I have had Ron and his team come out a few times now for various fixes in my new old house. He repaired the boiler and fixed a few leaks. They are very professional, come out very quickly and are extremely efficient. I will definitely have them back.

It went very well. Crew was fast and friendly. Ron oversaw install and had Mass Save paperwork all filled out for us to submit for rebate. Office followed up with a detailed invoice to support submitting of rebate. I had done some research into pricing for heaters/install and am very happy with the price Ron gave us.

The job went smoothly; we were hoping that only the hose would be replaced but the brand we had did not allow that so we had to buy the faucet as well as the hose. Bolivar got the job done within the hour. I was grateful that they brought a faucet set s opposed to me going out to shop and buy one.

They were really great. He knows his business and was the only one who looked at the pipe and understood the reason for the leak.

Bolivar refers their drain cleanouts to "The Drain Guy" out of Cambridge. They contacted me immediately and we scheduled service for the same day, in the early afternoon. The service tech was friendly and professional and did a great job. He was pleased to see the clean-out port that Bolivar installed, which is much easier to run a 'snake' through than a standard P-trap. Problem solved -- with quick follow up, prompt and on-time, and great service.

Had to come back the next day to just even out the bath faucet so that it would be symmetrical with the other handle. Also the hose faucet had to be straightened a small amount. In my particular case the hose faucet was placed this way due to the somewhat close proximity of our back step landing. I had noticed that there seemed to be a new drip from our kitchen faucet, but it was something new that happened the next day. Ron the owner was very accommodating and fixed this issue, which was not part of the original work. He did not charge for it, which was something I did not expect. My only recommendation is to just give a quick call in the event of running behind for a scheduled appointment. Ron arrived 15 minutes earlier for todays appointment, We have used Bolivar several times in the past and I have always gotten the best service from their professional, accomodating and highly skilled plumbers. Exceptionally well. Chris and coworker Chris arrived punctually at the appointed time, reviewed the projects with homeowner, and immediately set about to complete tasks. They had all required parts and equipment on hand and worked as a team to complete the job in a timely manner...including crawling under a very tight space to connect a frost free silcock to existing copper water pipe. They were polite, professional, and neat in their work...no mess left behind. I am very happy with the quality of materials and services provided and consider the cost of service quite reasonable considering the labor required and difficulty of tasks. All repairs were completed as requested, much improved and no leaks. I highly recommend Bolivar Plumbing and will call them for all my future plumbing needs.

I like them and would call again. He is short of capable help right now so it took a few days for the office to get back to me from my original call. I did tell the office that my issue was not an emergency, but that I needed help with a leaky kitchen faucet. They did come back when the new part came in in time for my house guests visit, for which I was very grateful.

No problem. We use their services all the time. They are extremely dependable and reliable. Great work. a tad pricey, but worth it because of their reliable quality.

They have performed various minor plumbing work over the course of two years.

One time it was water cascading down through the electrical outlets from a burst pipe on the 2nd floor. They were at our house in half an hour, fixed the pipe, and gave us good advice on how to avoid a repeat in the next deep winter freeze. Another time it was a leaking pressure regulator valve to the sprinkler system. They were really great about giving us options at different costs on how to fix it. Most recently we called for advice on some plumbing issues the home inspector found when our daughter was buying a home. Ron was great about just talking through what was important and what not to worry about even though the house was much too far away for them to get any work from it.

It went well. It was early January and schools and workplaces were closed while the state dug out from a big snow storm. Our first floor heat was blowing cool air instead of warm air. We called the plumber, expecting it to take a while. However, Bolivar Plumbing got a plumber to our house within a couple of hours. He poked at the system a bit, decided one of the circulators was not working, and replaced it. The system still didn't work, and he suspected the new circulator was bad out of the box. He replaced it again, this time with a different brand, and this time bled all the air from the system. It has worked fine ever since.

They came and finished in a very timely manner - very professional.

Ron came on time and was very courteous; he went through everything with me and mailed me an estimate within 48 hours. The main reason I did not use him was because of all the estimates I got, his was the most expensive. Depending on an estimate he might give me on other work in the future, I might consider using him in the future.

His service was good and his price was very fair. I would use him in the future.

Both were fine but the sink leaked within a week so they came back and fixed.

I consulted with Ron and his staff a few times beforehand to understand my options for replacing a toilet and fixing two dripping faucets. They were patient, and gave me estimates over the phone. It didn't always get through the first time I called (answering service one time, answering machine another time). But they did call me back within a day or two, which was fine since this wasn't an emergency. Two nice young men showed up to do the work -- not precisely on time, but reasonably close. When they unpacked the new toilet I noticed a little chip in it, at a spot that wouldn't be visible once the toilet was fully assembled and installed. I decided not to mention it, but the workers noticed the chip, too, and simply took it away and brought back a new unchipped one. The countertop under our old faucets was stained, and they took pains to place the new faucets to cover the stained area. It only took an hour for them to replace all 3 fixtures, including the time it took to go back to the shop to exchange the new-but-damaged toilet. They cleaned up and left. The bill was about $750 for the new toilet and labor to replace the faucets (which we had previously purchased). I found this reasonable considering that another highly-rated plumber (Nicholson) quoted us an exorbitant price, almost 47% higher than Bolivar's. I will definitely look to Bolivar Plumbing in the future.
