggestions and cleaned up around where he had worked.

A water pipe burst and flooded the basement. They were very responsive and repaired the pipe quickly. I recommend them highly them.

Very pleasant, answered every question. Explained what they did. Found small problems that we did not know about and took care of them. They were great.
